Very VERY poor. Hired to redo the entire inside of our house after Florence. Bottom line is they will sell you a lot of dreams and promises but these guys can't and did not deliver. Too much was unsatisfactory to even list, but these are some of the worst:
VERY amateur and poor quality work, caught them in multiple lies, awful communication at best, workers would show up largely every couple days for maybe 1-3 hours.
Job was under contract to take 3.5-4 weeks. After 4 and a half months and 7 missed deadlines, we told them not to even come back and we would have to hire another company to finish their work and fix all the mistakes. The last straw being that I told James that after being 3 months behind schedule enough was enough and I needed the job done within one week. He told me it would be done in 5 days and then no one showed up during that time to finish the work! And was surprised that I told him that I considered the job abandoned and that we would get another company to finish their work.
Drywall and painting was so poor we were told "they don't use that company anymore" that they subcontracted. Still expected us to pay full price.
Lost our house keys on first day of job; I had to leave work to let them in and then go make spare keys. I came home twice to front door wide open and no one at the house.
ZERO care taken to protect our house, furniture, items, etc. They never even covered stuff with plastic while doing drywall and scraping popcorn ceilings! Drywall dust STILL permeates our house even after 3 professional cleanings. And with two kids under 2 it's a health hazard.
Since we had to move out while they did repairs, we had to pay out of pocket $8000 for temp lodging for the time that they went over the contracted end date. Not ONCE did they apologize for the job not being done or even call or email us to tell us what was going on. The deadline would come and go, I'd give it a day or two, then contact James to find out what's up. And here would come the promises and stories about how things were gonna be finished real soon. Then no one would show up to work. Verified this through neighbors keeping me apprised of who was at my house working and when.
They don't follow the procedures in their own contract, so the expectations I had based on that legal document were really never met. (Procedures for a punch list said an itemized list of stuff to finish would be mutually created that both parties sign. James would show up, not write anything down, then forget everything we went over. This happened 5 times and always resulted in him saying things were done when only %20 of the punch list that I DID write down was done.
Bottom line is we gave them multiple chances, tried to be good clients, and gave multiple chances for them to fix things we weren't satisfied with...but just got jerked around and got lousy amateur work for our money.
TL;DR: WE PAID $22,000 FOR A JOB THAT WAS NEVER COMPLETED AND FOR QUALITY OF WORK THAT THE AVERAGE DO-IT-YOURSELF PERSON COULD MANAGE; ALL WHILE DEALING WITH HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION, LIES, AND TOTAL DISREGARD FOR THE CONTRACT WE SIGNED AND FOR THE CONDITION OF OUR HOME.
I do not recommend this company whatsoever. read more
