What a find! We were in search of a Lobster Roll to go and found one of the best we have ever had! The roll was full of chunks of lobster meat; delicious seasoning and limited mayo on a toasted bun; just the way we like it. The roll comes with chips and a pickle too. The restaurant is more of a take out spot but has a few tables outside. The staff was friendly and helpful and the space clean. We will be back! read more

Amazing little beach town find. Passing through from providence to Cape Cod stopped in at this little gem to tey the lobster roll. The owners were just outside enjoying a bite themselves as we came in. Tried their 2 most popular items lobster roll and lobster grilled cheese and NOT disappointed. No inside tables, just a couple out front but weather permitting its only a short block over for nice little shaded benches with a view of the water to enjoy. read more

Came here on a cool, rainy day so it wasn't crowded. Nice interior with picnic tables. Good menu...can tell it's a lot of fresh stuff, not the typical Cape menu with fried everything. Lobster roll was great- great touch with the warm butter poured on top. Prices were reasonable. I'll definitely go back. read more

Just left this place with a lobster roll chips and a pickle. The sandwich was outta sight. This lobster has never been refrigerated. Fresh as can be. In fact I might even say it was just cooked. This was my first time here but it for sure will not be my last! I had their signature lobster roll and found it to be the perfect portion for lunch. The lobster bisque was piping hot bowlful of succulent sweet lobster. My lunch was served within five minutes of my arrival. Accompanied by Cape Cod potato chips and pickle on the side. Living on the Cape, I've had many lobster rolls from many different places. This place just came to town weeks ago and of course, being a townie, I had to try it out. Ordered a small lobster roll and it was absolutely the most delicious lobster roll I've ever had. Most places either serve their lobster rolls with lots of mayo or no mayo (they put it on the side). Not here, they add very little mayo so you can actually taste the lobster meat with a little sweetness. A perfect combination that makes this place number one for lobster rolls anywhere. read more

WOW! The best lobster roll ever. We traveled about 25 minutes and passed about 6 lobster roll restaurant signs to get there. It was 100% worth it. Nothing but lobster. no lettuce to deal with. No celery to take away the lobster flavor. Just chunks of lobster with a dash of mayo and a whole lot of flavor. The butter toasted/grilled rolls added to the awesomeness! We were lucky to land a seat outside (2 tiny tables and 4 chairs). Can't imagine getting a lobster roll anywhere else again. Oh, and the owners are very attentive to providing great service to go along with great food. I'll be back! read more

Maybe hardest review to date as a perfect Lobster roll is...rather has to be basic w/minimal additions. They have the perfect Lobster roll. Once ordered it isn't ready in 30 sec like it was sitting ready for you. Roll was perfect. Very friendly owners. This is a must stop. Other options in the area-sure but not this perfect product. Wonderful addition to Onset. Delicious! So happy to have it in town. We use to travel to Buzzards Bay for lobster rolls, now we can take a short walk and get the best. This tiny operation makes each roll by hand for the customer so be patient, it is worth the wait! read more

So I came all the way here because I found the great reviews on yelp. So i put the address in the GPS and spent a few hours with my girlfriend at onset beach. As soon as I saw the owners, I knew this place was gonna be off the hook deliciousness. I scarfed mine down in 2-3 minutes. Soooo yummmy, and the owners were very friendly and inviting. And i'll drive another 1 hour and 20 mins again for another lobster roll before the summers over!! read more

Heading home with a 3 hour drive ahead of us after getting off Bourne bridge. Knew we didn't want highway fast food. Saw sign for food and had never been to Onset so we took a chance. Did a quick Yelp review to guide us. Wow! Worth the detour. Tiny place but amazing lobster rolls. When you do only a few menu items, you focus on what you do best. For this place, it's chunks of lobster on a perfectly buttered, somewhat basic, hot dog roll. Couldn't pass up the lobster Mac n Cheese. Great portion. Creamy and well balanced with lobster pieces. Needed a pinch of salt and could use some pepper but still very good. Also tried the clam chowder, which was also a generous portion. I've had better but I'm not complaining. The "5 star" rating is for good unpretentious food served by nice people. This was a chance detour that turned out perfectly. read more
