It wasn't until about 10 years ago that I started noticing and got worse over the years. A year ago, I somehow twisted my knee in a way that they would hurt more than half the time--alternating between right or left. Adding to that I have scoliosis, so my back is not that great either, and would get back pains. I have gone to chiro many years and my back got much better, but they weren't able to fix my knees. After many months, finally decided to give ROLFING a try. By the first session, when Manny was working on my hips/knees area, there was a large pop sound--Manny popped my hips/knees back in place--yay! I felt a difference from the first session and was so happy. After session, my body will feel more relieved. Throughout the sessions, Manny was always very experienced talented in treating me. He can see where your stance/problem areas are and tries to fix them. He is also great at teaching me different after class exercises that I can do at the gym to strengthen/work on my problem area, which I am extremely thankful of. Whenever I raise questions or sharing certain problems I have, Manny always take the time to examine and make them better, and provide appropriate exercises for them. Every session, Manny will take before and after pictures, so you can see the progress. From my before and after pictures, the biggest change are from my side profile. I used to lean more and now I am much more balanced, which is great, because that will take less pressure of my knees. My knees got 65% better than before ROLFING, but it's still not 100% but that just because my knees are born structurally different/crooked on the inside whereas normal people are straight. Whenever my knees hurt now, I will just do a few exercises that Manny taught me and my chiro taught me, then my knees usually won't hurt anymore. Before ROLFING, if I do the exercise that chiro taught me, it only works half the time. After ROLFING, the combo of ROLFING and chiro exercises work almost 90% of time. Quite amazing! The weirdest part of ROLFING is when of the session helps relax the tissues around your face. LOL. I was really quite surprised! But I guess the good thing is if you have a problem area on your face, i guess this will help relax/fix it.

I…read morehonestly didn't have a clue what modality this was, but I must say that it was an eye opener. I'm probably more in tuned with my body than an average person. I workout regularly and enjoy outdoor activities. I've also done many different workout formats from yoga to hardcore weight lifting. Manny has given me a new sense and level of body awareness and functionality. After every session, I felt like I was 6 feet tall (and I'm only 5'). He has given me activities to help activate muscles that have been dormant for some time. It's amazing what the body is capable of. A few months into their program I starting seeing dramatic improvement. Since the protocol they use is active and strength based - the stronger my back and core muscles became the less pain I had. The equipment they have is super precise, medical grade gear specific to back and neck therapy, we're lucky to have access to that here in Central Oregon. Anyway, 5 years later I'm virtually pain free in my low back. They also taught me how to maintain strength and flexibility on my own. I'm 65 years old and I don't feel limited by an annoying sore back any more, in fact I starting backpacking again during my treatment and now I can go on week long trips with a heavy pack, yep! If you stick with the prescribed exercises and stretching, and check back with them as needed, you might be able to eliminate low back pain like I have. You might be surprised how even minor improvements in core strength can make such a big difference in the quality of your life .. do it!

I sought out Nicolette again because I've had such a good experience with her in the past. Her combination of soft tissue massage and functional exercises is top-tier. She showed me everything I needed to know about rehabbing my injury and gave me all the tools and instructions needed to continue my progress at home. Nicolette and her team are easily the best at what they do in the area and I cannot recommend Rebound Physical Therapy at the Redmond Athletic Club (the RAC), enough.

PT here was great -- no complaints…read more HOWEVER, I had a very similar experience as reviewer S W. from 2021. It seems like nothing has changed in their extremely money-grubbing, predatory ways. I was told that each visit would have only a small co-pay of less than $20 dollars based on my insurance. I then received a bill for SEVERAL THOUSAND which was then "generously lowered" to several hundred dollars after calling them. When I attempted to call them and further dispute the charges, I was punted back-and-forth between the front office and billing office with no one able to clarify what the extra charges were for. On my most recent attempt to call them, I was told that I had been sent to collections several weeks ago (despite me calling the office the entire time). I am writing this review to warn others to make sure that these things do not happen to other unsuspecting people. Do not come here if you don't want to be scammed. I didn't pay heed to S W's review and look what happened to me.

I worked with Lela Stemple, and she was a great PT to work with from start to finish. She helped me improve my strength and mobility step by step, and I always felt like the exercises were tailored to where I was at in recovery. Everyone there was friendly, professional, and made the whole rehab process a lot less stressful. Recovery hasn't been easy, but having a PT who's supportive, knowledgeable, and positive makes a huge difference. I've made a lot of progress and really appreciate all the help along the way. Definitely recommend Rebound Bend South if you need physical therapy after surgery or an injury.
