Found these guys because I wanted to get my Bicycle tuned up here local in Dripp. So glad I did. I found my wife a bicycle for $20 at a garage sale. It needed to be cleaned up and tuned up. These guys knocked it out of the park. For about $70 out re door they make the bicycle like new! The staff was very professional very courteous and super knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely go back there again with any bicycle concerns. One more thing the address on yelp map is not accurate. read more

A friend of mine turned me on to these guys when I told him I was in the market for a new bike. I could not have had a better experience. Shane guided me into a 2017 Intense Spyder 275C that just came off demo...this is the most insane bike I have ever ridden (I think I lost 10 pounds just thinking about how much more I am going to ride!). Honestly the deal was too good to believe...seriously I spent over an hour on e-bay and other sites and could not touch it. After the decision was made Shane spent nearly an hour going through shock tuning, seat height set up etc. he has a little track in the back of the shop and really takes the time to dial you in. I left my old bike with him for a tune up as my wife is about to inherit it and he did a full tear down and rebuild for a fraction of what the other guys in Austin charge me, and he didn't give me the usual and unnecessary upsell. From now on I am making the driving out to Dripping Springs which is a serious testimony because its like 35 miles from my house in Austin. They are that much better. read more

Dropped my mountain bike off for a much needed tune up and not only did they do a great job at a super reasonable price... but they even washed it and had it looking brand new! Definitely recommend this shop and what's great is, for those of us who are out west I no longer need to drive all the way into Austin. read more

We dropped off our 3 Kona mountain bikes for a much needed tune up. We were in a rush as the Texas Parks were going to film us the next afternoon at Pedernales Falls State Park. I drug in two old bikes that have been gathering dust in our workshop for a decade. This, after our daughter noted she wouldn't mind having some "off-road" bikes for her and her husband. Anyway, Shane quickly assessed what each bike would need, and said he could have them both ready in two days. I have always loved Kona bikes and was recently looking to buy a new dual suspension mountain bike. I looked up Kona dealers in and around Austin and found Canyon Cycles. I called and talked to Shane when I was doing my initial research on bikes, I thought I had narrowed it down to a Kona hei hei trail but wanted to talk with someone who knew more than me to make sure I was about to make the right decision. After getting a good idea of what I was looking for and what kind of riding I would be doing, he suggested that I also take a look at Transition bikes along with the Kona I had been looking at. I'm so glad he pointed me in that direction! I ended up with the Transition Smuggler and I absolutely love it. I opted for last year's carbon model which had a good discount so I got a great deal on a top notch bike! The customer service from Shane has also been top notch, he even called to follow up with me after I took it home to make sure everything was good. Shaun is a bicycle savant! I am riding across the country in my 20 year old GT titanium bike with a Campagnola Record 10 speed Grupo and I cannot shift into my granny gear. So I Yelped "the closest bicycle shop" to where I am and it is in Dripping Springs Texas. I punch in directions to and I am led to a house in a residential community. I think Google maps is playing a trick on me but then I see a lady wheel in an old Giant bike that she hasn't ridden in 10 years. Sean puts my bike on his homemade built-in bike rack and in under 60 seconds confirms that my rear derailleur is shot! Even I could see the problem. He goes rummaging around his bin of used parts and, lo and behold, he has a used 10 speed Record rear Derailleur that he puts on in about a half an hour. He cleans my chain, my front chain rings, and rear cassette and charges me 20 bucks labor, peanuts for the derailleur and I'm off and riding toward Florida. Truly an amazing guy! I took my son's bike in for a tune up and it needed new tubes as well. I got it back a few days later and was charged for a tune up and 2 new tubes, around $50. A couple days later the tire was flat again, I took it back the following week and they said they might have missed something so kept it over night. Got a call the following evening and was told "The tube was bad so that is why the tire was flat again" I said " but you charged me for 2 new tubes and a tune up a little over a week ago" He said "well the tube isn't bad, tires just sometimes go flat" I said " but you just told me that the tube was bad" he floundered for a bit while looking up my account then confirmed "oh yeah, we did charge you for 2 new tubes". I said, "so you charged me for something that you didn't actually do?" He said, "well, we don't usually do that." I'm thinking, ok, so why did they choose to cheat me? I went to pick up the bike the next day and was told that the other tube was actually new, so I said "well, you lied about the first one being new and got caught trying to cheat me so I have no way to prove the other one is new" I say, if you go to this bike shop and need new tubes - buy them and install yourself!!! read more

Shane and carlos know their stuff. Super nice, honest, stand up guys with a no bs policy. They can do it all, from road to mountain, recumbents, and kids bikes, they can fix it all. High end custom builds, they can do it! Low end repairs, they can do it! Cruisers, and commuters, they can do it. Got something no one wants to or can repair, they can. I refuse to go anywhere else.
