For a first time experience, this park unfortunately did not leave a good first time impression. We did the mountain tubing and the canyon coaster. The mountain tubing was fun and the kids had a blast. Then after tubing, we waited in line for over 2 hours for the canyon coaster. Mind you we also waited in the rain which is why the wait was so long. They had to stop the ride due to the weather. But we made the trip to Williams for this park so we continued to wait. When we finally sat down for our ride they made sure we were secure and safe for the ride. They place a scan card in the video camera to record us as we enjoyed the ride. The ride was ok, it lasted less than 4 minutes and you can't really enjoy the view because the signs tell you to look straight and your busy trying to steer your seat and make sure you are going at a pace so the person behind you does not hit you. Once we were finished we stopped by their souvenir counter and they had computers to input your scan cards to upload photos and videos. Here is the real DISAPPOINTING PART of our experience and just something customers should keep in mind when coming to the park. My sister and nephew's scan card would not upload, when asked the attendant (Blonde hair, probably late 50s/60s) for assistance she pretty much struggled it off and basically told us there was nothing she could do about that. Then my sister asked, "then does he get a free ride?" The attendant didn't say anything and walked away. My brother and Husband asked to speak with the manager (Dark Brown hair with bangs and probably late 50s/60s) told her the situation to see if they had any way to find the video and stated that there was nothing they could do. Then replied back with some statistical number on the chance of the card not actually working. So then we asked if there was anyway we can get my nephew on another ride so that way we have video and pictures. She stated, "No, if you buy the tickets I can get you in the front of the line. There is nothing we can do about it if the card does not work, we have no control over that." All we wanted were the pictures which we had no issue paying for and sadly, we felt like they treated us as if we were looking for a free ride instead of helping the issue. They showed no empathy for my sister and nephew. It was poor customer service on their part especially when we had to wait so long in the rain! read more

We were very excited to try the coaster and tubing in our trip to Flagstaff and loved every minute of it. The park is brand new and very well run. The waiver process was quick as was ticketing. The coaster was the highlight and the staff were so polite and friendly, especially as my son has special needs. A big shout out to Tina for kindness and making us feel so welcome. My son was nervous to ride but after one trip down the mountain was so excited he asked to go again. The great part is that you can control the speed so if you are not wanting a high thrill experience you can slow things down a bit and enjoy the scenery. The tubing was also great and the lift to the top definitely made the experience fun. We are going to make this a regular stop every trip to Flagstaff and Williams! read more

During our long weekend in Flagstaff, we stopped by before heading to the deer park nearby. Saw a video on TikTok and figured it would be a great way to break up our outdoorsy trip. Did the research prior to visiting and was fully aware of the pricing. Was it pricey at $20 an adult rider and $10 for a child, yes! But, it's brand new and still working through the various phases...and it's definitely a tourist trap. For a one time thing we didn't care and enjoyed every second of the coaster!!! Staff was super friendly and helpful as they guided us through the whole process from filling out the waivers to exiting our seats. Loved the handle controls during the ride to slow it down a bit. My daughter (8), was all for moving down the handles to speed us up while I pulled up a bit to slow it down. I wanted a chance to soak in the moment and she was having none of it. She was laughing and giggling the entire time. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because it's a really fun place to take the kiddos BUT it's very pricey! For a family of 4 it was $110 for 1 ride for each of us on the rollercoaster and 6x (3x per child) for tubing. My kids had a blast and were bummed to leave so quickly. We were in and out of here in an hour and a half. They only have these 2 rides. With the amount they are charging, they should be offering more. Just my opinion. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

Very fun alpine coaster with a nice view. Friendly staff. Price is too high though. I would like to see a multi-ride or repeat ride discount. $20 for each ride ($30 if tandem) is too expensive to go more than once. Last summer we rode the coaster at Heavenly Tahoe and, while also expensive, they offered an unlimited ride pass for roughly the cost of 3 rides. Such a pass or perhaps 1/2 price for additional rides would encourage much more repeat business. Also didn't like the no camera rule. I wanted to wear a GoPro (like I did at Heavenly). Seems like that would be great free publicity for them, but they apparently want to sell videos and/or photos (not yet available when we went). read more

It's just I wanted to go fast but the person in front of me was going at a snails pace so I couldn't go fast and the car would automatically slow down if I got too close. For the business I recommend putting the people the slower people in the back of the group so the people that want to go fast have no problem and the people wanting to go slow can go slow. And it won't waste someone's $20 because of someone else's ignorance. read more

This place is great when it come to the attractions; however, the line was an hour long and with everyone hot and when there's no breeze, it's gross. Ceiling fans would improve that area. The entrance of the grill was extremely basic and there was no organization at all. No direction with customers or staff. They failed to tell customers they ran out of cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions until you've already received your food. I'm not familiar with the area and had a little bit of a hard time finding it, but we had a great time once we got there! We took a church youth group of about 30 girls + 6 adults. The park staff gave our large group personalized service. They were wonderful to us, checking in often and ensuring we had what we needed. They ensured we had a great time and that everyone was able to participate. The facility was clean and well kept. Keep in mind that there are 2 main attractions, the roller coaster and the tubing. We rode the roller coaster once and got unlimited tubing for 2 hours. They have a moving walkway up to the top of the tubing hill, making it accessible to nearly everyone. The attendants at the top of the hill give directions, help with the tube, and make sure everyone is safe. There is no seating at the tubing area but we were able to bring camp chairs for those in the group that were not participating and the tubes themselves make handy seats when not in use. There is no sun cover at the tubing area so sunscreen is a must. The staff was kind and polite. They were willing to share the shade of the tube building and their cold water even though, with a group of kids that large, we got in their way a bit. There is food available in the main building and they let us fill up our water bottles with water and ice whenever needed. We had a great time, would definitely recommend! read more

Really a fun ride. However, I'll echo what others have said the price point is off. And honestly, there is nothing to keep you there or to encourage you to come back. I was super interested in riding again but NOT for another $20. So it really feels like a one off kind of adventure. Fun but expensive. I really can't understand why they haven't considered mult-ride options, locals discount, season pass, half off your second ride, group party rates, cameras to view the riders as they come down on tv screens as you wait in the cafe. The kids loved the coaster. They got in quick and clean, employees were happy and helpful. Seeing them smile made me smile and that's what it's all about. This place is a great end of day stop for the kiddos before you go to sit down and eat. It is a little pricey, but the surrounding area is very touristy and I think it comes with the territory. I came into town solo on a hiking trip and saw how close my motel was so had to stop by. Grabbed a drink at the bar and the bartender was very nice and made a great drink and then I went to purchase a ticket for the mountain coaster. All the girls in the main room were very welcoming and answered all my questions. Tracy and Andrea were the sweetest people and deserve more praise than they get! I saw their promotion video online and it looked fun, so we decided to give it a try since we were staying in Williams for the week. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and seemed to really like their jobs. The facility is well cared for and spotless as was the upstairs indoor viewing area that also had very large video screens on the wall so you could watch others coming down at various corners and turns. We went during the week and the line was very short and we boarded within minutes. The attendants who make sure you're buckled in safely and provide the simple operationAl instructions for the sled were also very polite and thorough. The ascent to the top of the hill was very steep, fun and scenic. Once you get to the top where the American flag is located you push forward on the controls to start your descent down the mountain. 30 mph doesn't sound too fast, but with all of the tight corkscrew turns it was plenty fast and delivered lots of thrills all the way down. The group we were with were all in their upper 70's and didn't want to go with us thinking they were too old to give it a try. Once we were finished we talked them in to trying it so my wife and I went a second time with our entire group. They all had a blast. My only negative feedback is that the backs of the sleds should have some padding, since most of the corners are steeply banked which throws you against the hard plastic backing. read more

Came here in Summer on a Thursday afternoon and there was no line. From the other reviews it looks like that is key as there was no one in from of us and we could go at top speed. There is a cameraman where you can buy a video of your run and it is well produced. Definitely come here if you can and plan for a time when it is not crowded. read more

We stayed Wednesday night in Flagstaff assuming they'd be open the next day. We drove to Williams and my husband found an employee who said they weren't open for the day. THE best customer service! My family had a wonderful experience. We were told it'd be an hour wait, but it didn't feel bad at all. The view from the top of the coaster was stunning. I was quite frustrated when I got stuck behind a slow old woman and my coaster kept braking to keep a distance. This was my boyfriend and I's first time coming to Canyon Coaster for what was supposed to be a fun date idea. All staff was amazing, super nice, and friendly. We had so much fun on the single rides and enjoyed the amazing views!! The attendants reassured me bc I was nervous and afraid of heights. Meanwhile, my boyfriend (carter) was just ecstatic to go fast. The day took a terrible turn when we ended up loosing our keys along the ride after knowing how far my bf tucked it inside his shorts pocket. After probably 2 hours, the amazing staff was able to locate it and we were so entirely grateful. Thank you so much to Logan, Garrett, & Patt for all your help in finding those keys and making sure we could get back home. Otherwise, we probably would've been stuck in Williams for a night, with no money, phones, etc. These guys really went through the terrain, warm sun, and spent their time and who knows what else for us.. I just want to express our gratitude bc this was no joke... this isn't a story to necessarily be proud of but they deserve all the best going forward! Very disappointing experience! My family drove up from Phoenix to enjoy the tubing hill. My kids (ages 6 and 3) were all geared up and ready to go. We arrived at 3pm (website says they are open until 6pm). When we arrived they said they were closing down at 4pm for one hour for maintenance so we could tube for one hour or come back at 5pm. It's already very expensive for two hours so I asked if they would discount it for one hour or let us use the second hour after the maintenance. The girl at the window said no so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and basically threatened to not sell me a ticket. If my children weren't literally crying I would have walked away immediately and never given them my money. Instead I convinced my 6 year old to try the coaster. Also very expensive, a 45 minute wait, and only a few minutes for the ride but she was at least having fun and not crying anymore. That is until we got off the ride and there's a video of everyone on the coaster, well everyone except us. Our card would not load the video. The lady very nonchalantly said sometimes the videos don't work and it's not their equipment so nothing she can do. Now my kid is crying again. We hit the bathrooms before leaving and there was toilet paper everywhere and it was a mess. Not even a hook in the bathroom to hang a jacket. The place was a very big disappointment. read more

Very disappointed. We arrived at Canyon Coaster around 2:50 pm. The kids wanted to go tubing. We have already been on the coaster several times throughout the summer. They wanted $40 per kid for the last hour that they were open. They close at 4. They don't have any type of deal per hour or even just a one time go. The ladies at the ticket booth were encouraging people not to buy tickets because they were closing in an hour. To me that was absolutely insane and probably won't be visiting canyon coaster again. We had a great time winter tubing. The tubing lanes were well kept. I really appreciated the magic carpet that takes you to the top of the hill. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are bathrooms (unlike the portable ones at the snow tubing area in Flagstaff) and an inside cafeteria style eatery with tables. We had a great time! read more

10/10 would not recommend or waist my money here again. All posted signage says closes at 5. Bought tickets for the coaster and tubing at 4:08. Road the coaster and grabbed a drink at the bar right after. The bar was shut down at 4:30 so we proceeded to go to the tubing and when we got up top there was no one there. So we called and they said they had to shut it down. So we went to the window for a refund and was told at 4:40 by the girl working the window it was shut down because we waited too long. Even though we already prepaid for the tickets. Then The "general manager" came over aggressively yelling at me that it was a mechanical issue. Not sure if it was timing or mechanical but I wouldn't waist another dollar here.
