I was in the corona area and needed a place to hangout for a few years. Canvas coffee checked off everything that I was looking for at the time. I went a Friday at around 3:30 pm so it wasn't busy at the time. There's plenty of parking spots available. There was ample seating both inside and outside. Free WiFi was also available with the information available right at the table. There's not a restroom within the store but it's a brief walk outside. When browsing their menu, I was particularly interested in their coffee flight. However, I didn't think I'd had enough time to enjoy that so I got their light roast drip coffee. It took about 5 minutes for this to be ready. Coffee was insanely hot but this was to be expected since it was a fresh batch. It was some strong coffee and even kept me up later that night lol. Overall, it was a nice discovery. I liked the atmosphere of the shop. I was able to get some reading done since it wasn't too loud. There was a lot of natural lighting coming through the windows. It's a great place for those that wanna study. American Express is accepted here.
Always love their coffee and lattes here. I have not tried any of their other drinks but they have quite a variety of drinks, foods and treats. Service is always friendly and fast. There are plenty of places to sit inside to study or meet up with friends. It has aesthetic and modern decor. They also have outdoor seating, the tables can be shaky but it is still a nice space to hang out.
In town for a tournament and always on a mission to find a locally owned coffee shop over a big box chain. Canvas Coffee caught my eye, and I loved that it felt community-driven right from the start. It's located next door to a church, and you can tell there's an affiliation because the space is huge, open, and welcoming. Everyone inside was genuinely kind and friendly. It has that warm, community vibe that makes you feel comfortable immediately. I can imagine it being especially lively on a Sunday morning when services let out. The menu is fun and extensive. I originally considered the "Katy Perry" drink (which sounded adorable), but it's a layered drink and I wasn't in the mood for something sweet or decorative. I went with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla latte topped with salted caramel cold foam. I was only the third person in line, and my drink came out almost immediately, which I appreciated. They also had several breakfast options that looked really good. The jalapeño bagel stood out to me, and the veggie bagel sandwich looked tempting too. I just wasn't hungry enough to commit this time, but I'd definitely try one on a return visit. As for the coffee itself, it arrived piping hot, which I love. On first sip, though, it was lighter in flavor than I expected. If you prefer a blonde roast or a milder coffee profile, this might be your spot. I personally tend to gravitate toward a more medium or bold roast, so it didn't quite hit that depth I usually look for. Overall: Atmosphere - great Service - friendly and efficient Coffee strength - lighter than my preference Four stars from me. I'd come back, especially for the vibe and to give the food menu a try next time.
The breakfast sando was hot and fresh! The horchata latte wasn't too milky so you could appreciate the cinnamon flavors. This cafe is located on a church campus.
If you're coming here for breakfast, yes, do that... If you're coming here for coffee, maybe go somewhere else I don't know what it is, but I feel like espresso beans are so hit or miss at mom and pop shops! And these ones are a miss. If you drink a lot of coffee, and you visit a lot of shops, then you know exactly what I mean when I say there are beans are bitter and too acidic and I don't know if they do ice first or if something needed to be calibrated, but my latte also seemed a little watery. I ordered a brown sugar latte and I didn't even finish it I came home an made myself a better latte That being said, I got their OG breakfast sandwich and that was pretty good and I got some blueberry waffle sticks for my daughter and those were also really good.
Yum!! This place was good! We stopped here to work while we were in town and were surprised by how large and pretty the surrounding area was. To our surprise it was a school/church/coffee shop all in one go haha. It was a beautiful location with many places to sit and work in peace. The food was yummy! I thoroughly enjoyed my latte and sandwich. The service was friendly and quick!
This cafe is very easy to spot. Once you approach closer to the area, there are signs where it is in the plaza. There is plenty of parking. The building is huge, almost like a suite. There is plenty of seating outside. Inside, the place has an industrial design to it. It's black and gray, dark. But there is plenty of lighting coming in with the huge windows. There many tables inside as well. There are people working on their laptops or just chatting while enjoying their drink. They have merch like shirts and hats for sale. I saw they had a huge menu written in chalk on the wall and a pastry shelf at the counter. They had cookies and other pastries. They have a specific menus for breakfast and lunch. I noticed they mainly specialize in espresso, since that was all that was on the menu. I chose to order a strawberry macchiato and the jalapeño popper. My total came out to $14. The barista was nice and cordial. I didn't have to wait too long for my items. My strawberry macchiato was really good, made well. And my jalapeño popper was also good. Very delicious. Thank you!
I believe this coffee shop is a part of an evangelical church. There's also a school there. I was beginning to think I was in the wrong spot but finding the signage was simple. There's a ton of parking and the place is immaculate. There was people constantly cleaning and restocking items. They had relaxing music playing and comfortable seating indoors and outdoors. I got the strawberry macchiato and a chicken and bacon pesto sandwich which were delicious and the presentation was great. There's bathrooms straight ahead and to the left. There's a beautiful waterfall outside to sit by and relax and enjoy the sun. I paid $16.50 for the drink and sandwich and it included a bag of chips. Cash brings the price down. I saved about 63 cents.
Coffee flight was very good! They all had a good amount of coffee and sweetness, which I liked.
This is inside the local church. A little hard to find if you don't know where to look. Luckily we came before the rush of people before Sunday service. Not sure if I would come back. It took a really long time for the food (it's more of a coffee place) and it wasn't that great of food IMO. We also picked the waffle sticks and didn't even like them enough to eat them.
I have been to Canvas a few times and meant to do a review sooner but I finally have some time to tell you... It's definitely worth the stop. I also want to say that after experiencing their dinner for two event me and my fiancée will be back for more. The environment is very open and inviting with natural lighting and seating inside and out. It has an industrial feel and they have an even split of comfortable reading, couples, studying , working, and community seating. It's got an industrial feeling but still Vibrant. The service has been pretty amazing every time we have gone and they are very quick about getting your coffee and food. Me and my fiancée attendant one of their date night for two events and the service was above and beyond. The food so I have a had a number of their matcha drinks that have been pretty amazing, one of which was their blueberry matcha. The bagels have been pretty amazing and I believe they make them in house. We had one of their western omelets and it was pretty good, I liked the freshness of the veggies inside and the sauce. As for the dinner for two event me and my fiancée enjoyed our evening very much, we got a flight and I'll say the drink that did it for us was the chi with coconut!!! The focaccia bread was pretty amazing, our second dish was a Cesar salad, it was good, the dressing was made from scratch so and we enjoyed the freshness. Next was chicken with pasta and Alfredo sauce. The pasta was freshly made, we would have like the noodles more al dente but we enjoyed the chicken and the sauce. The final was the tiramisu and it really complemented the meal. Me and my fiancée love too cook and we also had been to Italy so we did have ideas of yall do another Italian night. For the salad do a trio of caprese salad with some balsamic drizzle. The pasted just a little more al dente and add in some red chili peppers flakes. I once did a blue cheese Alfredo that was delicious. For the tiramisu, maybe soak the lady fingers a little longer in espresso and it would have been perfect. Overall canvas is an amazing spot to enjoy a lot of heart and the realized dreams of making some great food and coffee.
5 for the ample seating they had. The drinks were pretty good, nothing out of the world. I got the blueberry matcha which was very good. My friend got the strawberry lemonade, which was not freshly squeezed and too sweet. We call it the del taco lemonade... The service was good and helpful with recommendations. Anyways, very good place to study!
Canvas coffee is a solid coffee spot--plenty of room for seating, which makes it perfect for studying. The menu is large and has many options, including food. Service is always great. I've been here a few times and I always order the vanilla latte. It's delish! The food was great too, the one time I ordered it. Absolutely love studying here. It's quiet and comfortable.
A quick stop while in the area. This cute cafe is located in the Crossroads Church and School in Corona. They offer variety of yummy lattes. Today I get to try their February speciality which is the Rose Latte, it was yumm. Since I had my breakfast prior, I didn't get a chance to grab their yummy looking treats. The staffs are very friendly and they will gladly offer suggestions for you. The place is quaint with plenty of outdoor seating and also work/meeting/study areas inside. Many power outlets are seen to charge your devices. As I was waiting for my order, the line got longer probably by the school students buying their school break treats. Will definitely try other stuffs when I am in the area. read more

5/5 stars. Incredible service, ambience, and tea! I absolutely love it here. The inside is so cozy and decorated for fall / Halloween as well. The employees at the front are super kind and accommodating. I mentioned that it was my first time here and they gave me the best recommendations! The music they play is calming as well. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors too. Amazing experience :) read more
I found this coffee shop by accident I saw that they had coffee flights so I came here because I love the idea of coffee flights and I've tried a few places that offer them. The coffee is located near a church with a ton of parking. The shop itself is pretty large and pretty. This is perfect if you want to come study or do some homework. There is a ton of seating inside and outside, the outside has some fire places which is cool The customer service is lovely. The coffee itself is okay, I felt that some of the flavors were lacking. Overall thoughts Cute shop but the coffee was mediocre read more

I came here at opening on a Friday morning and there was plenty of parking/ seating inside. The atmosphere is super cute with lots of different seating arrangements. I found this place because I've always wanted to try their coffee flights. This item isn't explicitly shown on the menu but don't be afraid to ask about it! The way it works is that the barista will give you a list of flavors to choose from for each of your 4 drinks. From there you can choose a max of two flavors per drink. I had no idea what flavor combinations I wanted so I asked for their recommendation. I ended up getting a 1)pistachio orange 2) Lavender White mocha 3) Strawberry White Mocha 4) coconut caramel all with oat milk. They were also so unique, I genuinely debated getting a full size drink of the lavender white mocha. The total cost of it was around $14 which is a pretty good price considering the 4 drinks seem to add up to about 2 normal sized lattes. I will definitely be bringing any coffee lover friends here! read more

I moved to corona about a year ago and I have been passing by this coffee shop for a year now and I never get the chance to stop by to try it. Well today was the day! Honestly it's super cute! Very cozy, the ambiance is quite lovely as they have the shop decorated for Christmas and it's absolutely heartwarming! I ordered a Carmel macchiato and it's delicious!! The barista was very sweet I didn't catch her name but she was very friendly! Since this place right up the street from my home I'll be coming back More frequently read more

I caught up with a friend over a flight of cold brew today and it was pleasantly delightful :) this was not on the menu, but I saw someone else order it so I knew I had to try! The environments inside and out are quiet and good for conversation. There's also a LOT of parking. The bathrooms were a teeny walk away (at the church), but well kept. The flight itself was a perfect tasting to share and met my strict standard of coffee to cream and sugar ratio! You can taste the distinct flavors and the body was soooo smooth. My favorite was the horchata one. There was one limited edition flavor and we got to pick all four! Summary: great cold brew and solid choice for conversing! read more

We stop here almost every week after church. It's located inside of Crossroads Christian Church. My daughter loves trying out their different holiday/seasonal drinks. I love getting their lavender white chocolate scones. I've also had their citrus chocolate chip scone, but the lavender is my favorite! They come from Crumbles Cookies bakery on Magnolia Ave. I just wish they gave the clotted cream that Crumbles gives you when you purchase at the bakery. My son loves their smores cookies and the Blue milk that they had during May for "May the Fourth be with you" - Star Wars Day. All the baristas are friendly, and it's such a cute spot to hang out and enjoy some coffee and pastries! read more

Great little coffee shop tucked away in a big plaza in a quiet neighborhood. It's located right next to the Crossroads Christian Church and interestingly enough, I'm not sure if the coffee shop is affiliated with them. I stopped by to grab an iced latte to fulfill my caffeine fix and the service was good. The barista was informative about which beverages and pastries were highly recommended. And sure enough, I had my go-to: an iced latte with whole milk. If I'm ever close by in the area, I'll be sure to make a pit stop. read more

What a cute and trendy spot! I got a gingerbread latte with oat milk and my friend I split a coffee cake. Drinks and food came out quickly. Love that they asked if we'd like the pastry warmed up - some places don't do this!! Barista was friendly, they had a couple holiday drinks ready for the season on the menu and a few different pastries to choose from (coffee cake, oatmeal, muffins). The place itself is huge, including the outdoor area with fire pits. I specifically love unique coffee shops and this one was memorable! Well decorated and cozy, with holiday decor and a warm and friendly environment. I highly recommend this spot! Tip: Scan the QR code at the counter for more drink options! They do tell you this, so it's not a secret. read more

what a charming cafe! the horchata latte was true to its flavoring. it was light on the coffee but overall the taste was still noticeable. 9/10 the coffee cake was served warmed up and it was quite a thick piece. loved the layers but it was quite sweet 8/10 baristas were sweet and quick with the order. they were open to menu alternatives as well. 9/10 parking can be tricky since it's close to a church but there was enough seating and space to study inside. but none of the prices were listed on the menu (picture) which was annoying. 8.5/10 for ambiance read more

Drink: mocha cold brew - 4/5; just as you expect. Enough to wake me up to write a paper. Service: 5/5 - I got here at 0730; there were already a couple people here. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Ambiance: 3/5 as a study spot, but 5/5 for socializing. It was quiet until 0830, then it became full of people meeting, kids running around, and moms meeting. If I came here to hang out with friends, it would definitely be a win. Otherwise, for studying, they have free WiFi, plugs, and 2-seater tables perfect for individual studying. Plenty of parking. I'd come back here again, maybe with friends rather than my homework next time. :) read more

The coffee is okay but honestly it should be a crime that they charge $8 something for a piece of bread with avocado. The people are really friendly. Honestly I just recommend you get the coffee the food isn't worth what you're paying. read more

This place is so chill, I love coming here to do homework. There's plenty of seating inside as well as outside, which gives you a great option. Their coffee is pretty good too. I highly recommend trying the strawberry macchiato that's one of my favorites. Though I will admit, I wasn't a big fan of their bagel sandwiches. I haven't tried their pastries, but I've had a couple bagels, which are always nice and toasty read more

The Cold Brew Flight was pretty looking and the place is spacious for studying or to relax. I'm not sure if it's just me but the coffee flavor is just okay. The cold brew plain and horchata latte was enjoyable but the salted caramel didn't have any caramel flavor and the cream on was just thick and didn't go well with the drink. read more

Drinks: I had their Temecula herbal tea and added lemonade, as well as lavender syrup. It was absolutely delicious. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. I also tried their London fog with a lavender syrup pump and substituted the milk for oat milk. It tasted too milky and kind of like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I was not a fan of the London fog. Food: I bought the lavender scone (if you can't tell I love lavender) and it was incredibly delicious! The London fog took a while to make and it seemed like a few people got their drinks before me so they gave me a chocolate chip cookie on the house which tasted homemade, thick, and it was good! They also sell sandwiches and small charcuterie boards/wraps. Wifi: Wifi is free. No lag. Seating/Decor: Ambience is good. They didn't have any music on (not sure why). Seating good for solo or large study groups. They have a ginormous patio too with seating. Chairs comfort level range from tolerable to nice. There is also a fire pit with seating outside. Staff: Very kind. COVID precautions: No staff wore face masks. Majority of their customers did not wear face masks. No hand sanitizer in place for customers to use throughout facility. They did have one hand sanitizer at the cashier for customers and staff. I did not see staff cleaning tables after customers left. The place appeared very clean though. Location and parking: Located inside crossroads church parking lot. I think it's the churches coffee shop. They share a parking lot. Plenty of parking but depending on church events, you might have to park farther than expected. The location is nice. Recommendations for the place: 1. Add a toaster to warm up food 2. Add hand sanitizer stations 3. Increase table wipe down after customers leave 4. Add bigger sizes for drink options (currently only 12 and 16 oz). 5. Add longer hours Overall, great place and will definitely be back! read more
