When I first came into Cantu Graphics, a woman was complaining that her print wasn't ready during the time frame they had promised. I should have taken it as a sign and gone somewhere else but I wanted to support a local business and my first print a few weeks prior went ok. I sent in my second order through their online portal and then called in and explained what I needed - it was a simple job, print 4 pages as laid out in the original document, cut using the trim marks, and bind/staple). I explained that I would not be able to come in and proof it as I'm a working mom and I just wasn't able to come in twice. He said ok and that the print would be ready in two days (their normal turnaround time is 24 hours unless you call after 3). One day later I received a voicemail asking me to come in to proof the print. Even though that wasn't our original agreement I was ok with it because he said he'd print it in 5 mins while I waited. I came in the very earliest I could on Thursday, 5:45pm (they close at 6). I realized that they had only left 15 mins to print the job but they said over the phone they could do it in 5. When I got there I quickly realized they had not followed my instructions (they had incorrectly printed it and failed trim it). I was ok with the incorrect printing but let them know I'd need them to cut it to size. That's when Manny the manager stepped in and told me they printed it according to "how the file was laid out" and furthermore it would be an additional $10 for the cut. I told him the cut was included in the original quote and that they in fact did not follow the layout and asked him to pull it up on the computer so he could see this was the case. Sure enough Manny was wrong but instead of apologizing he blamed me and said they printed it how it was ordered. To the other gentleman's credit, he acknowledged it was his mistake and apologized. Manny went on to say they wouldn't be able to print it until the next day, which didn't work for me as I was unable to come in then. I explained that they promised they could do it in 5 minutes and he said they close in 5 minutes and wasn't willing to print it. I told him that was unacceptable and he laughed at me and told me I needed to "learn how to talk to people." I then left without a print because at the end of the day it was such a simple job I could easily print it at home, which I did. I had just wanted to support a local business and save myself some time. As I read through the negative reviews I realize that there is a common thread: Manny the manager. If you read through his response to one of the negative reviews, you will see that instead of apologizing for delays and mistakes on his part he gives excuses and puts down the customer. read more

Manny was extremely helpful in getting some beautiful prints made. I showed up near closing time on a Saturday, and they made sure everything got done. Prices were good, especially for the rush job. Files were resized to perfection without any guidance, print and paper quality was top notch, with lots of options to choose from. I showed up with a sample and they were able to match the paper very quickly. The edges after trimming to size were sharp and precise, and everything was packaged neatly at pick up. I am a designer and I usually get my printing done at another location, but since this place was down the street from my destination I decided to give them a try. I am so happy that I did. The environment and customer service here is just amazing! I was so happy to have met Kevin, who was helping me out with my order. I had a large order, so I had the chance to observe him with other customers and he is so pleasant and helpful. There was an older woman who wanted to scan and bind photos and he was very patient with her and I am sure she left very happy. Efficient, helpful, and skilled describes Cantu Graphics. I placed an order for invitations, which turned out quite awesome. They look professional and clean. Although the design itself had a minor issue, CG was able to reformat it accordingly. CG also completed the job in one day, maintaining communication with me when any issues arose. All of this makes them stand out from other print shops, especially the larger ones, which charge nearly double or are simply limited in what they can print. For example, before checking out CG, a local corporate print shop had issues printing with the thickness of the paper I provided. In short, I am a happy CG client. We used them to have our wedding tshirts made. They were really friendly and helpful on the phone and their prices were far better then online quotes. They only lost a star because the shirts came 4-5 business days after when they said they would be in and I had to call to find that out. A call to let me know about the delay would have been appreciated. Also, i had to call to check that the shirts had arrived, no one called to tell me they'd arrived. They worked with the images and printed several test runs to be sure they were perfect. These guys were professional and knew what they were doing. They cut the various enclosure cards to the exact sizes needed and worked with us throughout the process. They listened to what we wanted and offered their expertise to help us get there. They answered all the things we didn't know and gave us alternatives and options. And they did it all with amazing customer service and communication. Ordered my friend's bachelorette tshirts to be printed here. There's a great yelp deal! spend $30 for $50 worth of prints. We had black shirts and the bride had a white one. The Cantu graphics guys had recommended that we use white tees, but we decided against it. Although the prints on the white tee did look better, the prints on the black tee still looked great! 9 tshirts came out to around $130 (including the the Yelp deal). We had front and back designs full color. It took about 1.5 weeks to get the tshirts back. Manny was the one who helped me. He had great customer service and feedback. read more
