If your time isn't worth anything and you enjoy waiting while your water turns cold after they say they will be right with you then go here. They start a service then stop and go to someone else just to get as many customers as possible. Thinking you won't get up and leave. I got up and left! They don't care about their customers! Wow ! I was so impressed with this nail salon. They accepted me and my mother even after closing ! They took their time even though they are most likely dying to go home. Only reason they aren't getting 5 stars from me is because every time I go I am there for at least 3 hours. They are always so busy, never enough staff, and the owner just continues to allow people to walk in even though people with appointments are waiting this long. I thought I had found my go to nail place because the techs are all amazing however unfortunately with a 4 month old I am unable to stay away from home that long just to get my nails done. I've been getting nail salon services for 10+years on the regular. I have been nothing but impressed with Canton Nails. The salon is so clean and welcoming, great music and the staff is so friendly and show such great customer service. I never feel rushed or like just a number (even when I have crazy design request) The manager Kayla always speaks and makes sure I'm happy with the services I received. I love the fact it so easy to communicate, and they have a great customer base so the environment is outstanding. Everyone chats with everyone! Well it was time for me to get my manicure on (about twice a year lol) and sure enough my wife and I stumbled upon canton nails and decided to stop in. The decor was decent and what was most impressive was the sanitary level of the place! My wife and I are sticklers for cleanliness and Canton Nails did not disappoint! This place is very clean and the girl doing my nails was very attentive. She didn't try to shove other services down my throat. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was bc they don't use plastic bags to cover the soaking tub which I think prevents a lot of potential infections you can get from a nail salon. I was only visiting the area for a few days but my gel mani pedi was badly grown out. I saw that Canton Nails had some positive reviews on here so I decided to check them out. I called ahead and they said to come on in, they could fit me in. When I got there they were incredibly friendly and even though they were busy they got me into a pedicure chair and started the gel removal process right away, as you know that can take some time. I had two very nice ladies work with me and they did an excellent job. The atmosphere was very relaxing and they new at least 1/2 the people that came in by name! They also had a huge selection of gel polish colors which you don't see everywhere. What a great place! I highly recommend to locals and anyone visiting the area. read more

I've lived just five minutes from this place for a long time and never noticed them until I really needed a full set totally last minute, earlier this year. I am so happy I walked into this place! Andrew has been the one doing my nails for several months now and he never disappoints! If you are looking for the most recent trends in nails at a good price, he's your guy! Guys this place is really bad. Very unorganized. I saw several people started on their treatment then the tech would get up and say they're about to go on break someone will be with them or they'll be right back and it took forever for someone to pick up where they left off. They're all on their phone. I wanted a gel manicure, gel pedicure l, and eyebrow wax. It took so looking for the girl to get the gel off my toes there wasn't time for anything else. Over an hour for a pedicure. They did start to soak my gel off my hands but they left me sitting there with a tone and foil on my fingers so long it hurt. I had to ask the girl doing my pedicure (not the same one that out the foil on my fingers) to take it off. I left with a "pedicure" no gel, the gel off my hands (no manicure,, and no wax. When they told me someone would be over to do my nails I told them I have to leave. They asked why I said I have to go to work (mind you we are going on over an hour!), then she asked me where I work?!?! I just got up, paid, and left. Not sure why this place has the rating it does. Maybe there are a few good techs and those customer left the reviews? It's one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I didn't see one tech in pedicure area finish a customer start to finish. So this place wasn't terrible, but you definitely don't get an overall sense of cleanliness. The towels all looked dirty. The woman working on my nails was cutting them in the pedicure chair with no towel or anything underneath them. Then she just brushed the nail clippings on the floor. I was thinking, what am I sitting on right now? The woman working on my pedicure was super distracted she rarely was paying attention to what she was doing, but more often looking around at other people working there or checking her phone. She had a huge hole in her gloves that her whole thumb came through and she never bothered getting a new pair. One of my nails chipped day one when I took a shower and I was being careful with them. Finally, despite repeating what I wanted three times, the nail techs kept trying to up sell. Don't you want gel? Don't you want this nicer/better pedicure? Nope, kind of just want you to do a decent job with what I asked for. This is my first negative yelp review, but yelp could use a little more accuracy in Canton. read more

I called and scheduled an appointment for four pedicures. When we walked in the prices were posted on the wall. The prices on the wall stated that for gel nails on your toes would cost $10 additional. Before I read this post it on the wall I asked the lady how much gel nails were with a pedicure she said an additional $15. Then when I read the price is posted on the wall I questioned her about them and she told me oh it was a typo it's supposed to be $15 not 10. Then my daughter was sitting there getting her nails done and she tried to tell Somebody that for gel it was an additional $25. I know that we have been shelter in place but this is no way to try and make money by ripping your customers off. Our appointment time was at 1:30 and we got brought back around 155 we did not all get completed with our appointments until after four. My daughter decided to change her mind and get a manicure instead of a pedicure they strong-armed me into getting S & S nails even though this is more expensive than the option I wanted to take. I asked for them to put a design on my toe. I requested a starfish. What they drew look like a pentagram. They ended up removing it because it looked terrible my daughters nails that are S & S have bubbles all in them. My sister asked for two hearts to be put on her big toe and they look like two blobs. And they do not look good at all. And my other daughter got white toenails with blue accent on them and they also look terrible. When we ask them questions about could they do this on our nail or that on our nail they acted like today was their first day at work. I will never go back. Between the four of us we spent over $200 and walked out very dissatisfied. read more

I had been coming in for a manicure with Kimi a few times and she always did a wonderful job. This time when I asked for Kimi I was told that she no longer worked there and they suggested Amy. That was ok. Amy fell far short of what I had been having done. She left them longer than what I wanted and did not remove all of the hangnails on many of the fingers. I just happened to notice this new nail salon this afternoon when I was deciding that I needed a pedicure! It's located in the same shopping center as Dollar Tree and ALDI, but is on the other side, next to the Herb Store. The staff was very friendly and not at all snooty. The decor was calming and spa-like, including the treatment rooms. The prices were good and everything was very clean. I got a "Callous Buster" pedicure with exfoliation added and a lip wax. I was helped by Anna and she was very nice and took very good care of me. The leg and foot massage was one of the best I've ever had during a pedi. They have a menu just for pedicures that includes more than their regular brochure and they have a lot of nail and lash services I've never even heard of (I'm a Plain Jane kind of girl...) Anyway, give this place a try. I hope they last because the whole experience was very nice. read more
