My favorite Chinese food place in Augusta. They give you mounds of food at an incredible price. Some might say it is a little bland ( you can add a little soy sauce to your liking or add chef to modify your " saltiness" in your order) however some dishes are down right delicious. If you like lo mein anything this is your place! Their boneless ribs and chicken terriyaki are delicious. You get some char pieces in the boneless ribs and those my fav pieces. There a smokiness and char to it. There is an all day lunch menu definitely bang for your buck . Give them a try. And again support your local businesses. read more

Tonight we ordered almost $60.00 worth of food and it was barely worth $6.00. One meal didn't come with the pork fried rice that was part of the order which I guess was okay because the other meal was a combo and the rice in that meal was pasty and flavorless. The Pea pods & Szechuan beef that were ordered were drowning in the same flavorless brown sauce. No spice at all. One of the most disappointing meals I have ever had from this establishment. The quality of food has been going down over the past few years but this was the end for me. Very sad. read more

I have always enjoyed the food. I am a regular customer for as long as they have been in Augusta. However , no one at the store wanted to deal with me today. I asked for the woman that took my order so I would know she knew what I was talking about. This is not a complaint I only want to make someone aware even if it won't change anything. He put her on the phone in with the bother clear in his tone. She came to the phone I tried to repeat this is not really a complaint just a making someone aware call. She almost went to tears and abruptly laid the phone down and I was left with no idea what this was about. He returned to make a much longer story shorter. They have changed the size of the boxes therefore servings. That is fine but? the customer needs to be made aware if it prior to spending the same amount of money for less food. I planned for what I received just a month ago it was not the same much much less food. The cashew chicken has two piece of chicken. I didn't ask for them to do anything but to be aware of the frustration it might cause the customer Yes meaning me. I am unlikely to return not because the changes but because the way the "self described Assistant Manager" spoke to me. Nothing did he hear really. He was done before he started . Got delivery.....worst Chinese food ever. Everything was heavily dough laden and the meat included was minimal...got General Tso and Chicken fingers......just terrible. The crab rangoon was supposed to have faux crab but was nothing but cream cheese. Not Cheap and just not worthy of eating. I ate the rangoon . 40 bucks down the drain. Service...delivery...good. I think that they do not make their food..it comes in 50 pound sacks and they just drop it in the fryolater. Do not waste your money read more

We are new to the area and were looking for a "go to" Chinese Restaurant. Most times when you tell a restaurant that this is your first time in their establishment they try and put their best foot ( or food) forward, Well this place has 2 club feet! The food was mediocre to horrible. General's chicken tasted like it was cooked way ahead of time and then recooked when ordered, was very 'crunchy' inside and the out side coating was mushy and tasteless. The fried shrimp looked impressive but was a tiny shrimp in a huge amount (about 2" thick) of dry batter. The pork fried rice had no pork or vegetables and was so dry it tasted like it had been sitting around a long time. The Chow Mien was just a pile of sprouts and a tasteless white sauce with a very few tiny pieces of chicken. The steamed dumplings had a tasty filling but the dough was 1/2 inch thick and very chewy. The eggrolls were ok, nothing special, tasted like the ones you can buy frozen at Sam's Club. All in all was a disappointing meal. So this is definitely NOT our "go to" Chinese Restaurant read more

This was a disappointing experience. We had high hopes because the place was really busy but.. the Lo Mein tasted like either the noodles were stale or the oil they used was old.. I ordered egg drop soup which is normally just little bits of egg in a thickened chicken broth, but for some reason they added frozen or canned peas, corn, and mushrooms to it. Anyway it looked good but it tasted overwhelmingly like peas, which was not pleasant. The sweet and sour pork was just dry breaded pork nuggets. Nothing sweet or sour about it. Not even a drop of sauce. The Generals Chicken was extremely chewy - almost like the chicken was precooked then reheated in the sauce when ordered. The crab rangoons were delicious but its kind of difficult to mess those up. Unless you're looking for them to contain any trace of crab. They didn't. But I love a good cream cheese rangoon so that was ok with me lol. it was also the only thing that was fully consumed. Everything else went in the garbage. $65 worth of bad food. sad. read more

Ordered some food on Christmas and they told us the menu was limited and they said we had to order all large portions, we only wanted a few items and they wanted to charge us almost $100 for it. Not impressed at all and will not be going back. We canceled the order at they tried calling us on multiple numbers and harassed us. This place is not a good place to order on the holidays unless you want to pay way more and be harassed. We went to Great Wall buffet and actually ordered more for a lot less. This place used to be our favorite. Last couple times ordering the food tastes much different. Also, last three times we've ordered they refuse to give you more than one small(maybe 2tbls) duck sauce per order. This is a deal breaker for us since we love duck sauce with our Chinese food. I ordered a pu pu for two and everything was great until I opened the rice to include it with my meal and I found out they gave me white rice, I looked up what comes in a pu pu for two I got everything else but it was supposed to come with pork fried rice not white rice, so not happy . I ordered the Cashew Chicken which is supposed to have an assortment Of vegetables AND CASHEWS - and I received the following - 1/2 pea pod 1 small carrot square 1 mini mushroom 2 baby corn 7 cashews 10 pieces of chicken And about 40 pieces of celery The overall flavor was good - the portions are about normal for a take out Chinese restaurant - if you want 80% of your meal to be celery? but the prices are a little steep. Most consistent of the Chinese places in the area in my opinion. Super fast & friendly delivery, fresh items, could easily communicate with staff. If you have a southern pallet or come from a place that serves more traditional Chinese food you just may find this place to lack flavor. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered on New Years Eve was told no substitutions on a pupu platter. Okay, that's fine. It's a busy night, we understand. Also ordered a large beef teriyaki. Start eating as we drive home... give two kids a chicken teryaki, think it's weird they put chicken and beef teriyaki in the same bag. Hubby wants beef teryaki, whoops they made a mistake and gave us a large order of chicken teryaki. Go back to Canton. Explain what happened. They take back the partial bag of chicken teryaki then paw through the pupu platter to take out the 2 chicken teryaki that came with our order to replace in the bag. Then give us a large order of beef teryaki. No apologies. Terrible service. We understand mistakes are made especially on a busy night! But terrible service? That's inexcusable. Not to mention why would they possibly want the chicken teryaki back when they see on their order slip they made the mistake and they can't legally give it to another customer? Food is decent for augusta, but they have difficulty processing orders and projecting professionalism. this has happened twice now. Recently, they forgot to process the order i placed. More than once there have been kitchen/ reception melodramas in full display of the customers. One was a teenage eye-roller, frustrated by somebody else right behind the register. Typical Americanized Chinese food. The quality and portions are a step above the rest. I'm always pleased with what I get. They have seating but it's definitely a take out joint. An old man recommended this Chinese restaurant to us. Wow! I am old myself and have eaten a lot of Chinese. :) It was the best I have ever had. The egg roll was Texas sized, the ribs weren't all bone and fat but pure tasty meat, and the sweet and sour chicken was big pieces of meat and not all batter. Every thing hot. Their food is gross the rice is dry the ribs are burnt or so undercooked you can eat them.. Half the time there's no egg roll place just disgust me it is most definitely gone downhill and I have most recently just made a huge complaint with the Better Business Bureau the owner Quan was very rude very ignorant and very quick to judge I picked up my order went to my car looked at everything there was no rice with my v20 and there was no sauces so I went in with my receipt and my order and ask for the egg roll and sauces he's straight looked at me and said we gave that to you you not stealing from us!! I brought in my order and everything my receipt I was just in there Less Than 3 minutes before that how am I stealing? Food is good, yes; BUT, management attitude needs a serious adjustment. To explain: my roommate's faith forbids her from eating pork so, when pork fried rice was delivered with an order in place of plain rice, she rang and explained the problem. The owner not only refused to make good on the mistake but was extremely surly and rude. We have never ordered from his restaurant again and shall not in future, which is a shame because the food is tasty and we routinely have a Chinese meal delivered every week or two. read more
