Of the three Mexican restaurants we've been to recently, this was the most disappointing. Chips and salsa were very good. Kid's chicken fingers were good also. Not much else was - ranging from just acceptable to inedible. Tough, poorly flavored, greasy, whatever - multiple dimensions of not-good. Margaritas were fine ... I will mention that there was very helpful lady whose job seemed to be replenishing the (very good) chips and salsa - she really kept them coming! Two stars for the chips and salsa and the chips and salsa lady. read more

We really enjoyed the food and the salsa was very unique. We had a great waitress who kept our drinks full and explained the menu perfectly. We'll definitely be returning. read more

A friend who is a regular to Branson recommended to me Cantina Laredo for the best Mexican food. So as you can imagine my expectations were pretty high. I'm happy to report this place did not disappoint, and I left very happy and had an amazing time. First, its located right in the heart of the Landing Shopping and entertainment district, which is perfect for walking around, people watching, window shopping, and other fun activities like zip lines (maybe do this before you stuff yourself full of burritos). The restaurant itself is located right on the river with a large patio for great views of the water. The interior is clean with a warm and lively atmosphere. The staff were super attentive and friendly. As for the food: The chips were delicious and I ate an entire basic to myself. The salsa was legit and tasted like it was freshly made. I even used the salsa on my rice and beans, which were average and bland. The steak in my burrito was of high quality and the table side guacamole was so good and quickly consumed. I also had a strawberry Margarita which was sweet but boozy and tasted great. Overall I loved this place and would highly recommend it. read more

Freaking YUM! Let's start off with atmosphere..... one word, perfection. Choose to either sit inside in the cool or outside next to the river with a wonderful breeze. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the foundations , watching the boats go by and the zip liners go up and down across the river. The chips are homemade and delicious! The hot sauce is probably one of the best I have ever had! The kids ordered chicken strips and fries. It came with a hardy portion of queso too! I ordered the chicken tacos and hubby ordered the regular tacos. Both plates were amazing and we left nothing on them. Highly recommend this place! read more

Have been here a few times and it's always been great! We took my cousins when they were in town--my cousin lived in Mexico for over a decade (and has also been a chef for many years) and his wife is from Mexico, and they both endorsed the food as well! The last time I went, I ordered the chicken and mango tacos and those were quite good...needed just a little like for extra flavor on top was all to make them *chefs kiss.* If you like hot salsa, ask for something hotter than what they bring automatically! read more

This place is delicious! The salsa is so worth the visit. We've been in Branson a week and went twice. The kids also enjoyed an apple pie and scarfed it down! We had fajitas, nachos, a burrito and for appetizers we had top shelf guacamole and queso. No complaints were had by anyone in our party. Go check it out, if you like Tex-mex you won't be sorry. read more

The food was fantastic. Sort of an elevated, intimate and romantic atmosphere. The outdoor seating with a view of the water is awesome and they have heaters for when it gets a bit colder! read more

Great Mexican spot on the water in Branson Landing. I met some colleagues here for dinner a couple of nights ago. The patio is a nice spot overlooking the water and the cove in Branson Landing. Service was excellent. I had the chicken fajita burrito and it was awesome. I highly recommend this spot for dinner and drinks if you are at Branson Landing, and definitely sit on the patio if the weather is nice. read more

Zach is a great! He needs a raise and a vacation! He's great at conversation. He's the best you could ever have. He is exceptional.

We went here about 6:45 on a Friday where the wait was long! We chose to sit at the bar and had wonderful service! Sometimes, when we choose to sit at the bar the bartenders aren't thrilled bc we don't drink. We don't live in MO so we were surprised families with SMALL KIDS crowded up to the bar. Kids aren't allowed to even walk THROUGH the bar area where we're from so seeing the party beside us, 6 adults sharing 4 barstools with 3 children a surprise. Glad we were almost finished when they crammed in bc in just a few minutes it was quite a scene! This is why I'm goving 4 stars not 5. Not bc MO slows children in bars, literally tippy cups beside well drinks... but seriously. The hostess or someone should've said. It's 7:45 pm on a Saturday. You need to wait for a table for 6-8 and not crowd out all the ADULTS around you! Finished the vent because the bartenders were amazing! Such terrific service. I had the ahi tuna taco appetizer and it was so perfect! We also had the queso/quac combo and it was just ok. Recommend one or the other instead bc the table side quac is much better. We also had the flautitas appetizer and I hear they were absolutely perfect. No idea about these items on the reg menu but we were there before 7 so still happy hour! Wonderful! Try it for yourself! read more

Totally recommend this restaurant if your having a taste for Mexican food in the Branson area. Not only is the food great you can also have an amazing view of you sit outside. The chips and salsa are so tasty. This place is vegetarian friendly which is nice. I got the spinach, mushroom and cheese enchiladas which is I totally recommend. Great portions and the servers are very kind. read more

Service was terrible, food was just ok. Prices are high. Server couldn't get anything correct. Just not a good experience. Have been here before and it was top notch. Not sure if it changed hands or what but it's not what it was. read more

The food is just bland. I got the chicken enchiladas and it's basically chicken rolled up in a flour tortilla with a small amount of sauce on the outside, no cheese and no flavor. The sangria margarita was pretty good and the atm near the river is nice. read more

The chips and salsa were fantastic. Our server was wonderful. I tried the ahi tuna tacos. It's an appetizer. The menu didn't mention cilantro on the meal. The waitress said it didn't have cilantro, however it was full of it. She did take it back but they only scraped it off the top. I can't stand cilantro. That was the only downside of this restaurant. My husband had beef enchiladas and loved them. read more

Food is good. The service is mediocre. The music is incredibly loud. You cannot even hear the person next to you.

Salas at the beginning delicious, the highlight of the whole meal. Enchiladas tasted unbaked and were cold. Guac made at the table needed salt. Then another meal in are party was so salty it was inedible. Women's bathroom filthy and toilets leaking. They did take two meals off the bill but will not be back. read more

Came here on a recommendation. We had a tuna taco appetizer which was excellent. My wife had the grilled chicken quesadilla burrito which was huge and very tasty. I had 3 different tacos for the Taco Tuesday special $2 each. I chose the Mahi Mahi taco, Chicken with papaya and avocado for the second, and the grilled steak for the third. Added a side of rice and beans and was set. All of the tacos were great. Place was not crowded and had a view of the water. Service was decent, but they didn't give me my card back at the end, and had to come back and get it. read more

I hate giving less than 5 stars on places I really enjoy but I wasn't impressed with my server. We really just came in for Happy Hour drinks and stayed for some appetizers. I ordered their signature Casa Rita, so good, and a beer. We ordered the Queso and Guacamole Combo. It was good, but nothing like their made at your table. Our server was training a new employee so maybe that's why he seemed distracted... read more

Usually when I go here the food is ok, not great but not bad, however the tacos are disgusting.

Love Cantina! Sit outside and watch the show at the top of the hour. It's beautiful! Excellent service, food always amazing!

I've been here many years ago the menu has shrunk and had very little to choose from which we are finding is happening most places since covid. The salsa and queso dip were both exceptional snd the chips were light snd still warm. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were filled with shredded white chicken breast and covered with a white pablano cream sauce. Husband had the beef quesadilla which was huge and very tasty. Service was great as well. I would recommend. read more

We were in Branson for national dance competition and stayed at the Branson Landing Hilton. Tried to eat at restaurants we don't have in OKC. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server almost immediately. Service was wonderful. Food arrived hot and delicious. I always try to make it to Cantina Laredo on every Branson visit. The food is so good and the staff is exceptional! This visit I ordered the chicken nachos. They are not the traditional nachos I'm used to as they are served on tostada shells but I liked that they were different! Each portion was layered with beans, cheese, chicken, and cilantro, I added sour cream on the side and also topped a few with the queso we ordered as an appetizer. Couldn't recommend these more. The bowl of queso was huge. Its without a doubt the best queso I've ever had, I could've ate it all by myself! Prices here are very affordable! For our party of three with queso, entrees and sodas it was around $65. I can't wait to go back this fall and enjoy their patio! read more

We are locals and go here all the time. This time not to happy. We ordered the chicken fajita and chicken was very bland, no seasoning at all. But the soft shell flour tortillas were not good at all. They were hard and could not even fold them. So will probably go to little hacienda in hollister. Great food!!! Also ask for their hot salsa WoW!! Knocks a punch! read more

We were immediately seated & our waiter was only a minute behind to take our drink order. We both chose the enchilada dinner. Our food was delicious and served in only a few minutes. The only wait we had was to allow our the food to cool enough to eat. Highly recommend. read more

Visited this evening. Service was great. Our orders were taken quickly and food came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The salsa had a good flavor, but it was so thin it barely coated the chips. I ordered the traditional tacos. The meat was seasoned well. The beans and rice had no flavor. I had to dig the tacos out from under a huge pile of chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, which was a little sloppy. I would not recommend the traditional tacos. I got a taste of the grilled skirt stake. It was delicious. Ambiance-very loud. It was impossible to carry on a conversation without almost yelling. I'll give them another chance, but tonight was disappointing. read more

My dad and I came here for lunch around 1pm on a Saturday and it was busy outside because the weather was good. We sat outside and had a view of the river and a somewhat okay view of the water/fire show that was probably every hour. Our hostess and waitress were nice and friendly. The outside area were all covered, but it was still hot in some areas because of the patio cover absorbed the sun's heat which was very warm/hot beneath it. I decided to order something different and went with an all-vegetarian dish. It was the Enchiladas de Espinaca ($11.99) and I was debating whether to order that or something with chicken in it. I believe my dad ordered the Relleno de Camarones ($16.49). The complementary chips and salsa were good. The hot salsa was a little spicy and some wouldn't like it, but I thought it was better than the normal salsa. I must have had spicy salsa still left on my tongue as I couldn't taste the normal salsa unless that was how it was supposed to be. The food came out quickly and the presentation of the dish looked good to me. I liked the mushroom in it as well as the spinach. The sour cream poblano sauce added to the flavor and I thought it complemented everything else. I tried some of my dad's Relleno de Camarones and it was tasty. The portion was right for one person and I wasn't really full after finishing everything. I ate some more chips and salsa to fill me up some. This place had good Mexican food and would check it out if you're wanting some Mexican food in Branson. read more

Good food and service. We went during the boat races last year and really enjoyed being outside on the deck.

first time here and im from Chicago , i have to say these tacos was pretty darn close to tasting just like at home . plus you get your own separate salsa bowl with your chips . no need to share lol . i tried a mango-pineapple pico de gallo with chipotle aioli and carne asada . i definitely recommend if you want some really fantastic tacos . also there plenty of shops nearby , fun stuff to do ams the river right there with a water show ! read more

BRANSON HAS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN, NOT THIS!! take ur money to Tequila's, Aranda's Tacos, or Casa Fuentes , not here. They are dirty corporate, the waitstaff is very inattentive, and food is over priced compared to EVERYWHERE else in Branson. Food is generic and has no authentic flavor, it's like a Michelin Taco Bell Do yourself and your whole family a favor and go literally anywhere else, you'll have a better meal than this garbage. read more

The Blueberry Marg was good but super sour! The location is fun and we sat outside which was beautiful. The food was okay. We visited the Cantina on Cinco de Mayo and we had a blast! The food was yummy and the drinks were cheap and tasty. I ordered the Veracruz enchiladas. The filling was yummy, but I wasn't a huge fan of the corn tortillas that they were wrapped in - they were slightly soggy to me, but the meal was overall very flavorful. The refried beans were black beans, not pinto beans, which made for an interesting texture but good. Rice was cooked well. We got complementary chips and salsa. This salsa was the star of the show! It was thinner and runnier but soooo flavorful. Can't wait to come back! read more
