Very disappointed the one In Huntsville,al near my home closed so when I saw this one I was very excited unfortunately that was short lived when I arrived I requested the patio that was deserted one table was occupied the restaurant was at best 1/2 full and the 3 people at the host stand advised and hour plus wait. I am sorry I know every place is short staffed but when you have 3-4 staff manning a host station and telling guest there's an hour plus wait for drinks and apps there something wrong read more

Our last night at Table Rock Lake we went to Cantina Laredo. The place is nice and has a view of the water and the fire show at the landing if you sit on the window or outside. The interior is simple but nice. There is a big bar in the center. Our party was four people and we had three different entrees. My wife and I split the combo fajitas - our daughter had a fish special - and her friend had the carne asada taco plate. The beef was tough and cut to thick making it chewy. Some of the chicken in the fajitas was under cooked and could not be eaten. There was not enough guacamole and so we asked for more and got charged $3.50 for about two table spoons full. My daughter did really like her fish but did not enjoy the side items. The salsa and chips brought before the meal were top notch. My wife had one margarita and I had a coke The service was 8 on a 10 point scale. Unfortunately, both my wife and I got ill after the meal. Not good! The cost with tip was $81.00. Will we return. Probably not following this experience. Would we recommend CL? in fairness we have had several better experiences eating eating at CL so its hard to tell you not to go. Maybe this was a aberrant experience? I'd say beware and approach with caution. read more

Excellent everything. Chips and salsa get an A+. Fajitas were great. Great ambiance and waitstaff.

Trey did an amazing job of waiting tables while tending bar. Very attentive service and excellent food. Great atmosphere. I enjoyed the spinach mushroom enchiladas. read more

Favorite place to eat in Branson by far. Most of the time when we are down here we will stop in for lunch then maybe come back in a couple hours just to get dessert. Great quesadillas, enchiladas, tamales and of course you have to get the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. read more

Cantina Laredo - No words can describe it. - Mexican Near Me - Branson, Missouri

Nice upscale-ish Mexican restaurant with patio seating available that overlooks the fire-and-water fountain display. It was peaceful outside, where we ate, and fun to watch the fountain show from there. Inside, as we walked through to leave, was completely full and very loud - while still nice/upscale, a completely different atmosphere. Service was good. Our water was pleasant and helpful in pointing out details of the dishes to help us decide what to order. Empty dishes were cleared promptly, and drink glasses were frequently refilled. I enjoyed the food quite a bit. My carnitas (braised pork shanks topped with chipotle-wine sauce) were highly tender and had a good strong flavor of spices throughout the meat. I believe the waiter said they are brined. The sauce was something different than the typical chain places, and a nice complement to the meat. I got four good-sized shanks, along with typical rice and a nice zucchini based veggie side. The wife's chicken fajita tacos were just what you would expect, but prepared well. I at one of the taco shells, which was about the softest corn tortilla I had ever had. Rice and refried black beans were the sides. The beans were pretty good, and a nice change from pinto. Daughter's vera cruz enchiladas were typical, but again were prepared well. I liked how the spinach wasn't overpowering and not limp/soggy in the enchilada. Rice and zucchini were the sides. Tortilla chips slices and a crumbled white cheese topped the enchiladas. We split a flan for dessert. It was tasty, if typical. Regardless, a good choice. read more

Friend and I were just n Branson for a conference. Been eating hotel conference food. On the last day we skipped out on a class and went looking for some good food. Our walk on the landing brought us to Cantina Laredo. What a wonderful lunch. The food was fresh and original. Friend had a Casa Rita swirl and I had a Cantina Mule. My first cantina mule was a simple margarita. When I complained the waitress, without complaint, had a manager remake the drink and it was excellent. Salsa was delicious and the chips were super thin and crispy. Atmosphere was wonderful. I will definitely come back here on my next visit. read more

This place is pretty darn good. While not traditional Mexican food the fresh flavors and presentation are much better than I was expecting. The skirt steak was awesome and the other dishes my family ordered were quite tasty as well. While we understand that everyone is short staffed lately I didn't feel that the wait times or services was unreasonable. Mihaelah was our waitress and she was on top of everything very friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations for our family. This would have been a four star review but she set it over the top with the fifth star. Great job to the cantina Laredo team. read more

I have been to several Cantina Laredo's - Dallas, Boulder, Frisco and now Branson. For a chain, they do an excellent job of being consistent with service and food. Don't miss the guacamole, made fresh at your table. Fun to watch, very fresh and tasty. They serve their chips with two salsas, one is a smokely chipotle the other is more spice. All are fresh. I like the skirt steak at lunch, which they must beat to death in order to make it so tender. And, when instructed, they can make it very rare. The stuffed chicken breast at dinner is also fabulous, along with the tortilla soup and ceviche. read more

The chips and salsa is top tier, they have friendly service, highly recommended please try

Exceeded expectations. Our server was attentive, food was fast and excellent. My husband was a bit cautious, but loved it. He got the chicken tacos, and I got the fish tacos and a Blue Moon bottle (our server brought me a glass with an orange slice, which I really appreciated). We ate ourselves silly. Salsa was great as well. read more

Service was good, but food was lacking. Table side guacamole was good but the, fish tacos and sides were under seasoned. Then the chips were stale not much crunch. Not worth the price. read more

We dined here on a Friday evening at prime dinner time. We're able to walk right in and get an indoor table (despite the crowd). Appreciated the chips and delicious salsa - mild & medium. Decided to try the margarita (horrible had to be sent back) and golden sangria (amazing)! The table side guac was perfection and worth the price tag. Our entrees came out quickly and were delicious - tacos de fajita, kids mini tacos and 3 types of enchiladas. The food was awesome! The only down side was the waiter - he was extremely unfriendly and had an unpleasant " I don't want to be here" attitude. Bummer. Nothing like someone glaring at you while they make your table side guac...... Would have given 5 stars if the service had been better. We will be back. read more

Staying at the Hilton across the street, I was looking for a good lunch option. The Cantina was the perfect choice. The Branson area is chock full of chains and less-than-fresh eateries. Cantina offers a good mix of fresh and affordable menu options. I customized their Carne Asada dish and the waiter was more than accommodating and even offered up some good suggestions. Carne Asada, grilled onions/zucchini and a fresh tomato slice. Ordered up a side of guacamole and it was a fantastic lunch choice. Only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the side of guacamole clearly being pre-made and having tinges of brown on it. The avocado slices served with my meal were also very unripe (hard, flavorless). I'd highly recommend if you're looking for something other than Branson's fast-casual chains. read more

This is one of my favorite places that we tried in Branson. We sat at the bar and ate so we just got some appetizers and drinks but the atmosphere was great and the service was great and the food that we saw being carried by us all looked amazing. We've heard from other people that this was a great spot, so we were really glad that we tried it. It's right next to the fountains at Branson landing. The reviews on this place...? Lived up to the hype. It's very busy but the food was phenomenal. Their award winning margarita wasn't the best, it was however filled with plenty of alcohol. The rice with corn and lime was amazing. The steak that came with it was even better. Do not go at peak time though unless you want to wait. read more

Best Margaritas. Period. Cantina-Rita frozen swirled was just what we needed after traveling all day! My 3rd time at CL over the past 10 years was less than exciting. The free chips had no salt and tasteless. Ordered chicken enchiladas and spouses ordered impossible tacos. The beans and rice sides to my enchiladas were 7 out of 10, okay but nothing special--everything needed salt, and I don't ever add salt unless I have to. While the menu description of the enchiladas was technically correct, I expected that the chicken would have had something done to it--even simple salt and pepper seasoning, cooked in a little onion, something. Nope, it was (I think canned) chicken and that was it!! The impossible tacos had good flavor in the "meat" but the tortillas were basically raw. Food was 2 stars, great server earned the 3rd. read more

The attitude of the waiter/waitress is always a big influencer of my review. Our waiter didn't seem to be very happy to be at work. The food was fair. As we were leaving I heard there was a 45-60 minute wait despite there being at least a dozen empty tables. read more

Food is pricey but good always have the same problem with happy hour specials and Taco Tuesday. I have been in several times for happy hour and the Taco Tuesday. Always have a problem getting the specials expescially the Taco Tuesday. The managers always argue that it doesn't exist after arguing today with the wait staff and manager I showed them their own Facebook page advertising it the manager said she would honor it this time but he has no knowledge of this ever existing. I chose to skip Taco Tuesday today. I will choose the Springfield Missouri location they'd never have a problem read more

The one on the Branson landing has an awesome view of the water in the giant patio, I def prefer that to the bar where we had to sit for happy hour and stare at the wait staff anyway yes great food with decent staff, don't expect to be treated kindly but at least they bring good food to eat read more

Honestly this has been the best Americanized Mexican place I've been to. The fajita was really good, the chips were pretty basic the salsa was pretty pretty average maybe a tad bit above average the service though was pretty bad our waitress was horrible everytime she passed our table it seemed like she was in a rush everywhere she went. When she was attending us she wasn't patient and wasn't much help overall because of the food I'll give it a solid 4/5 experience read more

Every time we come to Branson, this is our first stop! Great atmosphere, kid friendly, and awesome View of the fire/water show at the Branson Landing. If you come, be sure to try the beef fajitas! The marinated steak, onions, and peppers make sweet love on a sizzling, cast iron, fajita platter. Wrap them together in a warm, homemade tortilla and experience pure, tender, bliss! Mmm! You have to try the top shelf guacamole, made table side. They will make it to your liking and will include/exclude anything you request. Service was fast and friendly. Super accommodating to requests and kept the refills coming! Soda is perfectly calibrated. Best Diet Coke "burn" in town! Landis was our waitress today and was wonderful! read more

They had a strong start when they opened. But everything has seemed to slowly go down-hill. today I paid $9 for a salad made of shredded iceberg lettuce, a few black beans, few pieces of chicken...and my chicken had a bone in it.
