Come to find out there was a tree branch growing beside my chimney and every time the wind blew it was hitting my cap and eventually knocked it off. This was also affecting my neighbor because her chimney cap was smashed to one side because of that same tree branch. I had Brandon show my neighbor the pictures so she would not light a fire in her fireplace because of the tree branch up there that could catch fire. She had actually seen my chimney cap one day on the ground, picked it up and saved it. Brandon asked if he could see it.
