I gave Idaho Roofing Contractors a call to ask if they did roofing inspections before making my final payment to the company that did our roof. They said they would be happy to come out and do an inspection for me. They were extremely communicative and Chris Newton showed up at 2:00 just as scheduled. He walked around the house with me. Explained what looked good and what could have been done differently but was still ok. After a half an hour he said he was going to get out his drone out to see places we couldn't from the ground and snap photos. We then reviewed all the photos and I got a thorough roofing education, much appreciated! I don't know if they normally spend so much time for a free inspection, but regardless, Chris spent an hour with me and the roof and it didn't cost me anything. No sales pitch or request for me to write a review. I wanted to write a review because I wish I had found them instead of the other company I used. I was blown away that they would be so generous when they knew coming in there was likely no immediate financial benefit for them. From everything Chris explained about how detailed they are and how they take photos of every stage of a roofing project, I think anybody would be well off to use this company. Everyone we have met from Metal Man have been fabulous - helpful, professional, attentive to detail, and it is clear that they all take a great deal of pride in their product. Ryan and Bill came out and did an assessment of our old roof. They took the time to go over the assessment and educated us about the various options for roof replacement. When we decided a metal roof was the way we wanted to go, they made the process so easy, even with the added challenge of having solar panels to contend with! Bill worked with the solar company to arrange the removal, and as soon as solar panels were down the Metal Man crew showed up on site. Damon and his team were so friendly, professional, and considerate. Before leaving each day, they did a full walk around to make sure there were no rogue nails or other debris - which is huge when there are pets or kids! Damon and his team had a couple of obstacles to work around (a solar tube and the wiring boxes for the solar panels) but despite the added challenges they were able to craft a beautiful product. When the roof was finished, they did a full walk around with us to make sure every rivet was in place and that we were pleased. I have to say the craftmanship is truly impressive. When it came time to reinstall the solar panels, Metal Man was on site to ensure the reinstall was done properly and would not compromise our brand new forever roof. This was huge, demonstrated how much they stand behind their work and the quality and durability of their metal roofs.
