Arrived at the location, reviewed and sign the waiver, picked up the equipment, super quick and easy. Was easy to get the tubes that were not inflated, a pump, helmet and life vest. This is my first time doing it and it was super simple and a lot more relaxed and fun then I thought it was going to be. These tubes are way better than the ones from the park. Well in the Gorge we actually saw one of the black tubes burst and a poor lady had to piggyback onto another tube. Great experience, five star for sure for these guys! Keep up the great work!

They stock the normal fishing equipment but they also carry electronics, ice fishing gear, fly fishing gear, a limited selection of apparel, and live bait. They have knowledgable and friendly staff as well. If you live in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, this is a good store for you to check out the next time you need gear.

Seriously, if they cant get two brand new bikes working, heaven help you if you brought them in one that was actually damaged to fix. My fiancé and I just finished our stay at Valens yesterday. Will have to say, was very…read moredisappointed.. first, we could not swim during our entire stay due to the ecoli. Second, there was no actual office at all, only for staff. And this was only discovered after my fiancé walked the entire road down there from our campsite. Third, the food truck was extremely expensive, the food didn't taste very good at all, and the beach store was closed the whole time. Fourth, because we were next to the washrooms, we could hear the bathroom doors slamming closed all night long, and people talking, all past quiet hours. Fifth, the firewood they sell at the camp store doesn't burn at all and we could only start a fire by buying firestarters.. Lastly, there is no proper sidewalk for pedestrians to walk if you do not have a car or bike, so it felt very unsafe... The best part in all this was the camp store and the showers. Showers were close to the campsite walking distance which is really nice and the camp store was open great hours and had everything. All in all, I don't think we would be camping here again. It was nothing like we expected.

At the campground, the lots for trailers are a nice size and have electricity hook ups. They have a metal fire pit too. There is a nice field to play anything you want at plus bathrooms with showers at both ends. There is a store selling goods plus wood, but it closes early, even on a Saturday. It's pitch black at night with no lighting so make sure you bring a flashlight. Enjoy!
