My family has bought over 10 bikes and countless parts from them over the past 6 years, and we have been nothing but happy. I think of the head mechanics Nils has moved on, and same with another guy, so I cant comment on the mechanic service. However, every used bike I have purchased from them has preformed better than expected. All the shifting has been locked in and honed. These guys have an amazing ability to source parts from anywhere, and carry a wide range of bikes. That being said, their specialty is bmx, dirt jumping, park riding, etc. Don't bring your Durace 9000 here, because the mechanics probably dont work on that very often. The walls of this warehouse are smeared with bikes from all eras. Penny Farthigs, retro bmx, track bikes, everything you can think of. It is very neat! The only downside to this place is the chaos. In the summer you better be prepared to wait because the shop is tremendously busy, and there is no organization or "lines", just first come, first served. If you take your time and wait for a worker, they should set you up properly. This could be disorienting if you are not used to it, and you might feel ignored. But this is just the norm here.

This place completely and utterly destroyed my bike. I brought mine in for a simple tuneup, and they called me to suggest changing the pedals. I agreed. And within 1 hour of my first bike ride the pedals slowly fell off and it destroyed my crank arm and front chain wheel. My god! After bringing my bike back they very reluctantly agreed to fix it but replaced my very good chain wheel with a chain wheel you'd get in a cereal box. My bike has never functioned so poorly in the years I've owned it. Very incompetent staff. I just wanted a simple tune up and I got back a bike with lesser parts that functions significantly worse than it ever had.

We've been going to this bike shop for years because it's the only option in our neighborhood, but…read moreunfortunately the experience seems to get worse with each visit. The customer service is consistently disappointing. Staff rarely makes eye contact, there is little to no acknowledgment when customers enter the store, and basic courtesies such as greeting customers or providing updates on wait times are completely absent. It is extremely inefficient and disorganized. What makes the experience particularly frustrating is that there can be only a couple of customers in the store while several employees are on the floor, yet it can still take 30 minutes to an hour just to get someone's attention or speak with a staff member. During these waits, there is often no communication, no indication of who is being helped next, and no confirmation that anyone will be assisting you. As a family that loves biking and has invested a lot of time and money on our bikes, it's so frustrating to get it serviced at this location and will be looking at going elsewhere.
