I mean, I get it. You can't control where trees fall, but a warning would've been pretty helpful. The guy who gave us instructions in the beginning told us to go a certain way when we got to the bridge, directions which got us trapped in a huge tree in very fast moving water. In the end, we did sign the form saying they weren't responsible for us getting hurt, we just didn't expect how much hurt we were in for. As far as front desk customer service goes... helpful information, not so helpful attitudes.

He gave us parking instructions and a waiver and said, "sign this about all that COVID bull crap." Our car group was not assumed. Most of the other staff seemed friendly enough and most wore masks, but they didn't not require masks worn inside the building. Then on the tubing ride a local started screaming at as from her house because "I find too much litter down there!!" We weren't doing anything wrong so I don't know why she felt the need to scream at us. The people who live on the river clearly resent the tubers.

Since I had already paid the full $900 upfront, he agreed. About two months later, I contacted him to schedule the remaining training days, but I started receiving multiple excuses and delays. I even offered to pay an additional $150 to accommodate the situation, but in the end, I was told I would need to pay another instructor $600 extra to complete the final two days because Edd no longer wanted to honor his original agreement. I understand unexpected situations can happen, but I was disappointed by the lack of follow-through and professionalism after paying in full and relying on the promise that was made.

Flex Fitness in Freeport has made great improvements over the past few months with the hiring of a…read morenew gym manager (Mike) who has literally taken personal ownership of the place and cleaned up much of the mess that previously existed. He's on top of everything, from management to admin to maintenance. The place looks and runs better than it has since it first opened (back when Denver was running the show). The only downside is that Mike takes off at 6pm, so in the evening hours there still tends to be a problem with non-members (mostly undocumented) sneaking in. And for that reason alone I would not recommend unaccompanied females be there after dark.
