Disappointing Experience - Definitely Not Worth the Money
I…read morehad a connecting flight with about two hours to spare and was hungry, so I decided to stop here and grab something to eat. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience, and I wouldn't eat here again.
I ordered the fish and chips, which I was told was a popular item. When my plate arrived, I was honestly caught off guard. The fish was shaped like an entire fish, which was not at all what I was expecting. I'm used to fish and chips being served as battered, finger-shaped pieces of fish, so the presentation was a little off-putting to me.
Unfortunately, the food didn't get any better from there. The fish had practically no flavor, the tartar sauce wasn't good, and the overall presentation just wasn't appetizing. The fries were mediocre at best, and the sweet tea was just okay.
I'll give credit where it's due: the service was good. However, good service can only go so far when the food doesn't deliver.
I paid around $30 for my meal, and honestly, it was nowhere near worth that price. I understand airport restaurants tend to be more expensive, but I still expect the food to be enjoyable, especially at that price point.
Overall, this was a disappointing stop during my layover. I wouldn't spend my money here again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend the fish and chips.
