So I googled nearby springs and this recreation area came up. I was totally surprised to pull up and find that the water was super clear and blue. They have a pretty large swimming area with a diving board and slides. There is plenty of room to lay out and get sun. Also allow you to swim outside of the main area. The lifeguards were super friendly when I asked if I could swim outside the area and even told me where the underground cave was outside of the main area. Underneath the diving board is an entrance to another underwater cave. Be aware that there is a current in the main swimming area. We really enjoyed swimming/snorkeling in the area and seeing the underwater caves. It's a great value!!! I highly recommend hanging out here if you're in the area!!

Also it's florida so you will see snakes but they really just mind their own. Public Springs are Williford Springs and Pitts Sylvan Springs State Park. Pitts was our favorite. Overall 6/10 just wish i knew you didn't have to pay $65 for the kayaks when you can see them for free with no rush on time.

They feed you as well- but if you want any particular snacks I'd bring those yourself. They also provide you with photos that they took throughout the day including any GoPro footage you may have shot using the water scooter. The resort has lots of cool things like a solar heated pool, a rec room, docks. Glow lights was a 3ft light bar just sitting on bottom of each side of the kayak. The person in front had no lights. She had to use her phone light to see. It was very windy, too windy for someone who has not done that before so we ended up staying by the dock in 2-4ft water. Bottom of kayak was so scratched up hard to see through. Left light board kept going off. The only picture took was on outside of the kayak.

A woman answered and hung up, so I called a different number on the website. A man answered and asked if I was in front of a "big ass white building". He then told me he was the boyfriend of the owner and his step son would be there soon. We went around back to a kayak on the ground and waited. Around 8:15pm the step son came up to us. He was obviously intoxicated and he said he did not have any reservations that evening. We showed our email and he said he would prepare the kayaks. The vibe was sketch. We walked over to the pick up truck he was in and noticed his buddy in the passenger seat was nodded out with a needle visible in the door handle. There were empty twisted tea cans littered in the back of the truck. The glow lights he was charging were dollar store lights. The glow kayaks are a joke, there are no life jackets and it was not safe. There is no way this guy would have been able to jump into action if there was an emergency. We called the number on the email confirmation and asked for our money back. She asked why and then argued with me about how it was safe and noting wrong with the situation. We disputed the charges with the credit card company. Everyone we spoke to seemed high.
