All the issues I had listed in my previous issues were addressed this time. It was a wildly busy time and they kept our order together. We all enjoyed our food. We got all our old favorites: garlic knots, fried zucchini, spaghetti, tiramisu and soup, but also tried the chicken Marsala ravioli and were really impressed. We live in Las Vegas, where there is plenty of good Italian food, but we physically cannot help ourselves from going here any time we go to/from SoCal. The prices are super reasonable and the deliciousness is off the charts. The wedding soup is awesome, you can tell super from scratch. The linguine pescatore is my personal favorite, with a super reasonable price for how much beautiful seafood you're getting. The desserts are epic, perfect tiramisu and brownie sundaes. Also the service is incredible, especially Vanessa and Eli. They were so sweet, we felt like regulars after having gone there a whopping two times. Make sure to call in your order for take out before you get there! I went on a Monday night and it was still packed with guests. I ordered their Seafood Pescatore, Mushroom Ravioli in Garlic Cream sauce, and a side order of risotto. The main dishes comes with a side of salad or soup and garlic bread. Their packaging was great as the garlic bread remained toasty in foil and the cup holder for the soups made sure that they wouldn't spill over in the car. As for the food, I enjoyed the Mushroom ravioli and risotto the best. Their risotto comes with mushrooms and spinach and definitely worth the $8. I would get this every time. Their mushroom ravioli were filled with mushroom and the garlic cream sauce had just enough of that garlic flavor not to be overpowering. The seafood pescatore was okay, not bad but not a must-have. The noodles were cooked al-dente and seafood was plentiful but my wife and I personally enjoy cream based sauces. All in all, great place to get your Italian fix in Chino and support local businesses! read more

My family had always wanted to come and eat at Cannataro's, but the place was too busy. It's good they took reservations. So to make our anniversary celebration extra special we finally made it to discover how much we will enjoy the great food this restaurant has been well known for. The place was packed as early as 6:30 pm (on a Friday) and it was full of people and a line to pick up for to-go orders. We were then accmmodated further down to a roomier area. It was a bit tight but we had ample space to be saeted. I had to try their specialty, the sausage & meatball pasta and shared their House special pizza, while my wife chose the Ravioli and our daughter had lasagna. All's so deliciously & authentically made! To finish off we had tasty Tiramisu & rich, New York Cheesecake for dessert! We were stuffed and very satisfied, we had to bring home leftovers to enjoy the following day. Thank you for a memorable experience, we're definitely coming back. Hidden in a strip mall was this cozy Italian restaurant. It's always a good sign to see a place that's busy. Tables are kinda small and I felt a little cramped. We ordered mozzarella sticks to start they were pretty good but not served hot. Our main dishes were the stuffed peppers. A calazone, and the spicy spinach artichoke pizza. The stuffed peppers were the star of the night, very good flavor. The pizza was decent not what I was expecting but still pretty good. The calazone was average but the sauce it came with was actually really good. Italian sodas come with A LOT of whipped cream and was pretty tasty. read more

On our way back from Mammoth, we were craving Italian food. To beat the traffic, we found Cannatoro's off the 60fwy, we checked Yelp and it happened to be one of my bookmarks for "off the beaten path from the OC". We ordered online which was easy to order and easy to find. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile. The order was early and ready for us. We quickly utilized the restrooms which were clean and nicely decorated. On our way home, we could smell the yummy Italian and we couldn't wait to eat. We ordered multiple meals and everything was delicious. We ordered: chicken Marsala with mushroom ravioli, linguine carbonara add sun dried tomatoes, linguine supreme, pepperoni pizza, vegetarian pizza, minestrone, pasta fusilli, and Italian green salad and a full garlic bread. We enjoy dining at Cannatoros. You can dine at a booth or table. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is good too. I love their soups, today we both had pasta fagoli. We usually order the lasagna with a side of sausage, delicious! I tried the sampler tonight which included lasagna, pasta Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. I enjoyed the lasagna and chicken parmigiana, the Alfredo not so much. We've used their catering service and have not been disappointed. read more

This was my first time here and I loved the food so much!! It takes some time to come out but it was super fresh. For the pizza they even write on the menu how they hand toss their pizza and it takes time, but it is worth it. The pasta was also great. The spices in the sauce complemented the veggies very well. I don't have it pictured here but they do give unlimited garlic bread and it was also good. I was here on a Saturday, 2/4, in the evening and there was a wait as all the tables were packed. I believe they do that reservations so I recommend making one before going. Our server was also incredibly nice. The restaurant itself is really outdated with its interior so if you are looking for a place that looks more modern keep that in mind. I've visited Cannatro's a few times, and it tastes was not as good as before. Yesterday, I ordered watermelon macarita and beer and rib eye steak and stir-fried shrimp vegetables. Watermelon macarita was like a really really sweet drink. I don't recommend watermelon magarita. we there often because it was a restaurant in the neighborhood, but I was disappointed. read more

I'm a little disappointed with my experience here tonight unfortunately. I've had perfect experiences before in the 5+ times I've been here so I'm not sure what happened. I had ordered online for the first time (I've previously only ordered through the phone and dine in). I ordered around 4:45 wanting my order for pick up at around 6. However the online ordering website did not allow you to select a time, the order had to be made "as soon as possible." So when I ordered, I got a notification that said my order will be ready in 45 minutes. Because of this, I left a comment on the online ordering page at the very end of my ordering. I also called in to make sure my order would be ready at 6, not 5:30. I also asked for no bacon in the comment section for the pasta I ordered (linguine carbonara). I went in to pick up my order at exactly 6:01. It was a very busy night from what I could tell so I was expecting a possibility that my order would still need a few minutes. However, it did not. It was ready to pick up as soon as I checked in. When I got home, I realized all my food was cold. Like it had been sitting out since 5:30. I didn't get home until about 6:10-6:15 so it should have at least been somewhat warm but it wasn't. Bread was soggy because it was probably sitting out. Also, my pasta had bacon in it, which I specifically asked not to be put in. Mistakes happen all the time. I should have checked before I left the restaurant. But so should the employees before they hand out their food!! I'm hoping this was a one time fluke and it won't happen again. I still love this place and will still come here when I'm in the area but just some little quirks should be fixed. read more

Great little buttered bread knots!!! These are scrumptious! My lady-gal loves the wedding soup thing. She lives by it. My spawn really enjoys their personal pizza. As for myself, I haven't had anything bad, yet. All their food is titillating. We usually do take-out b/c the room and booths are a bit smooshed. Let's start with the complimentary bread, always a good start. Our salad was a good start from a long week with no greens! Two items were ordered and only one pictured. Boyfriend ordered the Cannelloni Supremo said it was good, nice mixture of ingredients. Flavorful, filling, and satisfying. The Linguine Carbonara was so flavorful and satisfying. Can dine inside oct. 2020. Plenty of parking in the plaza. It looks closed but they are open. They seated us right away and was practicing social distancing by putting us away from other diners. We got our menus right away and the server took our drinks as well. My friend wanted the Italian soda but every flavor she ordered the server come back saying they are out.. which makes no sense. So she decided to get the vanilla bean and she didn't like it because it was way overly sweet. My boyfriend ordered a pitcher of beer. Their menu is super long so it took me awhile to pick. But we started the potato cheese wedges for appetizer and it was really good. Fresh, crunchy, thick slices of potato topped with cheese and bacon. They also gave us complementary garlic bread which was pretty good lots of garlic flavor warm, crunchy and soft at the same time. Food : my friend ordered the veal with spaghetti and it was really really good! I love how tender the veal was and it was super juicy. I loved the veal sauce it was so flavorful and not overly salty. My boyfriend ordered the meat ravioli which was alright. Their tomato sauce is pretty good, didn't taste canned sauce at all. My order wasn't really on the menu, so it was really nice for the cook to cook what I want. I wanted a veggie angel hair pasta with a light garlic and white wine sauce. It was perfect just how I wanted it. Every meal comes with soup of salad, I definitely recommend the wedding soup!!! I'm a soup lover and this hits just right!! The little cute meatballs were so good. I especially love soups that are clear broth not creamy so it was perfect! The only down side was that the waitress didn't seem like she wanted to serve us.
