They are restrained to not sell tobacco products as a heads up to those interested. We picked up a few edibles and some flowers upon being advised of the popular picks among the decent selection. Expensive (and the tax whewwww) but worth the goods. Wide selection of products for everyone. The edibles are on the weaker end but if you're not using a medical card, that's probably due to the legal limit for carrying as a recreational user. That being said: MA has no reciprocal medical program, so if you're a medical pt in another state, you're going to have to forego it for recreational prices. I was pleased with the selection. The walk ins are directed upstairs while pick up online orders were downstairs. Be aware there's only one restroom on the recreational side. They will check ID as soon as you enter the establishment. I ordered online with an estimated pick up on my end from 4-5 pm at around ~3 pm, and it was ready by 3:30. They were nice and efficient but the tax snuck up on me, as it's not accounted for when you purchase online. Bring cash if you can: there's a $3.50 service charge to use debit cards. Good selection of products here. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They're also very knowledgable about the products and have both digital and paper menus. I do wish they had a larger selection of edibles that aren't just gummies, but overall I'm happy with Cannabist. It is cash or debit only, which is kind of annoying but also normal. I actually decided to finally get my patient card because of Cannabist and am super happy I did. Will definitely be back. The only product I bought from here I wouldn't reccomend was the Rove vape pen. The oil in the cart was too thick, but the vape doesn't come with a heating feature so it just clogs the mouthpiece and ends up ruining the vape. I switched to a Pax Era vape and am very happy. You are able to look thru a "menu" book but it was so many options I just asked fora recommendation. Which he gave me a great option. I wish I could give less than one star..I was in town with my friends and my boyfriend. We stopped in here on a whim, after coming in and feeling really disorganized, I waited in line for half a second with a menu in my hand and then a second later being called to a register, in the mist of me turning and putting the menu away, I was getting SCREAMED at to hurry up and go to a register. Once at the register, I was a little unsure of what I wanted or of the deals, and the budtender there was SO annoyed and pushy that he went to the extent of pulling my bf aside and asked if I was under the influence...mind you I'm completely sober, and trying to spend money at this establishment. Get in and get out type thing. After feeling really uncomfortable for being accused of being intoxicated, the budtender then tells me there is a store minimum and if I purchased the 1/8 that was on sale I had to purchase more, when that indeed was not the case being the friends I was with JUST purchased the same 1/8 that is in special and only that. Overall I would not recommend this business to anyone or anyone, there's never a need to be rude like that to anyone, let alone a paying customer. 0/10 do NOT recommend read more

DEETS : Monday's I believe you spin some sort of wheel, yet the prizes are less then exciting. YES, there is a point system for each time you purchase, but again falls really short when it comes to other dispensaries. The "first time patient" doesn't compare AT ALL to other dispensaries, it's nice when places do 50 off a 100 the first four times you come in. Patriot care has a one time patient special but again, not so exciting or intriguing. At competitors after three or four times coming in, you start racking up some serious points where you can take 50+ bucks off your order. Again, not here. I do not go to Patriot Care anymore because they messed up my check out one too many times by not applying appropriate credits and promotions and over charging me. Word to the wise, DO NOT sign up for their Platinum rewards program. There is no other perk besides the 1/16th month really. It never developed into anything worth the money. It's more of a pain to go every month to get your cannabis. They do have some good indica dominant products as well as offer bundle backs of prerolls. read more

I tried a bunch of different strains this week.. large selection.. all very good and not dried out like some of the other dispensaries . The chocholope pre rolls are awesome right now. they allow you to stack discounts which is great and can really have a dent on the cost. main drawback of this place is parking. however, they do offer transportation coupons to help offset any of your costs getting there.. $10 off a hundred dollar purchase for I think four times a month. so thats cool. but I still got to sit on the train... and the waiting room is a bit strange. there is plenty of room in the main room but they bring in people one at a time. Used to be cool with nice people and fun physical wheel you spun and got real discounts on two days a week, fast forward to today, three staff overhauls and iPad spun wheel heavily weighted to land on free lighter or three dollar off accessory. There is $10 travel coupon you get to use twice a month, but that just brings outrageous prices down to affordable. Choice is good, but Patriot Care gives little discounts, so expect to pay a lot. This is dispensary is a friendly place, but it used to be friendlier. They have also changed how they charge under the debit card system, so now they round up to the next $1, charge goes as it is an ATM charge... and you are supposed to get change back???? At times they forget to hand you back your change. Keep and eye... But what's really interesting, was the fact there is a pamphlet stating that one can get $50 off over $150 purchase. They were going to void my transaction, so that I could purchase more and go over $150 ...then it was determined that that's not how it works. As far as their Paid For membership, where you're supposed to get 1/16th a month, I was told that if you don't find what you like, you could wait to the next month and get two or something you like. I was offered to take 8 by the new manager, I only took 2... then the other manager said NO- Use it or loose it!!!! So what did I paid over a $100 in membership for? They kept going behind doors to figure things out, I waisted tons of time there but keeping calm and asking for explanations. My cashier was very pleasant and he seemed embarrassed by management behavior and lack of customer service. I learned a lot and hope new dispensaries learn from this to ensure attention to details and good customer service is always a plus for any business. And yes, I will return as one bad experience does not constitute a life sentence ;) hopefully they get 5 stars next time. Peace! read more
