Cannabis was SUPPOSED to be regulated like beer, but I don't think the state takes down the names of people who buy beer, do they? Now, I don't blame RISE for the regulations, however, RISE GOES TOO FAR! After showing ID, and checking in, which is already too much, RISE INSISTS that we place an order electronically! Why can't THEY do that, if they insist? Other shops don't make me do that! Isn't it the store's job to tabulate purchases, ring them up and take payment? Why should I do it? My local grocery store gives me better service than the RISE dispensary! I want to walk up to the counter, tell them what I want, and have them get it for me! If they ate too lazy for that, PUT THE STUFF OUT ON A SHELF, AS IN A GROCERY STORE. WE WILL BRING IT TO THE COUNTER! This officious BS has got to STOP! Furthermore, recently, I purchased a 510 battery there. $25 for something they used to give away, to buyers of their expensive product .(they cost about $1 to make). Now they want $25, which is a rip-off! But I needed one, so I bought it. 2 seconds after I paid for it, the cashier informs me that it cannot be charged in ordinary wall chargers, etc., that it needs to be charged on a computer or other low-power source, otherwise it will die prematurely.. it says nothing about any of that on the item package. So, I decided not to buy it, but guess what? THE MANAGER SAYS SHE CANNOT ACCEPT A RETURN! She says " We are a dispensary. We don't accept returns." I say " wait a minute, I just bought this 2 seconds ago, when you informed me that it is faulty! I want to return it, without ever leaving the counter. SHE CONTINUES TO REFUSE. i decide to accept that, but investigate. I leave. When I get home, I try to use my battery, but guess what? Although apparently fully charged (the green light glows steadily), it doesn't work. This battery has a provision to plug a USB-C cable into an outlet on its side, so it can be used while charging. THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER! So I brought it back, intending to INSIST that they take it back, and guess what? A DIFFERENT CASHIER HAD NO PROBLEM WITH TAKING IT BACK! Apparently, the "manager" who refused me LIED. Apparently they CAN take merchandise back! Which of course was all I ever asked for. RISE PLAYS GAMES, THEY LIE TO CUSTOMERS AND JERK US AROUND, I've had it with RISE. I don't need the ridgid, dishonest, CORPORATE way they do business. There are many alternatives. I intend to use them.

Not only is Dr Caplan one the most knowledgeable medical marijuana doctors in the field for adults and children (special cases only) he also offers a bevy information including what dispensaries offer deals to new patients and where to go discounts when you renew not to mention courses on growing your own medicine! When i returned on for my first renewal i complained to Dr Caplan that i was exceeding my 10 ounce limit too quickly due to the stringent rules regarding concentrates (5 grams is equal to 28 grams of flower) and he doubled my allotment and since then i havent come close to needing to go out of state or to the gray market to get the medicine i need. Im about to return for my 3rd yr with CED and Dr Caplan, if you need comprehensive care for your med pot needs, there is no one better for the job!
