I made an account to leave this review.... That's how upset this experience left me.
I just had a very bad experience at this store - There isn't anything online or within the ordering system that states that customers must arrive before 10:50 p.m. If you are closing at 10:50, and not 11:00, just say that in your hours or have something posted within your website. I arrived at the store to pick-up an order around 10:51-52 only to be told that they were "closed" and would not accommodate my pickup order. I walked back to my car and called them from my phone (10:54) and explained that I just drove about 45 mins away ( I am out of allotment and this is one of the few places open late that had what I needed). She continued to inform me of the cannabis laws, which I'm well aware of as I also shop at Diem in Lynn, another area recreational dispensary that closes (actually so) at 11pm.
She was nice enough to let me in to pickup my order, but I did not feel welcomed at all. I understand it was late, but a simple "hello" or "hi" would have sufficed. Instead I was told that "I need to cash out at the register and not the atm because they won't be able to cash me out if I'm a second past 11" - (it's about 10:56-57 at this point. [this was actually funny to me because him interrupting me to cash out at the register actually distracted me from entering my atm credentials correctly, so this took ever so longer... because of them])
ATMs don't take three minutes to use so I responded I'm sure I have time and continued to get my cash.
I would have let this go if it wasn't for what the person that let me in said "also I want you to know that this is the first and last time we will
EVER be doing this" sternly, as if she was my mother granting me a favor or lighter punishment.
To which I replied the age old, "no worries, this will be the last time I'm here!"
Because frankly that's just bad business - One, to be misleading about your hours. Two, to be rude about accommodating me after doing so. Either be stern and don't let me in, or let me in and shut the fuck up about it. I don't see what anyone gained here from beating a dead horse. The commotion over letting me in and whether I should use the register or atm took longer than my actual pickup transaction. I was out of the store by 10:57:42 per my receipt, they spent the last minutes of their shift being total assholes.
And lastly, I think the reason I was the most upset was because this is my first time actually at this location and to have this as a first impression was immensely negative. I wasn't even intentionally late, as aforementioned I came from far and got lost, taking me about 10-15 mins of course.
