LeAnna and LaVonne have gone out of their way to be flexible and work with our schedule. Each day they send us updates on our boy's peeing, pooping, behavior around other dogs and people, as well as sweet photos. We just happened to see our walker, LaVonne, on the street last week and our boy was so excited to see her. That's the true mark of a job well done. She is loving but firm...exactly what German Shepherds need.

After four scheduled cat sitting services (for 1-2 weeks at a time), I have been thoroughly pleased with ALL of their employees, the high level of communication, the friendliness and the reliability! I am so grateful that they are in Hyde Park and a local business. A few things I've noticed: 1) I get updates with photos and a narrative for every visit. I usually schedule 2 visits every day that I'm gone. 2) No matter which employee visits, I understand from the narrative report that they have read the instructions, and the comments that I've left. For example, this summer, the temperature reached 100 degrees outside, but I had forgotten to turn on the A/C. After leaving a comment to ask that it be put on energy save an set to 72, the next sitter did just that, and sent me photos to verify the settings. This put me completely at ease while being away during a dangerous heatwave. 3) My cats need medication and a special feeding schedule; my instructions are followed and this also helps me feel at ease that the kitties are fine for extended absences. 4) If I need to extend my trip, the online scheduling system is easy to update and I know that I won't have to scramble to find an alternative. The onboarding process if you are a new client is not something that can be done at the last minute; I signed up before I knew I would have a trip planned, but then once the consult was done, it has been completely a breeze to sign up for vacation house sitting appointments. I have been and continue to be very pleased with the services, care, and convenience of Hyde Park Bark!

I'm a first time dog owner and went to Anything is Pawzible right when we rescued our pitbull. We've worked with one of the trainers there, Jazz, in two private sessions but their help goes way beyond just those in person hours. Jazz has offered counsel over email several times when we've reached out with behavior questions or just general dog advice. They truly have gone above and beyond with helping us become confident dog owners. When we are in person, the facility is clean and spacious and the staff treat our dog like their own. They answer any and all of your questions and check in several times to make sure it's all making sense to you. We will be back in the future and I recommend for all pet parents!

Yvonne has a wonderful way with dogs and is very equipped to deal with challenging dogs.  Darby quickly warmed up to her because she knew the right way to interact with him.  He quickly learned to trust and LOVE her.  She has become his favorite person by far!  She has helped us immensely by teaching us how to meet Darby where he is at and engage him.  Make no mistake- you have to do the work if you want your dog to get better. It is HARD WORK.  But you will have a knowledgeable, funny, and caring teacher right behind you if you work with Yvonne.   Darby is still working very hard, but he has made such huge strides. In a year, we went from a dog who was snapping and growling at us to joining a group class!!!  We never thought this would be possible!!!  We just can't believe he is the same dog!  We just finished the Basic class with Yvonne and it was fantastic.  The Avondale location is spacious, so you have plenty of space to work with your pup and the homework is helpful and just enough- not too overwhelming. It is great value for the price! I can't say enough positive things about experience. If you have a challenging pup, this is the place.  There is hope. Thank you, Yvonne and Anything is Pawzible!

For some reason I thought I reviewed before. I live close by and thought how wonderful to have a…read morevet so close. Things were good with my previous dog, a few hiccups being able to get his meds easily, a lot of back and forth. My dog also was older and needed assistance to get on the table, this varied from kind compassionate help to not really my issue. Enter the next dog, went for a puppy exam and that went well. However, when I needed to come back to get an estimate to have him neutered, I just want a ballpark, a range. I was told that the doctor had to see him, again I said I want a range, not an exact and I know it can be more because one testicle hasn't dropped. Again I was told she must see him. I said I didn't want to pay for an exam, the lady at the desk said she understood that. So what ended up being a brief exam, listen to the heart, look in ears and feel his belly a few minutes, I was told to wait upfront. I did, and was told I owed 75$ for the exam. I repeated, I didn't want the exam. And said just a range. Well it turned into a very uncomfortable who said what thing. So I paid it. Upset about this all, I walked back and tried to understand what had happened. I spoke with Dr. Gill directly, she did offer me money back, I tried to make clear it was more about how it was handled, I can afford the 75 bucks, maybe some can't and this is where communication is required. I still never, got that estimate, which I'm due, I paid for it. Perhaps a compromise could have been, taking the 75 off the procedure if I had it done there. To me it doesn't matter that it seemed evident that I wasn't going to get it done there. I paid for that estimate. Same for any service if you pay for an estimate, you get an estimate so you have information to make a decision. I do feel ripped off here. I know, she did offer me the money back, but did make me feel like a turd for even questioning the whole situation. I could go one star even however I do think she is a skilled vet and cares about animals. The people skills and front office training need work.

During my most recent visit I was able to speak with the tech while we discussed the write-up. I was advised to administer drops in my pups everyday. She took the time to answer my questions including if my dog could still have benadryl while on this medication. Dr. Gil even advised some post care that would prevent this from happening again. Checkout was smooth this time. I was able to pay and grab my receipt in under a few mins. My previous visit where my dog had dental cleaning I had some concerns. Dr Gil addressed my concerns during my dogs followup ear appointment. I explained to Dr. Gil that I do not have a tech background as veterinary so when uses some terms they might go right over my head or may be misinterpret. She totally gets it! I think this one of the reasons why I think she is a great veterinarian! We both understand during this pandemic everything is moving at a fast pace. So I think not meeting to face to face may have caused some my concerns during the dental cleaning post appointment. I really appreciate her clarify a few points from the dental cleaning not dental surgery treatment. Fyi, extractions are done by the veterinarian and charted by the tech. I totally missed that in my initial phone call back when my pup had his dental cleaning. All and all, I definitely will be back! I personal feel Dr. Gil is great at her job and really cares for the animals. Thanks Dr. Gil for all your hard work.
