We've been going to See Spot Run regularly for a year and a half, after a recommendation from a friend, and can't say enough good things about it (including the staff!). We utilized their puppy training program after getting our sweet Vizsla, Pepper, and saw an incredible difference after two weeks. They crate trained Pepper and taught her basic manners. Getting to play with other dogs in a controlled environment at such an early age was so important for her development. After she came back from training, we decided to put her in daycare for the winter months. Even though we are a 35-45 minute drive, it was worth it. We loved that they have scheduled play time in small groups, enrichment, and nap breaks for the dogs. We travel a lot and board her anywhere from 4-8 days when we travel. She does great and we have never had any issues in the year and a half of boarding her. It's always been a great experience. It's so comforting knowing she's in a safe and loving environment. We order training sessions while she's there. Typically Pepper wants to be around us all the time, but when we drop her off she doesn't even look back at us. Recently, Pepper has struggled being reactive on leash. We live in a high rise building, so it was an emotion she encountered a few times a day. We called See Spot Run and enrolled her in a 2 week board and train camp with Ruth and Matt. The amount of difference those 2 weeks made was enormous. We had started to lose hope Pepper could be on leash around other dogs. Ruth and Matt scheduled multiple sessions with my husband and I to make sure we were trained on the techniques they taught Pepper. Pepper has been home with us post training for about 6 weeks now and has had only a few situations where she was reactive - even in our elevator lobby. Every person we've interacted with at See Spot Run is amazing. We feel so grateful to have found them and to have them help us raise a confident and happy pup! read more

Ruth and her team are simply fantastic! We have a new puppy and Ruth and team have been a godsend. They are professional, kind and fun.....the whole staff feels like an extension of our family as we raise our puppy while juggling 2 careers and busy schedules. They have been flexible and amazing to work with as we navigate puppy life. They came to us highly recommended for their skill in training and have exceeded every expectation we had! read more

I'm long overdue in sharing my appreciation for Ruth and her team at See Spot Run, but their impact on our family cannot go unrecognized. One night, out of the blue, our two-year-old rescue, Frankie, suddenly exhibited dog aggression on our walk and in a never-seen-before moment of rage turned on me, it was something we had never experienced with him before, and we were very concerned. Our previous trainer was unresponsive, leaving us unsure of where to turn. With nowhere else to turn, I posted to the Aggressive & Reactive Dogs FB forum to ask the group for help- Ruth was the first to respond. At the time, I had no idea she owned See Spot Run--she was simply a knowledgeable and compassionate person willing to help. That night, she provided a contact number, which I called first thing the next morning. Her team immediately impressed me with their professionalism and care, quickly assessing Frankie's situation and following up within hours. Later that day, Ruth spent over two hours on the phone with me and my husband, offering guidance, resources, and even a virtual evaluation that day. What sets Ruth and her team apart is not just their deep knowledge of canine behavior but their genuine commitment to both dogs and their owners. At a time when we needed direction and support, Ruth stepped in without hesitation--not as a business owner, but as someone who truly cares. Their expertise, responsiveness, and dedication are unmatched, and I wholeheartedly recommend See Spot Run to anyone seeking exceptional training and behavioral support. Thank you, Ruth and the rest of the team, for your invaluable help--we are truly grateful for your time, expertise, deep knowledge and compassion. read more

See Spot Run has been an absolute savior for my reactive dog Roy and me. The whole team is extremely experienced, kind, and caring -- every time I drop Roy off, it's like he's being welcomed home. Roy and I have had particularly wonderful experiences with Taylor Duffy -- she quickly learned Roy's triggers and preferences, and was able to use them to help improve his behaviors. Taylor helped me anticipate and understand Roy's reactions to different environmental stimuli, and how to manage them to reduce his (and my!) stress. Not to mention, Roy is absolutely obsessed with her -- if I weren't so grateful that he loves her so much, I might get jealous! read more

See Spot Run helped me change my relationship with my rescue dog. I had tried a few other trainers in the area, even in-home trainers, and nothing clicked. See Spot Run were the perfect fit for us. The entire team is so kind, the training sessions were fun, they allowed my family to participate and even encouraged it, which was such a win! My dog now does daycare and boarding there as needed, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. Highly recommend if you're in the market for training, daycare, boarding, or just a general consult! read more

We've enrolled in Puppy Social and Basic Manners for our puppy as well as utilized their boarding services. We've been tremendously pleased with the training staff - in particular, Coralyn - and the kennel staff. The team is incredibly well-educated in dog training and dog behavior while also being very people-focused. You receive such dedicated and individualized focus even in a group class. We'll continue with their more advanced obedience classes! read more

We've used See Spot Run for two of our very different dogs. Most recently, our Newfoundland Luna, she attends daycare multiple days a week. Having worked at a dog daycare myself, Ruth's team is the only one I trust. I love knowing my girl is having the time of her life, playing with other dogs while being monitored closely by trainers equipped with extensive knowledge of dog behavior. I never worry about something happening due to negligence or "sorry I was on my phone." I know Luna is safe, cared for, and happy. We also used Ruth to help us train our very leash reactive Neapolitan Mastiff, Poe. We've worked with a few trainers back in Connecticut and her methods were the most effective when it came to his reactivity. Ruth taught us, not only how to navigate walks in our neighborhood and at parks with Poe, but foundational skills to work with any dogs we may have in the future. In a place where dog daycares are a dime a dozen, Ruth, and her team at See Spot Run are the real deal. read more

There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for these kind human beings. We started seeing See Spot Run in the fall of 2020. We adopted a dog that could uproot and drag my partner into the street if he thought he saw or heard a bicycle. We were in way over our heads. Ruth met with us once a week for about a year. We started taking group classes on zoom. When the world started opening up we got to go to go to in-person group classes. We started on the outskirts and have worked our way in. We are now playing musical chairs, participating in relay races, and comfortably hanging out with the rest of the class! Coralyn, Taylor, and Matt have taught our dog Charlie so many useful, silly, and practical skills! I usually know how to tell and what to do when he is triggered (or about to be). We have come so far! I have the journal entries to prove it! We keep taking classes because we love learning and See Spot Run makes it fun! An engaged dog is a happy dog. Charlie is never going to be the dog I can take to a coffee shop, but he is now the dog who can sit calmly next to me in a park and I love that for us. read more

See Spot Run is absolutely fantastic. This was my first foray into dog ownership and all of the trainers and staff at See Spot Run are absolutely wonderful! Beyond being super knowledgeable, it is clear that they have a passion as well as a genuine love and appreciation for dogs. Macy has attended the board and train program, numerous classes and heads to day school on a weekly basis. She has made tremendous progress and is literally a dream dog. She is always excited for day school and her classes...thanks so much to the See Spot Run team for all that you do for pets and owners! read more

Maybe these guys do a great job. Maybe my dog was completely happy and had a fun time running around and playing when he was there. Unfortunately, we'll never know. We took our dog there a few months ago while we were out of town, and despite being assured that we could call any time of day to check in, our numerous calls went unanswered. When we picked up our dog, we found that over half of the food we left for him went uneaten. The attendant didn't know why. UPDATE: The owner of the business was kind enough to address our concerns personally and assured us our dog had a great time and was well cared for. I appreciate the fact that she took the time to speak to us, and it certainly reflects that she truly cares. read more

I've been taking my dog to See Spot Run for a few weeks and I've seen so much progress! My dog is a rescue, about 1.5 y/o and is a hyper pit bull mix. It was a struggle to walk her, getting her to calm down, listen to commands and socialize her. Coralyn was our trainer and she is excellent. She is very patient, knowledgable and has helped us tremendously. My dog adores her and we love working with her. I highly recommend Coralyn and I've told all my friends to take their pups to See Spot Run. read more

Ruth is my sanity saver. I didn't know if I can go on owning a dog with a toddler and expecting another on the way. Things do not come instinctively when it comes to dog training, and we needed the help to make things work for our family. We enlisted Lucy in behavioral training at 9 months and it was a great time to do so ( habits are not too hardwired, she still seemed pretty impressionable). Biggest lesson though as a new owner- the skills we learned here need to be applied for life. Kids don't learn to become adults in a month, same applies to dogs. We got great feedback, Lucy got lots of love , and I got back most of my sanity :) read more

Daisy, Mr great Dane Puppy Loves this place. WHen I take her there and she sees Donielle, she doesnt even look back to say Bye!!! Which I guess is a great sign. We did individual classes with Daisy and the head trainer Ruth. We felt it was important since Daisy is a big Girl and you dont want to have a misbehavin dog that size. She no longer tries "counter Surfing" and the Place command that Ruth taught her is The Bomb. Instead of crating her during dinner time or when we are cooking we just point her to her pillow and say "place"...and she stays there!!! There are lots of Pretty Dog care places in the city. Some are painted pretty colors, some have buddah's and incense burning in the office. If that's what you're after, this aint the place for you. If you want a place where your dog is loved, taken care of, understood and professionally trained, then this is where you need to go. I would reccomend this place to anyone hands down compared to the other experiences I have had around the City. read more

Who would have believed our 1 year old Min Pin would ever take direction when requested to do so? If you know anyone who has a Mini Pincher, they are so incredibly hyper with zero attention span. Or so I thought until See Spot Run. Ernie is so well behaved after 3 weeks of training that when I get to the corner, I don't even have to ask him to sit anymore. He just knows to sit and stay until he gets his command to walk calmly across the street by my side. See Spot Run was the best investment I could ever have made for my dog. He is a pleasure and I'm not sure who is more proud of his behavior in public; me or him? Thank you!!!! read more

We've been taking our two dogs to See Spot Run for about 3 years now. The owners and staff are fantastic. Our dogs get excited when they see we're getting close to "school". I've always been confident that they are taken care of and well exercised during the day. Knowing that your dogs are safe and happy during the day is a great comfort. Ruth and Anne have been great about helping us with training, grooming, boarding, and anything else that goes above and beyond the standard doggie daycare. read more

Ruth and her staff are absolutely amazing. I brought my Australian Cattle Dog, Shadow, in for the Premium Board and Train program a few months ago. Due to the dedication and skill of everyone at See Spot Run, he has made progress in leaps and bounds. Ruth has extensive knowledge about animal behavior and has a calm, in control presence around dogs. My ACD came to See Spot Run with pretty extensive aggression issues. Although he made great progress while in the board and train program, I was amazed at how dedicated Ruth was about following-up and giving my dog further training for many weeks afterwards both over the phone and in-person (and continues to do so). She is also committed to trying out a variety of training techniques to find what really works for each dog. This shows that she truly cares about Shadow's progress and is committed to helping me get him to a place where he listens well, and is calm and well-behaved. Training Shadow an ongoing effort, but with Ruth's help I feel reassured that we can get there! I really cannot recommend See Spot Run highly enough. Everyone there is so kind, and wonderful at what they do. My dog now has the guidance to help him reach his full potential and behave more calmly and reliably in situations in which he used to react badly. Working with Ruth has truly been life-changing-- for both Shadow and myself! read more

Our dogs, Oliver & Lucy, literally cry TO GET IN to See Spot Run. They love it! And, when they come home after a weekend of playing at SSR, they sleep for about 24 hours. They definitely have their share of group play and they have a blast there! It's an amazing feeling to know that your dogs are safe and happy when you are out of town. Anne and Ruth are truly amazing and caring women and their love of dogs shines through in everything they do. We would never take our babies to anyone else - ever. read more

What a great place to board our dogs! We found See Spot Run after a rather thorough search of the other places, and though it means we have to drive a little further, given our location, it is definitely worth it. Our 3 little dogs LOVE to go there. They get out of the truck and drag us to the front door. The staff really seems to care, and our dogs really hate to leave when we pick them up. We wouldn't trust our little guys to anyone else. Just wish we lived closer so we could take advantage of their obedience training. We have seen them in action and they are great! read more

I really like this place. I almost gave it 4 stars for not mentioning the yelp coupon but Ruth gave me a bunch of deals so I can't complain. I boarded my 2 chihauhas for 10 days, she gave me a break for that and a break on the taxi service too since I'm close. I really liked the common sense staff. I'm stressed out when I'm travelling so I need people I can rely on that will take care of everything - and they did just that. See Spot Run was referred to me from Blair Canine - where I typically board. I also felt that all that I talked to there really loved dogs. It shows and that means a lot to me. Borie & Luchi will definitely be back. read more

My friend referred me to See Spot Run for boarding after the attentive staff there recognized a serious (and subtle) sickness in their dog while boarding her and referred her to a vet, essentially saving their pets' life. I would call my dog Smokey somewhat high-maintenance, needing a lot of exercise and being kind of a stubborn growly guy. See Spot Run was very willing to learn about my dog and accomodate him. When I dropped him off I was amazed to see a room full of kenneled dogs and hear No barking. It was actually quiet in there (they did start barking when Smokey was brought back, but still...) and when I picked him up he was happy, clean (great grooming options!), and relaxed. Nothing is more important to me then great care for my dog while I am away and so I will be using See Spot Run in the future! read more

I notice not many of these recent reviews are on private training, so I wanted to write about my experience, which was unfortunately negative. I had an introductory consultation with Ruth and a member of her team, and booked a 10 session package to save money. By session 3 it was clear that Ruth's team member (Ruth didn't come again after the consultation session) was not an effective trainer for my dog. Full disclosure- my adopted dog has multiple physical disabilities (a recently operated on hip and overly sensitive neck that makes a pronged collar difficult for him to wear). However, that was the precise reason I wanted expert help with his training. By session 3 I was so frustrated with how much discussion there was, and how little training there was, that I asked for a refund of the package. After not getting back to me when she said she would, Ruth then offered a refund that made no attempt to remedy the fact that I repeatedly asked her colleague to work with my dog during the training and her colleague continued to talk to me about training instead of actively training with my dog (in a 45 minute session she probably spent 20-30 minutes of it talking). EDIT: After I wrote this review she offered to give me 50% back of that training session. I've had dogs my whole life and have worked with a handful of trainers, all of whom have some sort of magical touch with dogs (including another trainer who has has a huge amount of success with my current dog, despite his physical disabilities). I cannot say that about Ruth and her team's training skills. read more

One of the most reliable and attentive dog boarding services in the city. The owner, Ruth, lives directly above the facility and can respond to any situation immediately. She and Coralin are also certified trainers, so owners can request training (such as walking, recall, potty training, etc) for $10/day while the dog is boarding. They did a great job explaining training while my pup was in extended boarding, reviewing cues and simple directives to reinforce at home. They really get to know the personality of your dog and socialize him up to six times a day with other dogs of the same temperament and similar play style. The dogs interact in the outdoor grass area behind the facility or indoors during colder temps. Pricing is fair and cheaper than some other companies in Chicago- one dog for an overnight stay (24 hour supervision) costs $57. They have boarding packages (10 day- $320, 20 day-$535, etc), but existing customers can pick up a holiday discounted package prior to Christmas. There are plenty of additional activities that owners can purchase a la carte, from toys to walks to treadmill workouts. There's even pampering and fitness treatments, plus IQ interactives. The owners and employees love what they do. They're knowledgeable and caring, so you can rest assured that your pup is in good hands. read more

Anne and Ruth and their staff are invaluable to us and have helped us shape a great bond with our dog. We've taken our dog to See Spot Run for obedience, daycare, and occasional boarding since he was 11 weeks old. He's over a year old now. This is not a fancy doggy spa. It IS a clean, practical facility whose owners truly understand canines and treat all those in their care as their pack. During her training sessions, Ruth presents an initial approach then adapts it if your own dog isn't understanding it that way, even during group sessions. We've done two obedience classes, and when we have really specific needs to address (like leash pulling or fear of certain circumstances), Ruth is easily available for private lessons. She even spent time with us late in her pregnancy and a few weeks after giving birth because it was a crucial time in our dog's development. The rate for private lessons is competitive, group classes are a deal for what you learn, and we never feel she's a clock-watcher. She's not a "tricks" teacher (though she'll teach you if you ask). Her approach seems to be about helping your dog be a well-adjusted companion. Anne doesn't mess around with her daycare or puppy kindergarten class. She's been an example of how you can be an incredibly affectionate yet firm dog leader. She keenly watches all dogs and ensures they play friendly but as boisterously as dogs do. She and the staff work around our dog's diet issues and have offered us helpful perspective based on what they see from other dogs they care for. Neither they nor their staff readily offer up feedback on our dog during the busy dropoffs and pickups unless it's important. But if we ask "How was he today?", they warmly tell us about his day, along with any behavior or physical trends we should pay attention to. After not having the time to ask that question for a couple months, I called Ann once for a check-in, and she took nearly 30 minutes for a very frank and insightful chat about our dog. It was strangely similar to a parent-teacher conference. As an added bonus, they're located right by the Green Line California stop, which makes it sooo easy to get Downtown after dropping him off. read more

Update: My dog, Delilah, is now 1.5 years old and I have continued to train and board her at See Spot Run. After I finished Delilah's Obedience 1 class, I started taking 1/2 hour private lessons with Ruth. My sessions with Ruth are extremely helpful and it is fun to watch Delilah as she continues to learn and mature. Boarding at See Spot Run is excellent, too. When I call to schedule Delilah, they are always very accommodating and friendly - even if it's last minute. I can tell Delilah has a great time at SSR, and is always very tired upon her return home. Again, I cannot say enough fabulous things about Ruth and her staff at See Spot Run. If you have a dog and are looking for passionate people to learn from - this is your place! read more

I am another trainer that took a shadow/apprentice program under Ruth and I learn a lot! She is fair, kind and effective in her training. The dogs AND people are treated with respect when she teaches them new things. I never was made to feel bad ever about my skills, instead she encourages or gives different options, rather than criticizing. Because she has an open mind about training, she has tons of different techniques for teaching things. She helped me get less dependant on training tools, helped me learn how to teach my customers step-by-step much better (I didn't even know how lacking I was in this area before seeing how thoroughly she teaches her customers), learned a ton more about dog socializing, and learned tons of new force free techniques. My lessons with customers are already going smoother thanks to some various tactics I got from her. I also was able to start my own doggy daycare, which before I didn't feel qualified to monitor one. Besides from that my intact shepherd absolutely loves his doggy daycare. He moans and cries in the waiting room to get in. Lol. I love bringing him there because he loves going there. This is the only facility I would trust to leave my shepherd for boarding and one of the few places that allows intact males in the daycare and treats them fairly while enforcing good behavior. All the dogs are so happy and well behaved in her daycare. Awesome experience. Thanks Ruth! :) read more

Ruth is amazing!!! I signed up for four private sessions with her to help me with my dogs reactive behavior toward other dogs. We did three sessions at the kennel and one in my neighborhood. She was very helpful and provided me with the right tools to help Thunder out. Thunder is doing awesome. He has really good days and some not so great days, but overall so much better than before. I feel comfortable being able to walk him down the street and not feel embarrassed by his behavior. His favorite dogs to bark at, bull dogs, are still a challenge for me. Today, someone even commented on what a well trained dog he is!!! I can't believe they were talking about my dog!! I will be bringing Thunder here for some more class training and boarding in the future. read more

I'd strongly recommend steering clear of this place. I have a gentle, sweet beagle who has a little bit of a barking problem. She's excited to see other dogs out and about and wants to say hi. I bought a deal here for their introductory training class and was happy to begin addressing the problem . The methods are somewhat questionable here. They recommend pincher collars which I'm not a huge fan of. They're definitely not gentle. There were about 6 other dogs in class with us and many of them were reactive barkers (and the poor dogs sittings in cages on the training floor wasn't necessarily helpful to the reactive dogs either.) After the second class, we were all told that the dogs bark too much and we all would have to schedule private classes in order to curb the issue and THEN the group class would resume. UM, WHAT?! What am I paying for then? We were told that we would all be contacted when the class would pick back up again. Well, guess what- NO CALL! I felt that the whole situation was a total cash grab and the whole thing felt slimy. In a way, I was somewhat relieved because I didn't love the way they were training my dog anyway, so I guess that's the silver lining in the whole situation, other than paying for something I never recieved. I would NOT recommend any services here after seeing the poor dogs cooped up there for boarding and daycare either. They just sit in crates and bark. All in all, extremely disappointing and concerning. read more

I really won't endorse taking your dog to daycare here, but I don't have any HUGE complaints. Our package that we bought from a deal online just ended and my dog will not be going back. I think it's very expensive-$30 a day where as I can take him to another daycare for $25 a day and I know he is out of a cage when he's at the other one. My issues with See Spot Run is that I think my dog spent most of his time inside of a kennel. Where he goes now, he is outside or inside playing and sleeping in a group setting and is not put in a kennel until 4PM when pick-up time begins. I also am not a huge fan of this staff. On Friday I was dropping my dog off and I think I walked in the OPEN door at 7:28 AM and a man was inside sitting at the desk talking to another man with no dog and he then asked me "Can you wait outside?" ....Um...excuse me? It was the rudest thing I have ever encountered. After that it just sealed the deal that these people would not be caring for my dog again. I also don't need someone giving me advice about how to make my dog better on a leash when I come to pick him up...that's not what I am paying for. And when I did pick him up, his sensation harness was never even on correctly! Every time I picked my dog up, he would have to pee SO bad and he would drink water like he had never drank before. I called Ruth about this and requested an extra potty break and water in his cage, but it obviously never happened because he acted like this until his last day of daycare there. I think they need to have an earlier drop off time...people work at 8AM and to not be able to drop your dog off until 7:30 is pushing it. And to ask me to pay an ADDITIONAL $5 to drop him off a little earlier is nuts. $35 a day for daycare is just way too expensive. My dog never seemed really excited to go to daycare at See Spot Run, but where he goes now everyone knows him by name, they email me pictures of him at daycare, and they are so accommodating (cheaper, earlier drop off time) and that's what I look for in a daycare for my pet. The plus side of this business is Ruth is very knowledgeable about pets and my dog never had an injury that I know of. read more

This review is a little late as my experience with See Spot Run was about a year ago. I brought my chihuahua in to check out their training classes. Anyone who has a chi knows that they are very stubborn little animals (they bark like CRAZY) and take special training. At my first visit they were very nice and one of the trainers mentioned that she had a chi and that she totally knew what I needed and would be happy to help. Never saw her again, but oh well...the training class led by Ruth seemed like it was going to pan out anyway. We went through two training classes and my poor little girl was SO scared by the other nervous dogs in the class I had to stop taking her. She literally wanted to curl up in a ball the entire time we were there. I had to personally talk with them about taking her out of the class because no one even brought up the fact that she was obviously not suited for a large class of dogs. They offered to give me two private lessons in place of the six weeks of training we had left. I was really put off by that and the fact that they kind of acted like my dog was weak for not being able to participate in the classes. She is freaking 5 lbs in a class with dogs that weigh 60 lbs and are crying and barking....I would be scared too! Needless to say I never went back. How they dealt with me just left a sour taste in my mouth. However, in the two classes we went to I did learn a valuable training trick that I still use with my dog. So it wasn't all a loss. read more

For the record, Ruth, the owner reached out to me after this posting. I stand by my review but appreciate her concern.

We've been taking our Boston here for boarding since 2010. I like the structured boarding facility with the structured playgroups- this works best for my little guy since he gets annoyed with the free for all running around places. Sometimes a dog just needs a quiet spot away from the crowd. The staff has always been really nice to us and I enjoy chatting with Ruth when she's available. I trust them with my furry baby and will continue to take him here when we need boarding. read more

If my dog could talk he would say that playing at See Spot Run is almost as good a T-bone steak stolen from my kitchen counter or a dirty sock taken from my laundry basket. But seriously, my dog loves daycare at See Spot Run.!!! My dog is a bundle of energy except for the few hours between daycare pick up and bedtime. He and his buddies must play hard. The staff are amazing, both knowledgeable and caring. I never worry about my pup when he boards overnight--the staff take great care of him. I've tried several dog daycare facilities before See Spot Run--some closer to home and others with fancy tiles and artwork in the lobby--but I'm done looking since it is the best place for my dog read more

My dogs love See Spot Run. Ruth and Ann as well as their staff take such good care of our dogs. The facility is clean (they are always cleaning something there!) and well maintained. I love that an owner lives on-site. That is so comforting when my dogs are boarding there. I know someone is there and will take good care of my pups. I also love the variety of dogs they handle from small to large, old to young. See Spot also involves their patrons in parties and activities to get to know one another. A fun place all around. read more

We visited See Spot Run to have Ruth give us a behavior assessment of our recently adopted dog. She was extremely patient and seemed genuinely interested in discovering the root of our dog's behavior problems. She really went above and beyond what our 90 min. consultation was supposed to include and we really had a very positive experience with her. We would've liked to continue working with Ruth, but have decided that the private lessons offered at See Spot Run do not fit our budget. I would definitely recommend Ruth's services to a friend, though. read more

I would highly recommend See Spot Run! We moved to Chicago from outside Philadelphia with our ten year old German Shepherd and was looking for a place to board. His transition to this new environment was seamless as Ruth and her very competent staff "got him". I added daily walks to his boarding routine which he enjoyed greatly. I felt at ease each time I left him in their care as he happily entered the office and when taken back to the kennel area he never looked back to see where I was....that is the best recommendation coming from a real Momma's boy! Thank you Ruth and staff.....I hope we can find another kennel/trainer just like you in our new home outside of Atlanta....we'll miss you! read more

Ruth assisted in private training after noticing that our dog wasn't focusing which was nice. I always suggest this place to those seeking training for pets. read more

I had spoken to someone named Nick over the phone when I initially set up dates to board our dog, Lucy. He seemed very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. When I came in I can't remember if I spoke to Nick again or not, I was told that they get let out for an hour and a half 3 times a day. When I dropped her off, he wrote down all the things that I had brought so that they would pack it all up when we would pick her up. Unfortunately, this was not used because we didn't get any of the extra food that we packed, her harness and the bag that I had dropped off - just her leash. They might have had a hard time keeping track since we were told there was like 7 Lucy's there over the weekend. They were very flexible in letting us pick up her beyond the time that we were planning on getting her. They do have charges for off hour drop off and pick up times. I have dropped her off a couple times now, and have had no complaints. read more

I have been taking my dog to See Spot Run for the last 3 years. Bella (my Llasa Apso) goes to daycare, gets groomed and has participated in multiple levels of training classes. We love it there. We've been bringing our Chocolate Lab to See Spot Run for over 3 years. Our experience with Ruth and Ann, and their staff is has been great! Our dog loves going. Their drop off and pick up hours totally work with our crazy work schedules. Since the first day we brought her, we knew it was a perfect fit.
