We've seen such growth in his ability to focus and respond to cues. What has been particularly remarkable is their specialized approach to Advanced Training and Task Training for our Food Allergy Detection Service Dog. He's already reliably detecting the presence of food allergens that could trigger life-threatening anaphylactic reactions in my kids -- a skill that could literally save their lives. I reached out and met with Keisha to discuss taking my standard poodle,Tulsa, to train as a service dog. Being an amateur in the world of service dogs, it has all been very intimidating due to the fact, I want to make sure I do it the right way and there really weren't that many people to talk to about it in my area. As soon as a I met with Keisha, her confidence in herself & her team radiated off of her. I had a list of questions and concerns about how it all worked and not once did I feel rushed nor brushed off as I'm sure they have heard the same questions hundreds of times. I took Tulsa to my consultation with Keisha and within 10 minutes, he had already taken up with her and she was already working with him while we discussed the training plans, pricing, time line, etc. You can really tell that she loves her job and has invested 100% of herself into it. Not only is this company woman owned by Keisha & Val, it is also all family operated. Bailey is their niece & also has extreme talent & patience. After our consultation, I left Tulsa with Keisha & Bailey for the 2 week board & train. He absolutely ate up the cuddles and attention he got from them all. This place is not just another training facility with kennels lined up one after another and your dog gets minimal time being trained a day. No. Your dog lives in their homes with them so they are exposed to all different kinds of environments that you may not be able to provide yourself. While Tulsa was already a very good natured boy to start with, he came back with a listening ear to me and has already started to pick up on more commands. Keisha Tucker and Valerie Fry have done an amazing job with my sweet Kenzi Jo. When they 1at came to me who was recommended by my vet 5 1/2 yrs ago she was what I say a monster. She would drag me around everywhere while on leash walking at only 5 or 6 months old and jumped up on me as well as wanted to use me as her very own personal chew bone. Then there was the problem of she was scared of men and children. She would go out of her way to go the opposite direction they were at. She now goes to classes with me in college and last night June 25, 2021 she not only allowed a 1 1/2 yr old little girl to come near her and pet her but also allowed her to sit and love on my Kenzi Jo. This would never have been possible had they not been working with us. Kenzi has been following my tiny niece around now and if she falls down Kenzi will get up and go check on her to make sure she is ok. we have had ups and downs but as long as I do the work they have suggested and showed me Kenzi Jo has been able to be successful. They do great work but unless I put in the work and practice everyday what they have taught me, then progress won't be shown. Thank you both for all of the help read more

After searching for a reputable dog trainer for my 2--- 1 year old pitbull puppies, Artemis & Apollo, I chose Keshia & Valerie. Artemis was my plastic bag in the wind, and when I picked her up 2 weeks later, she was a much more calm and attentive puppy. She will be starting her service dog training on Sunday, 7/2/23. Apollo will be starting his 2 weeks on 7/10/23 & I'm very excited. Then, his service dog training. There are no words to express the gratitude I feel for their understanding of my situation being on a fixed income due to having to medically retire on disability from the USPS only being in my 40s. They were more than helpful to schedule their training around my ability to pay. They are an A+ duo who offer great communication as well as treat the fur babies in their care as if they were their own. Me and Mr. Boone here received a sponsorship that they personally held with Taylor Brewer to assist in service dog training, and I can't express how much of an amazing experience it has been! We started working with Valerie and Keisha about nine months ago. We had started off with a different trainer who had used such harsh treatment with our puppy, that he had nearly shut down emotionally. Luckily, we were able to get him out of that situation working with these ladies. He came home from his initial two week board and train program happy, healthy, and very proficient in his basic obedience. Since that time, we have continued working with them once a week towards service dog training. I can honestly say he loves these ladies, sometimes I worry he loves them more than me. I have no doubt that he is treated kindly while he is with them. If we go out of town to a location where I don't feel comfortable bringing him, I always do additional board and train sessions with them. Keisha, Valerie and Bailey are absolutely the best! I have 5 doodles in training with them and let me just say WOW! I have fur babies that are well behaved and thriving in the service dog program. The negative reviews being left here are completely egregious and untrue. Do you have to go to class and work with your dog at home - YES! I feel like these folks that are leaving horrible reviews need to understand this is a lifetime (of the animal) commitment and requires the owner to be just as dedicated. My service dog in training babies love these ladies and for me - that is a testament to their character. We have learned so much about Doodles since this is my first time having doodles and The Service Dog Team has been available for all questions including one on one training to help us master tasks. read more

My SD, Rose and I started with SDTA when Rosey was 10 months old. Rose and I were attacked in our front yard and it SCAREDRose to a point I needed help getting her past it. We met with Keisha and Bailey and Rose spent her first two week board and train with them. Later in Rose's training she stayed again for some fine tuning. We have done group classes as well and Keisha and Valery are GREAT. My new pup is going to her first stay and train. Keisha and Valery are wonderful, caring, and very knowledgable. This team is amazing! My husband, myself and our dog LD spent a yr and half training to be a service dog and Caine good citizen. They are very knowledgeable, caring and become more than trainers. We were going to have to put traing on hold because of financial struggles due to my health and they said no. They let us finish out at no charge.
