i wish i could rate a million stars!! we sent our dogs with chris for a board and train.. our husky buddy used to run every chance he got, now he is 100% off leash trained.. i tried googling off leash huskies and they don't seem to exist lol.. but the pictures i attached are proof of how great a job he did!! our puppy peanut butter would jump on everyone who walked in the door and alway irritate buddy.. now he is perfectly behaved.. we also have 9 cats who the dogs tried to murder on a regular basis lol.. now the dogs and cats are best of friends!! even when the cats get aggressive, our boys are patient with them and just let them be.. chris also gave us some amazing personal advice and has impacted our life in more ways than i can describe.. hiring him is one of the best decisions we have ever made!!! read more

We have only had two lessons with Chris so far but WOW the difference in our dog is phenomenal. Tucker has some serious issues, especially with pulling and lunging while walking on the leash, and after this week's lesson, he has walked perfectly on each walk since. An immediate change. Chris saved my household! I adopted a wild child Great Pyrenees from the shelter to give my Lab mix a companion. She was a year old and completely wild. I would not recommend this company to train with. Chris reels you in with his friendly talk and sales pitch and good reviews. The training they do may be effective if your dog just needs to be polished but as far as socialization with people with a dog that is 100 plus I do not recommend at all. From the first call Chris did not mention we would be working with his side trainer Hooper until after I had paid for the 8 lessons. We were under the impression that we would be working with Chris. But I understand he lives further out and Hooper is closer and I wanted to give it a try because I was wowed by the reviews and the website. We went through 4 lessons with Hooper 1 of which was wasted saying things that could be understood in a text ie don't let the dogs on the furniture. Then the next two were on walking which again weren't very detailed and when I expressed that what they had told us wasn't working I was given a run around and no real advice to help. You can tell Hooper was timid and at one lesson he complained the whole time about how early it was (he picked the time) and barely gave us much instruction. He asked Chris to participate in the 5th lesson and I expressed I'd like Chris to be there for the rest of the lesson as we weren't satisfied with how they were being taught by Hooper and he said we'll see how this goes. I expressed I wanted him there for the rest or the lessons or we'd need to have another discussion. The lesson was rescheduled a couple times by us both but we figured out a day and when that day came Chris texted that he was going to be late. I texted back that we could push the lesson back if need be and I wanted him there for the full lesson. Well he didn't text back until 9:55am 5 minutes before the lessons start time saying he was in Fort Worth and tried to guilt trip me by saying he Probably saved a family from eviction. Which you had a week to manage time properly so you having bad time management and texting 5 minutes before a lesson is on him. He said he'd be forty minutes late and since he didn't clarify that he was going to push the lesson to 10:40am, I thought we'd continue the lesson at ten with Hooper and he'd show up for the last twenty minutes. When I told him I was frustrated by the lack of communication and that I didn't want him to just show up for the last twenty minutes because I no longer wanted to work with Hooper he said he thought since he said he'd be forty minutes late I just assumed he'd be pushing the lesson back but not at one point did he clarify that. Then he basically called me stupid for not knowing what he meant and going off of assumptions because he's 'never had anyone think he'd show up for the last twenty minutes of a lesson' yeah maybe if it was just you but hooper was already scheduled to be there. Long story short the communication is awful and very snarky. He ended up refunding us for the last 4 lessons even though the other 4 were crap. He said he didn't have to refund us because of the no refund policy and he was doing it out of the kindness of his heart, which I didn't ask for a refund I was going to finish the lessons even though I was upset by our experience but I knew about the policy and I even mentioned it before I paid and he said don't worry we wouldn't want a refund. He was the one that canceled the last 4, because of the work relationship wouldn't work. Again that's fully on him. I'm sure he'll have a snarky reply and again this is my opinion and experience dealing with this company. Save your energy and spend your money elsewhere. One more thing he mentioned he sees the most progress at the last lesson which seems like it's just a way to reach the end of the lessons and they are very heavy on the they're teaching you so that if it doesn't work out they can blame you for why it wasn't successful. I was hoping for someone to come do some training at my house with my 4 dogs. I paid around $900 for 8 Sessions I think and I only got half way through. There were a few helpful things he told us but I don't feel like I would call this training my dogs. This is someone who will come to your house and tell you what to do and talk a lot about it. I have not finished my lessons because it wasn't helping me with anything. I obviously am having issues training my dogs myself which is why I called a professional. I really needed active training sessions, not guidelines to follow on my own. I understand needing to do things on my own but I could have read the pamphlet for free. read more

I hired Chris to train my baby pit but sadly I had to cancel the training as my dog was given away. We had a misunderstanding but after a little while he reimbursed me ASAP and even offered me three free sessions on my troubles! I loved his initiative in get in contact with me after we lost touch, It shows that he really cares about his customers and their satisfaction and he's not a crook just after your money.
