I strongly advise against using this facility for your dog's care or training. My experience with both their daycare services and agility classes was extremely disappointing, especially compared to other providers I've used in the past. I have previously utilized various dog daycares and training services across different states due to frequent relocations for work, and I've never encountered issues like this before. The staff and owners at this facility were consistently rude, condescending, and even mocked my dog. After his first daycare session, I received a call informing me that my dog was "humpy," and they wanted to crate him rather than let him play. When I asked if he was causing problems with other dogs, they admitted he wasn't, but still insisted on crating him. I expressed that I didn't want him crated unless absolutely necessary and suggested temporary separation if needed. Despite this, I later noticed my dog frequently came home with scratched, blistered, and occasionally bleeding paws (photos attached). These injuries only occurred after his daycare visits. The final straw came on New Year's Eve. I scheduled daycare in advance and was assured they would maintain their regular hours despite the holiday. On the day of, I dropped my dog off at 7:30 AM and headed to work. Around an hour later, I received a call from an employee laughing, saying they were closing at 3 PM instead of 5 PM because she had dinner reservations at 4:30. When I explained I couldn't pick him up until 4 PM and that I wasn't informed of the early closure, she rudely responded, "There's a sign on the door I put up at 8 AM. You should have read it." Since I dropped him off before 8 AM, there was no way for me to know. She continued laughing and dismissively said, "That's not my problem. You need to pick him up at 3." I had to leave work early, use PTO, and inconvenience my manager to resolve this. Hoping for a better experience, my fiancé and I decided to give their agility classes a chance, as they had positive reviews for those services. Unfortunately, this was another disappointment. The instructor, Kathy, was disorganized, impatient, and frequently made passive-aggressive remarks to both owners and dogs. Her demeanor created unnecessary stress during classes. After attending only two of the six prepaid classes, we decided to withdraw. Although the class package cost $180, we didn't request a refund, as I had already seen other reviews reporting similar issues with refunds. Overall, this facility has consistently demonstrated poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of care for both dogs and their owners. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their dog's well-being or a professional experience.

Excited to go to doggie daycare!

This is not a good spot for anyone who is traveling with dogs. Editing to add that I posted the comment immediately after speaking with a representative of the business who told me different info than what the business owner replied. She asked if my senior dog had been boarded before and I said yes, explaining that I travel around the country and board my dogs quarterly and send them to daycare monthly. She was clear that they have phased out accepting senior dogs who haven't been their clients. She also said I needed several days of daycare to assess temperament. It sounds like there may be some disconnects between this company's policies and what their reps say. This can probably be remedied with some training. I appreciate the kind response from the business owner (+1 star for that) and wish Friends of Toto all the best as they get the communication issue with prospective clients sorted.

Afterwards the driver displayed the middle finger. I hope that there wasn't a clients' pet in the van as the driver could have caused an accident and clearly was only looking out for themselves and not the other drivers on the road. If they treat their business like they drive, I would never trust them with a loving part of my family. You should be ashamed of yourself.

The pick-up and drop off service is really convenient, especially for families with busy schedules and/or young kids, like ours. Minnie always comes back from daycare happy and exhausted! We have also used NPC's boarding services for anywhere from 1 night to several weeks at a time. I have never once worried about her care or wellbeing while she is staying at NPC. The owners are incredibly kind, caring people who treat Minnie like she is their own dog. Absolutely no cold, lonely cages like most boarding places use. Instead, Minnie gets to be comfortable on the couch with her second family while we are away. NPC really treats all of their customers and their pets as family; I feel very lucky to have a service like theirs in the neighborhood! NPC has been an absolute godsend during busy or stressful times for my family (the birth of my son, or my cross-country travels due to my mom's cancer diagnosis) -- my dog receiving high quality, reliable care is a given, because we know that NPC is there to help.
