I go to Kevin from DaVi nails but he's out of town so I went here. First visit it seemed great. Got a basic pedicure, chrome nails, $100 later.... Prices not bad for what I asked for. And then 4 days later my nail cracked, and my real nail underneath was separating itself. That's never happened. Came in today and they fixed it. I'm no nail expert... but she put nail glue underneath my separated nail and then filed the chrome off and painted it again.... Sooo I guess we will see how long that lasts. Got home tonight and all of the chrome nails are chipping. They are very kind and personable..... but the quality doesn't match up- even my feet from my pedicure there are already scratchy feeling and there is a fuzzy stuck in the polish. I guess next time I will wait for Kevin to come back. read more

I love this nail salon! I have been there three times so far and I've decided it's my new nail place. The pricing is very fair and they do a great job! My (that's her name) hand painted cats on my nails! And Kevin does nails carefully and pays close attention. I really appreciate that both techs who have done my nails care about the health of my nails. They haven't hard filed them down and have treated my nails and hands with such care.... no other nail place that I've been to- and I mean ever- had cared that much about the health of my natural nails. I haven't had a pedicure here yet but I can't wait until I do! I wish they were open on Mondays! I will try to remember to come back here and post some pics. read more

I visited based on Yelp reviews and was not disappoint. I called ahead for an appointment, and was glad that I did, because a few walk-ins had to come back later due to demand. On first entry, the decor is pleasing, and there's no overpowering chemical smell. All of the areas appear clean and sanitized, and the supplies are neat and in good order. There are tons of polish colors to choose from, and the friendly staff helped me to find just what I was looking for. It's been almost 2 weeks and my gel manicure is in excellent shape, with no chips or peeling. The staff were thorough and efficient, despite being busy, I felt they did a good job and cared about the end result and my satisfaction with the service. My pedicure was also excellent. I just had ANOTHER terrible experience at CANI nails. The shop does not know how to provide good service to customers. After making a reservation, I walked in and was told I would have to reschedule for another day (even though other people were getting service). Kevin, the manager, was terrible and his explanations-for-the-rescheduling didn't make any sense and he delivered the news with zero sincerity. Called ahead for an appointment with my friend. They said they could take us both for manicures and gave us an appointment time. They started one of us just 10 minutes past the time we were promised, and they started the other an hour late! Then the woman taking care of me didn't just cut my cuticle, but actually took a sizable chunk of flesh out of my finger. It bled on and off for 2 days! After the manicure was done I noticed she didn't even finish the rest of my cuticles after the finger she had cut, so my manicure looked unfinished. My friend and I didn't even get to spend time together like we wanted since they didn't start us at the same time. My nails started chipping the day after. Nice people, but terrible service. They shouldn't make promises or appointments they can't keep. We will not be returning to this business. read more

a Made an appt for a manicure and full set of acrylic nails. Worked so fast it was no wonder there were mistakes. Most of the nails are lopsided. They were filed to different shapes and the finish shape was not what I asked for. Two of the nails are extremely crooked. When I pointed this out, Kevin filed a little more, but it didn't come close to fixing the problem. He forgot to do the feature nail, but by that time I didn't bother saying anything else. He pretty much just slapped on the nails and I was shuffled out the door, for the next client. The manicure never happened. There seemed to be a language barrier that no amount of my explaining what I wanted crossed. Either that or the customer service is just that bad. read more

I showed Kevin a picture of what I wanted for my nails. Almond shaped ombré nails. First thing I found really odd was, he never matched the length for my nails. Both nails on each hand were uneven --my pinkies being the MOST noticeable difference. I asked him to make my nails shorter, and he promised to do so, but never cut them any shorter. I also asked him if he could round them more, he told me "I know what I'm doing, just be quiet" in such a sassy tone?... I've also never seen anyone use THIS much dip powder when doing ombré nails either. I asked him if he can make them less thick, but explained to me that my nails will crack or break if its too thin. Ive done my nails before at a different place and they were never THIS thick. He also kept getting powder all over my fingers. He yanked a big chunk of it off my fingers and I flinched. Then he made a weird joke saying "Is that your boyfriend over there? I hope he doesnt do anything to me if I accidentally hurt you". It wasn't exactly word for word, but the remark he made was similar. He also made my nails incredibly wide as well. Not to mention, Kevin kept getting distracted when he was doing my nails. In the middle of doing my nails, he got up and said "this girl will take over, I have to go pick up my kid". I just?? was so confused and agitated the whole time. The girl who took over fixed everything that Kevin messed up. I forgot to ask for her name but she did the best she could, despite making me bleed on my left thumb. I asked her if my nails were suppose to be this thick, she explained the same thing as Kevin, and started to tell me things that were unnecessary, like how "they are still new to this technique". So it really made me think: they don't know what they were doing... at all. It was just really frustrating and annoying that it took so long and messed up so bad. If anyone wants to get ombré nails from this place, don't. ESPECIALLY not from Kevin. I'm not satisfied with my nails and I didn't even want to speak up because after the first few times I said anything he told me to be quiet because "he knows what he's doing". So I got my nail & toes done there. I loved the color and everyone was so nice but the lady did my nails end up hurting my toe. A few hours after I got them done my toe was hurting, puss came out of it, redness. Never in my life have I had ingrown nail or fungus/infections! It's been almost a week and it still hurts. I just moved to Saline at the end of last summer and I haven't explored much. Wanted my nails done for my birthday on the 4th and they got me in right away!! Super nice staff and all very conversational. Not to mention, super cleanly! Because of COVID they were taking the extra steps to be clean and clean off all seats/areas before customers sat AND had sanitizer everywhere.
