They immediately got me into my new storage unit, it was very clean for an outside unit which I was impressed. Way better than other larger companies I have used in the past. Compared to other major storage companies in the area they were priced the best for the square footage they provided. The owners are super friendly and will even help you unload things into your storage unit if needed. I cannot say enough great things about this company if you were looking for a reliable and safe storage here is your place.

Luckily the alarm sounded and they only took my things out of the trailer and dropped them back down before running out. Then today I came to finally retrieve my trailer since owner hasn't put up any security cameras in the back area where people who actually have access to get inside are the ones STEALING! I noticed I was missing my lawn blower and some fishing rods. Long story short just avoid this place. Nothing was done to fix this issue nor did they care because they personally didn't loose anything.

My contract says the next payment would be the agreed upon rate due on April 1st. On April 1st I noticed I was charged $34 more than my contracted rate. When I called management Ronnie (new property Mngr) stated that there was a new price increase!! This is unfair and frankly illegal as my contract states that tenant must be given 30 days notice before any changes in price. Is this a sudden COVID-19 price increase??

We visited several and AAA Riley Fuzzell Storage to be the cleanest and well maintained storage lots compared to several in the area. The owner operator is friendly and helpful but has established a list of do's and don'ts that we both respect and are delighted to find in place. The lot is fully paved and easily accessible from the Grand Parkway feeder road heading West. The pricing was reasonable covered storage not to mention the security provided. The best thing is that this storage location is just 5 minutes from our home so essentially it is like storing our prized investment right next to us and it sits under a recently built covered area. This company was not transparent with their rates. There was no estimate offered or maximum charge for the move, as (I discovered later) they're required to provide. There was no communication surrounding the moving supplies, their cost, no itemized list of supplies provided, only an arbitrary "supplies - $350" written on the invoice, nor even provided after the fact upon request. One of the company's partners, Scott, was unwilling to provide answers to my billing questions, it was difficult to complete a sentence without him interrupting me & making legal threats. The movers also destroyed my $5k mattress. When brought to Scott's attention, he blamed me for not inquiring about, nor purchasing, additional insurance coverage. The information, he claimed, was provided to me - it was not. There's a line to initial on the contract, to acknowledge receipt (which is blank), & that I was expected to flip through & read everything on the clipboard. I was expected to rummage through someone else's clipboard without any reference of its existence. Regarding the destroyed mattress, they offered me $150 for it. When it became clear that communicating with Scott would be unproductive, I requested to speak with someone else from the company but it remained unacknowledged until Scott suddenly ended the call. I've unfortunately had to consult with legal counsel to determine how to best further pursue it. This matter currently remains unresolved.

Not sure who the new owners are but the woman that runs this facility needs lessons in customer service. I have had a few issues with her but the most recent was Feb 2024. I had fraud on my bank account and my bank froze my account. They reopened a new account and wrote a letter to my creditors so that I would not be held accountable for late fees and such. I called A1 mini storage to advise of my issue and the gentleman that I spoke with advised to send a check when I got my new ones in and to send the letter as well. Which is what I did. The woman at the facility called me and asked about the payment and I advised that I had just sent it in along with the letter. I advised what the gentleman had said, she started raising her voice and advised this was not her problem, that I needed to pay the $25 late fee. I told her that in all my years I had never experienced the lack of customer service that I have from her. She just started yelling. I really think she has a mental problem because I didn't see a reason for her to carry on the way she was. She was screaming at me and I couldn't say a word so I hung up on her. The times before I just assumed she was having a bad day but this is not an excuse. Needless to say I paid the late fee and am NO longer a customer. I will never advise for anyone to rent from these folks and I hope that many more will go elsewhere. Too many rental facilities in the same area to be treated this way.
