We went through the process and custom ordered a very nice very expensive chair. Unfortunately after the chair was ordered, my dad passed away I want to say a few weeks later. Things are a bit of a blur with regard to time, it has been really rough since my Dad passed so you'll have to forgive me. Anyway, in the process of the ordering of the chair, Rick made sure I got a temporary chair that was delivered so that Dad would have something to use when he came home. Dad never even sat in that brand new lift chair, and the two delivery men were just absolutely awesome. When Dad passed, I called Rick and explained that my Dad had passed, He contacted the company who was going to be making the chair I ordered and we managed to cancel the order, and I was fully refunded, and the fellas came back to pick up the chair. I do not know who has left negative reviews here, but they are clearly unfounded in my opinion. EVERY single person I spoke to from Medtech was amazing. From the ladies answering the phones, to the delivery guys, to Rick. I know it has been nearly a year and a half since we went through this, but I think about how awesome and amazing everyone was often. I just want to say that Medtech deserves 10 stars. They went above and beyond to help me and my Dad, even though he never was able to use the chair. I just want to say thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You are all really awesome people who I feel truly care and it shows through you just being you, and looking out for your customers. I'm sorry this review is coming so delayed, things have just been really hard since my Dad passed. They have a lot of merchandise in the warehouse on display and can order if you don't find what you are looking for. Pricing is very reasonable with quality items. They also do repairs and warranty work for the products they sale. Delivery available and they also have a lot of items that you can rent. (Larger products). It was a short conversation as my dedicated and caring wife was told something to the effect of "Don't Worry, it will all work out!" She was right in the end, but only after great efforts on Gayle's part to procure a wheelchair, portable commodes, and ice machine for the knee, not to mention meals, condition monitoring, and spending almost a week away from home. MIL wildly underestimated what was needed, maybe out of pride, stubbornness, or need for control. Gayle was happy to help, and while MIL was very grateful, it was both a fulfilling and frustrating experience. We immediately needed the wheel chair and Mobility Concepts was there for us. First it was a rental and then as recovery continued, we ended up buying it. Store staff helped us get what we needed. The wheel chair was more expensive than Amazon, but sometimes in a key situation, saving a few bucks is not the point. The location is a bit hard to find in North Carson City. You turn off on Hot Springs Road, and immediately look for a rainbow store front just past a quick turn on Sage. You enter through what looks like a giant vitamin/supplement store, with the mobility equipment being in the next room to your left.

I thought nobody would be able to get something done quickly. I called around and asked for referrals. I got a quote from a couple vendors but after talking with Jared at NV Mobility, I was so impressed that I immediately went with them. First, Jared got right back to me even though it was a weekend. He set up a time to come by and measure the next day. Luckily, he maintains a decent inventory so he had what I needed (even the extra length rail) in stock. He came back that same week and installed the system. My dad liked it so much that he ordered another custom lift for another stairway in the residence. This one was much more complicated as it went around a corner. Jared measured exactly, ordered what he needed and installed it as soon as he received the parts. In what was otherwise a very challenging time, Jared and NV Mobility we're truly a bright spot. He was kind, professional and fast! He's offered many times that we should always call with any questions. Top notch service and very good at what he does.

NOPE! that was stupid on our part. Sunday morning we went to the ER, and they took an x-ray of that in my ribs, and they said my hip was broken, so your femur bone that comes out of your joint that neck area right there broke in half Ouch! So they took me by transport vehicle to Northern Nevada Medical Center, where I had scheduled surgery in a couple hours after that . And then he met me in my room at Northern Nevada Medical Center. It was a really small room, but I was glad to be by myself. Well, I said surgery was scheduled at 6 PM, but they took me at 3:30 and I was actually in recovery by 5:30. Seem to go pretty easy. Man I'm still a week later in so much pain, but hopefully I'm getting better. We installed this chairlift and I was so surprised he came on Thursday and had it installed on Sunday That was so fast and I'm so happy I can now go upstairs and sleep in bed with my hubby instead of downstairs by myself. Thanks, Nevada mobility for letting me be able to get around a little more. I kinda laugh about it now because it's like official old farts with a chairlift, but hey if I can move around, but better, I will take it. I'm in love with it, when I asked him if you guys do it so fast he says yes we'd like to keep some in stock because people like you. He says we do our best to get it installed pretty fast. You can't go anywhere you can't do anything in your house so we install it quicker, than they can go upstairs and be with their family. Very impressed with this Company and the professionalism!! My oxygen unit was serviced this past week by a gentleman named Devon. This is the 2nd time Devon has come to my home to service this oxygen unit. I am writing to commend him for his professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and on-time scheduled arrival. I hope he continues to work with Sierra Oxygen for a long time because I feel he does an excellent job for them and I welcome his warm personality every time he comes. He has, in my opinion, gone over & above re-illustrating how to use the cannister of oxygen if so needed and answered some questions I had forgotten answers to. I hope Devon will be recognized or compensated in some special way for his integrity and detail to his job. He is indeed an asset to your company and it shows! I also want to express my faith and gratefulness in having Dr. McDonald as my Pulmonologist. I feel very fortunate to have him as my Specialist and would trust him with my life. I have been a patient of his for probably 10-15 years & have used a CPAP nearly every night since then. I had suffered for 12+ years feeling tired all the time - even after a 9 - 12 hour nite's sleep. After a sleep study, I was put on the CPAP machine nightly and FINALLY felt rested for the first in many years of my life and since then. I don't go anywhere without it; I flew alot on business and it still went with me every time. Thank you for making my life so much better, Dr. McDonald. I think Sierra Oxygen Service has a fine staff representing them here in Carson City. They have fixed a minor part on my oxygen unit just prior to having neck /spinal cord surgery which I was very thankful for. They always are ready to help in any way they can. We asked for a refund and were told that we had to pay for the shipping. We received the acceptance to return the merchandise via email from the owner. We shipped the product back with a return receipt on our dime. As of 2018 we never received our refund back and they have their product back. We followed up with phone calls and emails; however, we received one nasty email back stating he didn't have the money to refund us back. I don't recommend purchasing anything from this site. This business is dishonest and publishes false advertising

The hotel we were staying were out, but gave me the name of a business in Sparks Nevada. I called and spoke to a man named Don. He said that he had one left and it would be a three day minimum. I said we were only going to be there for a day and a half. He thought about it and said that he would do it for $125.00. Even thought that was a lot we needed it. He said he would bring it the next morning. I said I would think about it and call back. Within the hour I called back. A women answered took my name and said that she would have Don call me back. The next morning he called. He now had a waiting list. I was the first one on the list, but now once again he said that it was a three day minimum. I said we had agreed on the one day. But since he could get more money now he said we could not have it. This company does not care about the health and welfare of customers, but the more money he can get. We were not able to see most of the event because of this. I want people to know before they do business with Sierra Mobility Scooters.

4/7/26 I need a new…read morewheelchair. This one needs power or power assist. My current chair is 12 years old, doesn't have that and I've now got long term injuries to my shoulders and wrists. It's not working well for me at this stage of my life. Is this company reliable? I did business with NuMotion in Fresno, CA for my previous wheelchair. I don't remember having any problems. They were kind as far as I remember. Here in Nevada... NuMotion refuses to work with me because they insist my insurance makes them do an "at home" evaluations and since I live in North Dakota they can't do an at home evaluation. My insurance only covers me in Nevada. I have to get the wheelchair "prescribed" in NV and filled in NV and the insurance says that no evaluation is necessary. So where's the problem? NuMotion won't sell me the chair because they "need" to do an "at home evaluation". Chrissy or Christie at NuMotion spent 15 minutes on the phone lying to me and telling me it was my insurance... when it very plainly is not. It's her company. Three separate insurance reps from Anthem that I spoke with said that they just pay for it. They don't need any home evaluation. The DOCTOR thought I needed a new chair (that's a long medical story) and the company asked to sell me said chair refuses to because they can't see my house?!? It feels like discrimination. The PT that was set up to do my eval said that a large number of the patients she sees are HOMELESS and here I'm the one being told that they can't help me because while here in NV, I live in a camper. (4 months of the year.) They COULD go through NuMotion in my home state but refuse to do that. Further... I feel by what "Chrissy" said to me was discriminatory. *UPDATE, I talked to Renee today 4/8/26. She confirmed everything I said here. She also confirmed it is NUMOTION that is denying me service. She confirmed it's because I'm in a camper 4 months of the year. 4/9 - Numotion customer service at corporate called. What a joke. She changes the story to: we can't sell you a wheelchair because my state of residence isn't in Nevada. That's stupid. First, it's the state of my INSURANCE. Second, I know d*mned well that the snowbirds I know get care where they need it. Even if they aren't in their "home" state. How ridiculous. They got it in their head that they were going to act with prejudice and discrimination toward me. And did.

We understand that it takes awhile to get approval from the insurance company, order all the parts and put it together. Customer service was great communication through our Numotion app and via phone. Randy came to the house and put the finishing touches on the chair. He helped with instructions and my son did a test drive. So happy and grateful. The folks at Numotion were awesome!
