This CVS is better than any CVS I went to when I lived in Chesapeake, Virginia, it's better than all of the CVS stores/pharmacies I went to in the Charleston South Carolina area, when I lived there and it's better than any CVS I've had to go to when I was out of state for any reason. I've personally, never had to wait in line at the CVS. Literally not even one car in front of me. Well, actually, there was one car, one time but it was actually driving away as I pulled up. Not that a few cars would impact my review - still 5 stars! The gentleman pharmacist is so laid-back, but at the same time I always see him just working away and busy filling Rx and helping. I feel safe, knowing that he's filling my prescriptions. There was a lady pharmacist that has helped me before, she was very kind & and seemed to be excellent at her job. I really believe that gentleman pharmacist deserves a BIG RAISE...most likely both of the pharmacist that I've dealt with deserve a raise. I've just dealt with a gentleman more. I trust this pharmacy. I loved the fact that when I go there, I know it's not gonna be a hassle. I've never seen or heard a customer have a hard time with this CVS, attention to things like that, because I really take serious consideration about who I do business with...so I notice a lot of little details. I truly believe that people need to be really careful about which CVS they're reviewing, because there's no way that all the negative reviews for this CVS are accurate. Please be mindful of which CVS, or which location of any multi location business your reviewing, so people can really know. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt I should give credit where it's due. My husband who chose to go inside the store today to pick up a prescription for me said that he felt a good energy when he walked in the store. He said the store was very clean and neat. He said that the associate smiled and welcomed him as well. He even had to use the restroom and he said it was very clean. I hope this helps someone looking for a good pharmacy with excellent associates. I have to say the pharmacist is 100% pure excellence when it comes to doing his job and I am pretty sure the lady pharmacist deserves the same recognition, because my husband said that he was pretty sure that the lady filled my Rx today, and he had no issues whatsoever. They had already run the prescription through my good RX - no problem! It was very affordable as well. Another plus, this pharmacy always puts the right caps on my bottles. Most of them don't remember that note in the computer. Little things like that are important - it's attention to detail for their patients. My family appreciates this CVS and it's all because of the excellent customer service and excellent people. All I've noticed is 100% excellence when interacting with their patients at the pharmacy. Both times, the pharmacist was rude, unprofessional, and openly hostile--rolling his eyes, huffing and puffing, and speaking in an aggressive, dismissive manner. It wasn't just directed at me; I also witnessed him interacting similarly with a customer at the drive-through window, as if he was waiting for that person to question something so he could pounce. The issue involved a manufacturer's coupon I have successfully used for over eight years. He repeatedly insisted I didn't understand how these coupons work and told me that because he has "been a pharmacist for years," he knew better than I did. I already knew that the only time these coupons fail is due to how they are entered or processed in the CVS system--but he would not listen. After I finally gave up and asked him to just check me out, he then asked to see my paperwork again. When I couldn't immediately pull it back up on my phone, he admitted that he only wanted it so he could prove that I was wrong--not to help resolve the issue, but to rub my nose in what he believed was my mistake. That level of pettiness and lack of professionalism was shocking. When I got home, I reviewed the fine print myself and confirmed that nothing supported what he was claiming. I have since asked my doctor to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy and will be taking my business elsewhere. After this experience, I will no longer use CVS for my family. She didn't ask me any questions about what i wanted makeup-wise the whole time. When totally done, she handed me a mirror and i was soooo disappointed with what I saw. My face was completely washed out with no color and my eyes were all browns and quite light. In no way what i asked for. She made it slightly darker at my request but i was totally bummed. I spent almost $50 on this and got nothing i asked for. The makeup made me look 10 years older rather than sultry Valentines. She used no color. I went home, my boyfriend I both agreed how bad and not me it was. I washed my face and redid my makeup myself. I will NEVERgo back for makeup at MAC again (except to buy new Russian Red lipstick).
