This place makes me feel like a kid. It's the exact kind of convenience store I remember going to on long road trips with my parents. Fluorescent lights, linoleum tile, big league chew, and an aroma cigarette smoke, faint.. but ever present, engrained into the very structure of the building. The gas pumps are mainly just for show. This may also be one of the only convenience stores that doesn't carry an ultra selection of high abv local craft brews in 22 oz bottles. They have a couple of six packs for Highland, but it would seem as though the beer distributors haven't found or tend to avoid this spot. One truly unique item they carry here is Budweiser in 8oz cans. Also available are a wide array of gold chains and medallions, gilligan hats with phrases such as "Keep it 100" and "YOLO", and a surprisingly large selection of incense. The owners are highly pleasant people. A wonderful couple. Very sweet, excited to have you in their store. I won't be heading here for supplies before a party or anything... but I will come here for a healthy dose of Southern nostalgia.

Today as I stopped by to gey an oil change and inspection, I put my registration card on the dash and took my keys to the employee, as I have always been instructed in the past. A young man that I handedd my keys to was extremely rude. As I was telling him what I was there for, he started talking over me to tell me i needed to go back and bring him my registration. OK, that's fine, I went back to the vehicle and got the registration. So I went inside and waited almost an hour. Then a different young man brought me my keys and the ticket and indicated that they were finished. A quick look at the receipt told me that they had not done the oil change. Obviously the first kid was so busy talking over me he didn't pay attention to why I was there. I told the second young man that the oil was supposed to have been changed too. He apologized and said he would take care of that. So after nearly another hour wait, he brings me the ticket. It was $123 for and inspection and oil change! My last oil change here was $45! Now I know gas and oil have gone up in price, but doubled? I could have had the oil changed at a 10 minute oil change shop with synthetic oil for $55!! As I said I know prices have gone up for petroleum products. But courtesy and respect towards customers is free. But today it was non-existent. And it cost your business a decades long customer.
