Interactive selfie museum but with photos and sculptures made of candy. In each room there's a treasure chest with candy some same take one some so take a few so I do recommend bringing a bag. Once she warmed up to everything my 2 year old had a blast especially in be confetti room and marshmallow pit. I was a bit turned off from that due to people being barefoot in basically something I'm sure they don't disinfect but germs are everywhere and with Covid still very much a thing I'm taking a chance anywhere I go. The staff was very friendly inside and knowledgeable. In the end we enjoyed ourselves but is it $28 per person worth NO bc once we got into the groove of things it was over but seeing my kid laugh and come out here shell was.
Overall it's a great experience. The kids really enjoyed it. The staff is really friendly and engages you throughout. This was our second time going since we went last time it was in Atlanta. I think the staff really makes the experience
Candytopia is fun for all ages. I took my four year niece and she said she loved it. She definitely loved the multiple photo opportunities and interactive parts.
This place is a giant sensory experience. Candy is the lure to get your kids in the door. Really they only get a small amount of candy. I loved all of the different sensory opportunities. They had movement, smell, touch, sound, sight and taste. This is a great place for those who are sensory seeking or need to work on sensory processing. I loved this so much more than I thought I would. Really worth the cost.
Fun! Date worthy for sure (and tx are a deal at $28). We enjoyed the hour-ish we spent & would definitely suggest it as a random adult date.... Very vivid rooms and the candy animals, figurines, and especially the Marilyn portrait are so detailed! I did expect more candy to be given out - lots of stuff to buy at the shop at the end (hmm). The shower of confetti was fun - the marshmellow pit was disappointing & a lot smaller than the pics and online images make you think! And I didn't really want to put my purse and shoes in a cubby... The free cameras weren't working in most rooms which was a bummer- we got some good pics but I really wanted their pro ones like I've seen on Instagram! I'd have loved a little more Willy Wonka but it's a cute place for an afternoon treat!
I was really disappointed with Candytopia. I'm glad I got to see it since it is only a temporary pop up and the idea is really cool. But I do agree with the other subpar reviews here that say it's overrated and underwhelming. Maybe this was a lot better when it first opened, but the inside seems kind of dirty and worn down now. A lot of candy pieces were missing from the exhibits. Some of the photo ops included laying on the floor as an illusion, but it just didn't look clean to me since everyone was walking and laying there. There's also a marshmallow pit that would be a great photo op but it's kind of a germ haven and other people there said it smelled bad in there. Don't be fooled by all the cute and artsy pictures that people are posting on Instagram. All the photos I saw taken here looked a million times better in picture than in person. There were only 2 types of people here: families with young children (they looked like they had fun!) and young women (teenage to mid 20's) who come here SOLELY for the Instagram photos. They come here only to use it as a backdrop for Instagram. It was quite a maze to be navigating all those people and those in the midst of posing for pictures. After you get your ticket checked (buy online) and come in, you wait in the front room. Then you are taken into the first room where an introduction is given, and you are free to explore the rest of the rooms at a leisurely pace. The rooms have a theme to them and paintings/structures with candy. At the end is the confetti room, marshmallow pit, and the gift shop. The only room I really enjoyed was the confetti room. Probably stay away from this room if you are a germaphobe. But I thought it was super cool. Someone throws confetti on you when you walk in. There is also a hole on a picture of a pig where you stuff confetti into it and then it sprays confetti all over you. I didn't do the photo op in this room, but this one is probably the best. There is a wheel and a camera that takes a picture from above when you stand on the wheel. There's also air blowers to clean the confetti off of you. There is candy in the rooms and some of them are Lindt chocolates, Air heads, pixie sticks, candy bracelets, and caramel apple lollipops. I think for $20, this would have been fine. But it was $33 per person. It's a little excessive for how much there is to see here. It is a really cool and fun idea. I did enjoy seeing how creative the art was and I liked the confetti room. I think younger kids would really enjoy this place. Also parking is easy, just park in the deck for Publix.
Fun times at Candytopia! This time it was at a more convenient location parking was plentiful! The exhibit candy rooms were a little different. The walk through seemed shorter this time around but we still had lots of fun and got lots of candy! My kids still felt like the marshmallow room was the best room lol. My fav was the Prince pic and guitar because I'm a huge Prince fan! The confetti room is my 2nd fav! I would like a little more history on this traveling experience. Probably won't do a 3rd time unless they add more to the experience. Overall it was fun! See pics
I will be honest. This place is strictly for kids lol. It was so fast for the amount of money and you move through the rooms fast . Honey this can be $10-15 dollars. You only can get one piece of candy. At the end they have a candy store that's over priced.
I love love LOVE Candytopia. Here everything is made of candy. They have about 14 crafted rooms and environments and each of of them were awesome. You can also get free candy in every room. WHO DOESNT LOVE FREE CANDY? My favorite room I think was the one where you get showered in confetti (no worries, you can use their air hoses to get rid of it) and of course the marshmallows pool! This place is SO IG worthy, and It's a great experience for kids, and adults. The staff is great and they have a contagious energy too. Candytopia is located in buckhead near Lenox Square, and there's plenty of parking in their parking deck. ESPAÑOL Me encanto Candytopia. Aquí todo está hecho de caramelos. My girlfriends and I visited Candytopia on a day trip to Atlanta. It was one of the most instagrammable experiences I've ever been to. The framed artwork and statues are made out of thousands of tiny pieces of candy and are so cool! I love all the pop art references like Frida, Cardio, Prince, and Van Gogh. Selfies look fabulous. Each room offers a treasure chest of candy to enjoy a few pieces. There's a ball pit filled with foam that looks like marshmallows which is fun to jump in even as an adult. Lots of nostalgia! They offer several photo stations which make for amazing shots. For about $30 and an hour of silly fun this was a cool experience. Some of the workers aren't as thrilled as is needed to keep the fun feeling and a few of the sculptures need fixing.
So not what I expected based off previous reviews. This place is definitely overrated and overpriced. Don't get me wrong we had fun but I was expecting more exhibits and way more candy period. The candy they provide is good but they are very stingy with it, only wanting you to take one. Like seriously who only eats one Lindt chocolate truffle! The first two rooms are guided just basically giving you the rules and background of candytopia. Nothing major and sorta rushed through. There's a sign outside telling you to download an app, I still have no idea where the app came into play. They also have you to go to a website to signup for a qr code, which they'll later scan and they email you pictures you take. You're let loose in the third room which is more so for kids. It has the slides and swings etc. We honestly didn't spend much time in here however we did stop to smell the flowers. There's a mirror corridor that takes you to a pop art esque room. There's a mirror chair that's great for photo ops. From there it's a room with 2 photo ops, one which the qr code is needed. Then there was an underwater room. Nothing special so moving on. Then comes my favorite room where there's confetti EVERYWHERE! Definitely brought out my inner child. There was a unicorn and flying pigs. I'll go ahead and address the staff who all were amazing. They got us good asking us to back out of the way of a picture. They were really setting us up for a confetti explosion from the pig butts on the wall lol Also they are prepared with air blowers to help deconfetti yourself. The last room is where you'll find the marshmallow pit. You only have like 10 minutes to play and take pictures. They definitely should have a better way of taking pictures here. This camera is set up in the middle of the pit so there were all kinds of random people showing in pur picture. Overall it was fun, some of the exhibits are definitely showing signs of wear. Good Saturday fun with my nieces, but once you've done it. Definitely no need to go back.
This was my first time at an interactive experience and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. I literally was a kid in a candy store with all the different rooms and pieces of artwork made of candy! I enjoyed seeing how many pieces were used and hours it took to create. The staff was super friendly and took pictures and videos upon request. I loved the free professional shots that were stationed in most of the exhibits. And last but certainly not least, the ENDLESS CANDY lol each room has hidden candy for you to take home If you haven't already, definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed!
A few neat things to look at, but it's small and geared heavily toward young children. Took us about 20 minutes to walk through the whole thing. A few of the rooms seemed pretty unsanitary in the past-pandemic age. Doesn't seem worth the $28/person entry fee unless you are bringing young kids.
I had an opportunity to visit Candytopia on Sunday June 13, 2021. I brought my 14 yr old daughter along with me & we were not disappointed! First, the staff is quite theatrical & they provide live narration for some of the rooms you will visit. Most rooms have free candy as well. We tried saltwater taffy, twizzlers, milk & dark chocolate, pixie sticks & tootsie pops. They encourage you to only take one or 2 so there is enough for everyone. There are plenty of cool photo opps, however the QC code for the sgr.rsh app did not work for me & I was unable to view any of the pictures we took at the venue. That is really disappointing because we worked hard to stage the pics & I have not seen any of them. That is my only negative. My favorite part was the blue sleeve you walk through right before the madshmallow pit. I thought that was a hoot! Really fun! I think Candytopia is awesome for great photo opps & children under 13. Older kids may not enjoy AS much, but its definitely a family-oriented event. I would go again, and maybe take my younger niece & nephew. read more
OK! If you haven't been here yet.. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING ON?? You probably are having to wait because tickets are selling like hot cakes!! For good reason too! This place was a full on delicious experience! From the people they had working there to all of the art, to the fun candy shop at the end! With every room being having its own character, you'll find yourself memorized and filled with excitement and all of the joy that this place brings. If you have little ones, this will be a place they won't forget! If you're like me and still a kid at heart, you won't regret checking this place out either! The staff was so friendly and helped you get the perfect IG post. Haha. I would recommend downloading the app ahead of time so that you can enhance your time there. This wasn't really highlighted to me and I wish I would've known ahead of time, but I was informed of the web link you'd use for their camera! SO! Be sure to get there before it's sold out! We took the girls and they had a blast! They enjoyed EVERYTHING. I found this place to be interesting and unique. Each room had a different surprise and candy. Lots of candy. I liked the aerial shots that were taken with the sugar rush code which was asked to be downloaded upon entry. My girls favorite room was the confetti room. I must say. I enjoyed that room as well. This was my first time visiting Candytopia! In my opinion, it was more so geared towards children. The rooms are cute and endless photo ops are available EVERYWHERE! ((Super thankful that I got to go early))Lines were long for photo ops so if that's something your interested in make sure you're prepared to wait. The hidden candy is a plus too! This place is def a good kid family outting if you have small kids and are looking to keep them entertained for an hour or so. read more

This is the most fun me & my teenager have had in a long time. Des our the long lines waiting and crowded spaces it was worth it. I would caution if your a germaphobe bring you some antibacterial wipes wear ya mask you'll be ok not a Covid protocol in sight but all the candy you could think of in each room! It's definitely a place to let your inner kids out even if you don't have kids & I would like to go in another city for a pop up event it exceeded my expectations! read more

Welcome to the Chocolate Factory 2019! It is family friendly and for all ages. I went with my friend for a special event and we had so much fun. I love the fact that you can go at your own pace and take as many pictures as you like. You get to take some candy with you so don't forget to taste the marshmallows Confetti will get all over you... ALL OVER YOU. You will spread confetti everywhere afterwards but we all need some in our lives read more
Candytopia was fantastic, totally worth the price. I highly suggest taking your time and not letting any enthusiastic young ones in your group tug you out of one room to the next because there is no going back, and my one regret was feeling like we finished too quickly. The staff is unbelievably charming and cheerful, just as "on" as those who work at a place like Disney World, ready at each and every turn to make sure the guests are enjoying themselves. As an adult, I enjoyed every moment as much as my young daughters, and while I don't see a reason to return, I would recommend any kid, young adult, old kid, real adult, sweet-tooth, or just about anybody visit Candytopia while it's still in town. read more

It's located on side of the Publix and Target plaza. So free parking which is always a plus. Every room was a lot of fun. You got to take home candy from each room. The confetti room was messy. I still have confetti in my purse and stuck to my jacket. Make sure you don't wear anything the confetti can get stuck to. The marshmallow room was a blast. read more
Candytopia is such a fun experience for kids and adults alike located right next to Lenox mall in Atlanta! There are multiple rooms that are each super unique and different including a chocolate room, art made from candy, rainbow confetti craziness, marshmallow pit and more. There's also a bunch of candy you can get in each room. Photo ops are everywhere and this place is literally made for instagram. Super cute! read more

This place was pretty awesome the work was well developed and the candy was amazing. The gift shop was a little pricey but I guess that's any gift shop lol. I wish there was more candy that was given out. The take one signs where kinda funny. Everyone grabbed more then one but I guess they should have expected that. lol read more
A stroll down candy lane on any given day is always a whimsical adventure. I loved the energy in the atmosphere from the beginning to the end. The staff was truly amazing, excited and happy to be there. This exuberant energy made us just as excited and happy to be there as well. The art was fun, innovative and very creative. You sat there wondering how in the world any one could create such masterpieces. I loved that the pieces were diverse in every aspect. There was something for everyone. As we moved through the path I was simply amazed. I'm all about the interactive interactions and that is one of the positive highlights that Candytopia had to offer. Of course having some awesome treats throughout was a definite plus. So because I'm a marshmallow junky I fell in love with that display plus I was able to indulge in marshmallow right there So I must share my draw backs. They were minimal and can be controlled. We live in a society where social media is life. So taking a picture at the correct angle, right lighten is important to most. Well that's not true for everyone. Some of us just want to grab a picture for memories. So I will strongly encourage the staff to gently remind the "the models" that their photo shot is up because there are others waiting. Candytopia is definitely family friendly environment but I encourage adults, visitors, if you to have a fun date actually it's a wonderful experience for every and anyone. At the end of your walk, the world of candy is waiting for you.......well that's what I call it......it's is a must drop in to see. This was such a fun and cute experience! My son is 13 months so I was nervous that he'd be too small to really enjoy it but he did! It's colorful and lots of things to touch so he was good! There are 5 rooms and a marshmallow pit. You can spend as much time as you want in each room but once you go forward you can't go back so take your time. I spent about 2 hours total. Also, if you have small children be extra careful in the marshmallow pit. Overall, I wish it was a little longer but I enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and engaging and there's free candy at every exhibit which is nice. I didn't download the app for pictures, I just took my own. Ain't nobody got time (or phone storage) for all that lol. Typical prices in the gift shop at the end so take that as you will. Great for families and social media/photo lovers. read more

Visited ATL for a cousins birthday weekend and got the opportunity to experience Candytopia while I was there. A very cool and unique experience. It had art work made completely out of candy, a marshmallow pit, treasure chests in the different spaces stocked with a variety of candies like pixi stix, tootsie pops, and airheads. All of the staff were awesome and made the experience what it was. The songs were the best especially when we got go the marshmallow pit. The only reason for my lower rating (3.5) would be the cost it was on the higher end and they just had a few themed spaces and cheaper complimentary candy. It is an experience and definitely one of a kind. read more

What do you get when Willy Wonka and Lisa Frank knock boots? CANDYTOPIA!!!! Holy crap, this was the best birthday gift. So... They are set up on Peachtree. We had free parking in covered garage. +5pts! When walking up we are quickly greeted by two girls.(soooo kind) They checked our tickets and ushered is in. Immediately it's sensory overload. You almost dont know where to look. We had to use the restroom so they had to escort us eyes covered... Lol. They had such a good sense of humor about it. Ok... So... Drumroll... We are all given a piece of candy and time to look around as staff explain the rules. Basically it's like this. You can only go forward. Take your time. You can do everything but lick the artwork. Have fun. Take lots of photos. And we are off...I don't want to give away too much. I will say this-the staff is unbelievable. Every one of them it's so knowledgeable, kind and willing to take pictures for you, with you, and of you. It was such an amazing experience. There were tons of children but I'm convinced I had the best time celebrating my 37th birthday there. Each room is so different. I was concerned with what I would be able to see, being blind... Because of the layout I'm not sure I missed anything. I was able to touch, smell and feel the art. The staff was dressed up so they stood out. You collect candy every time you turn around. We left with a bag full. They also had a fantastic gift shop. I really wish I had gotten some pajamas. Guess I will go online. Was is worth the hype? Yes ! Was is worth the price of admission? Yes! Was it worth a two hour drive in the rain that took 5 ? Yes ! Was it everything I needed it to be and more? You bet your SWEET ass it was!!!! read more

It was amazing!! Truly a family friendly event. It's very organized. Purchase tickets online. Upon arrival, someone will meet you outside the venue to scan your ticket. Once you enter you have time to take pics get candy at entrance while they go over what to expect. It's a candy museum that you walk through and enjoy at your leisure! They have photo booths that you take pics at. Some didn't work. The only downfall about pics being emailed is that I yet to receive them. I emailed them. But sadly no response. You are allowed to take as many pics as you'd like with your own camera!! read more

What a fun way to spend my Sun morning! The Candytopia staff was so bubbly and knowledgeable of their event!!! I thought maybe it would just be enjoyable for the youngins. But nooooooooo adults will have a blast as well!!!! One can't help but smile during the entire experience and its just not that I had a sugar rush! Make sure all you candy lovers out there hit this spot before it leaves Atlanta!! read more

This place has all of the things that you thought you would imagine a candy place would have. They had separate rooms with different themes. Such as an area with mirrors and a play place for the kids. I loved how they incorporated old and new artists including the dear willy wonka. I'll say that you do have an opportunity to have candy in every room but please know that you will just get one piece for the most part. There are a lot of picture oops here especially when you get to the marshmallow pit! You feel like a big kid for sure! Remember to pack your patience if you're going on a weekend I'm sure it's a mad house. I didn't enjoy feeling like I was getting escorted through the first two rooms. Just know after that getting the rules etc you're let free. It takes about an hour or so to explore the sites and I will say that it was a tad bit over priced at 30 dollars a pop for what you saw. But I did it and I'm glad to say I did! Have fun and eat candy! They are only here until June! read more

Candytopia Was Ah mazing! So this year my husband and I decided not to throw a huge party for our little boy who turned the great eight. Instead we decided to just take him on a three day spree of fun. Well first on the list was candytopia. A group of about nine of us purchased tickets to go and boy I am glad we did. Not only did our little nuggets have a blast but so did all of the adults in the group. While the little loves enjoyed the marshmallow pool my personal favorite was the confetti room. Each room offered something new to do as well as a tasty treat. I love the picture apps. The staff was so nice happy playful and friendly. We all had an amazing experience here. The only disappointing thing is that it is not permanent. I would like to go again before its moved on. read more

Great concept! Fun for children of all ages. I like the idea of the guided tour at the beginning. It not only controlled the crowd but we were able to check out all of the cool things in each room with a little guidance. I didn't like the fact that we had to stand outside we waited 15 minutes to get in. read more

Surprised the girls and took them to Candytopia! Its kinda museum, kinda funhouse, kinda Willy wonka and the chocolate factory. Personally I would not have paid to go without kids in tow but seeing them enjoy it made it worth the $28+ pp price tag. They loaded up on candy and were smiling the entire time. Basically, you go room to room and see things made with candy, do a few fun things, grab some candy on the way in or out the room. Lots of photo ops along the way! Take the little ones for sure but save your coins if you have no littles to take! read more
This was an absolutely magical experience! You really have to go and see it for yourself. I went to the early 10:00 AM session on a Saturday morning and the energy was great! There was so much to see and do and they do not rush you through each exhibit. I had lots of opportunities to take photos of the different things without feeling like I was being hurried. It was a fun experience and we liked it! I had a good time ! It's good for a date night, girls night out or with the family. It offers a showcase of different rooms and floors of candy galore displays. Make sure you wear cute outfits for great pictures with comfortable shoes cause there is a lot to see and a lot of walking inside . My favorite is towards the end when you get to spend about 5 minutes in a pool of marshmallows . Even though this place was a blast , once was enough. It fulfill's it's purpose perfectly. I came , I conquered and I left happy!!! Candytopia makes life sweeter! read more

The last group at 8:30pm will have until 9:45pm to complete the experience.
Is it hard to find parking for this museum?
Not at all--Candytopia is located in the same building as Dick's Sporting Goods, Target, Publix, etc. in Buckhead so there is a multi-level deck full of free parking.
