I wanted to get the cutest owl cake for my like my own sister's baby shower. I started planning early since it was out of town and had to do some searching for a baker that was in the Orlando area. Most bakeries are not open on Sundays and I was actually going to pick Publix for a simple one. After not giving up, I found this bakery on Yelp. I contacted them and spoke with the owner Leia directly. Not only did she answer every question I may had, she exceeded all expectations and more. There were a few options that were in mind and finally narrowed it down to one 6" round cake with 24 cupcakes. I showed her pictures what I was aiming for and she recommended flavors that went well together when I was having a hard time picking just one. Let me tell you that the flavor choices are plentiful as found on the website and I was trusting her to do the best since I wasn't going to be in the area before hand to taste samples of each flavor that was available. The 6" cake had an almond flavor with buttercream frosting and half of the cupcakes had vanilla flavor with raspberry frosting and the other half had marble flavor with cookies and cream frosting. Leia delivered and set everything up. It was presented beautifully on the cake stand that was included and she even helped with some of the decorating of the shower. It was such a nice gesture to help without asking! There's a Yelp check-in offer of 20% off a purchase on the site that she said that wasn't valid for over a year and she still honored it on the purchase for me when I mentioned it. I'm still in awe of how the cake turned out and everyone complimented on how amazing the cake and cupcakes looked and tasted. The mom-to-be was in heaven over it and it was deliciously perfect! Thank you so much for topping the cake and making it one for all of us to remember for a lifetime :)

I had a client that was traveling to FL for a friends birthday and was in need of a cake. So I chose Candyland for said cake. I placed the order online 3 weeks prior to the actual delivery. I received 2 emails... the first stating the order was awaiting processing, the second stating the order was processing. I would assume a third email would be sent stating processed, I was wrong. I decided to give them a call just to confirm the order had been processed. A male answers and I explain I'm confirming an order for delivery. He asks if the delivery was for a name I'm not familiar with and I said no. I gave him my clients info and he's says "yes I see it, delivery is for 5pm". I replied stating I requested delivery for 6pm in which he replies the latest they deliver is 5pm as they close at 5pm. So when was I going to be contacted with this information? You're assuming there will be someone to receive the delivery at 5pm. There's mention on their website that deliveries after 5pm incur a late delivery fee. So is that incorrect? He then asks what was the reason for the call.... I reiterated to confirm the order as I haven't received a processed email. He states well the processing email is your confirmation. Processing and Processed are two different things. So I said ok, no problem have a good day to which he replies "ummhmm". His attitude was disgusting from the beginning. The lack of professionalism as if I was bothering him, so much for customer service. I will update this review once the cake is received.

DELICIOUS & GREAT DETAILS I would highly recommend candyland designs co. I order a vanilla buttercream cake and I couldn't stop getting great views on the taste and design. Pick this place if you want good service, cake and prices

So fun class, I have to come for some extra classes she have posted in her website. Small class but is so fun , come to the class and the cakes are good

what I ordered from their book (only changes, icing instead of fondant and blue letters instead of gold)

Cake was fair at best. Appearance was not what I ordered. Looked more like a baby shower cake then the elegant graduation cake I expected. Cake was not ready when it was supposed to be and I had to wait almost an hour for it to be finished (I was compensated and only charged half the original cost). Cake was dry but the buttercream frosting was delicious (although there was an inch or more of it between the two layers which was a bit much in my opinion).

My daughter's Euphoria themed Birthday party was a huge success! I have had a party for her every year since she has been born, and the cake we ordered from Candyland Designs was by far, the BEST cake we have ever ordered! Communication with this company was very easy. I sent the owner a picture of the cake that she wanted, but we really didn't expect it to turn out this perfect! It was so beautiful that we didn't want to cut it, but WOW we were even more impressed with the taste. We will be buying all of our cakes from here in the future!

    Cake I asked for

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY FRAUD ! I experienced the worse customer service I've ever received in my life . I had a very important monumental moment in my life planning my baby shower . I booked Leia Perez to design my cake . From beginning to end the communication was questionable and unprofessional . They only communicated with me through texts and I constantly had to repeat myself and copy and pasted my text messages because questions or important details would be looked over and ignored in their response . I asked them if they were able to create the cake I asked for based on a picture I sent them . Not once dis they tell me they could not die offer optional alternatives for what they could not do . (If you want your cake to have an ombré forget this company for sure ) I also asked for cake pops and provided pictures on how they should look . The day of my baby shower a cake was delivered that was sloppy and looked nothing like the cake I requested. In addition instead of cake pops I got popsicle shaped pops . Totally different from what I asked for . 8 months pregnant and frustrated I called her crying about my cake. She claimed she would make it right and offer me a refund for the cake in addition to attempting to "fix the cake and bring it back " I spent over $200 with this woman . The next day I asked about the refund and they said it would take 3 days to process . Then the following day I asked to speak to Leia and was refused to be spoken to . A represent who would only text message Me proceeded to tell me I would not receive a refund and that I could not speak to Leia and stated that it "isn't guaranteed to get the cake I asked for " . So bow I will fight this charge with my bank to get the refund back she said she would provide . Not once did she attempt to reach out to me to follow up or correct the matter All in all 1. Terrible communication 2. Fraudulent customer service 3. Poor work ethic 4. No dignity Thank for my husband bought last minute dessert assortment for our dessert decor area. As we all know the cake is the most important part .

This bakery shop is awesome. You have to call to make an appointment to see the pasty chef which is great so you can have an one on one to talk about your order. She saw me the very next day. She made a wrestling ring cake for my son and also made the entire cake Vegan. The flavor was amazing and cake was perfectly moist and not dry at all. The wrestling details were on point and my son and my whole family loved the cake. They are amazing. Thank you ladies for helping celebrate my son's birthday.

What I received. Not the same color as previous picture. No gold dots. Cake was white, instead of marble (as ordered).

As I planned our family trip to Orlando to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday, I started to worry about where to find the perfect cake. I was very excited about finding this bakery on IG. I went through their pictures and found the perfect cake for my daughter's 21st birthday party. She's a Disney fanatic so the Minnie Mouse cake was perfect. I sent them an email with the picture and asked for the exact cake (attached in the picture from their IG page) but a 10 inch one instead. I also told them I wanted a marble cake with buttercream frosting and filling. I also asked for a smaller "Hennessy" cake as well. The only request I had for the "Hennessy" cake was the bottle on top. I didn't care about the color, the cake flavor or anything else. So, in the email I never specified a color, flavor or anything besides the "Hennessy" bottle. When I arrived to pick the cake up the day of her birthday, the cakes were ready for pick-up, but when I saw the Minnie cake, I was immediately, disappointed. The cake was not the color of the cake I requested (light pink frosting, with gold dots -or whatever, hot pink bow and gold ears). The frosting and the bow-tie were hot pink, and the ears were gold, and there were no gold dots at all. The reason I liked the cake so much was because of the contrast in the colors, so this hot pink cake, didn't make me happy. The "Hennessy" cake was fine. I tried to hide my disappointment (mainly from my sister who was with me when I picked it up) and paid for the cake. At that point, there wasn't anything else I could do about it. I couldn't ask her to change the color of a cake that was already completed. Long story short, when it's finally time to cut the cake, it was a white cake... not marble as requested, but white. Epic fail!!! My daughter (and everyone else in my family) hates white cake!!! We compromised with the marble cake (because she really loves chocolate), and she was willing to do that, but to finally cut it and see that it was white, was disappointing to say the least. When we cut the Hennessy cake, guess what flavor it was?? Marble. I will say that the smaller cake was delicious, as we all tried to share pieces of that tiny cake, I couldn't help but say, this should have been my daughter's cake. It may not seem like a big deal, but when you pay $100 for a cake, you expect to get exactly what you paid for, and in this case, I didn't.

Went for a class there on a Sunday and feel as if I stumbled on a pot of GOLD! The owner is just AMAZING! She was soooo patient with my little guy, I brought games and his tablet to keep him occupied while mommy learns, however within minutes he came over to the table and wanted to participate. Most establishment don't really assist 5 year olds. The owner and her daughter were great with him and now he wants to attend EVERY class. The experience was equally fun and educational, double SCORE! Now triple because the cake itself was sooo yummy

Everything was perfect and beyond expectations. I had an idea and she brought it to life. I appreciated the delivery and it was on time. My boyfriend loved the design and the cupcakes were delicious!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Candyland Designs Co.! Went in looking for a cake for my daughter's birthday and the owner was so helpful. I showed her a picture of our centerpieces and she offered to make the cake match them! It was perfect and delicious! We will definitely be coming back for more!

There's almost always a line, but it moves fairly quickly, and honestly, it's part of the experience. You can watch the bakers adding the final, intricate touches to each dessert while you wait, which is really fun to see. They do offer a small selection of croissant sandwiches and specialty beverages, but for us, it's all about the desserts. From their signature creations to seasonal offerings, everything is visually stunning and (most of the time) absolutely delicious. That said, while most items are fresh and flavorful, we have experienced a few cakes that were a bit dry and seemed over baked. It's not the norm, but worth mentioning. Anyone else experience this? Yes, it's a little pricey--but it's Disney, and you're paying for both the quality and the experience. Overall, it's still one of our favorite stops every trip and well worth it if you're in the area.

Decent selections of wine though. They don't have old-school video games. They have a large emulation system that charges way too much money and takes forever to find your favorite games. There was stuff all over the floor when I visited. I know the owners were going for a "party" atmosphere, but someone could easily slip and hurt themselves. Finally, they were charging top-dollar for little toys, like $5 for a mini Rubik's Cube. The slap bracelets were cool, but that's about it. Back To the 80's has some promise, but they need to actually be a brewery to live up to their name. Imagine the inspired beers you could make here.

I was going to order a giro, which I love, but because it was Friday, they had some off menu items and highly recommended them. The men sitting around the tables said "order it!
