We visited Celebration for the first time this last Spring. When searching for gluten-free options,…read moreFortuna Bakery was recommended. We are so glad it was. A return trip to Celebration would be worth the visit simply for Fortuna Bakery. We stopped in to see what the options were for baked goods. Were we surprised to find so much more! The service was outstanding! The staff were cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. Rather than simply telling us there were no more arepas, they checked to see how long it would be and we waited for a piping hot one. The chicken empanadas are delicious, and if you have not had an arepa before, do not pass up the opportunity. Fortuna takes it to a whole new level, and the generous slab of cheese is the perfect topping. As to the gluten-free baked good? Amazing! The cakes were a perfect top off for a a joyful birthday in Celebration. There is outdoor café-style seating, which simply adds to the experience.

They have a wide variety of bakery items, pastries, and dessert, but I ended up getting a pan de bono and a tiramisu latte. The latte was surely the star of the show, they filled it to the brim and topped it with a delicious, thick cream that I couldn't get enough of and a lady finger cookie which was perfect for dipping in the coffee. I would definitely come back for this! The pan de bono was alright, it was a bit greasy and didn't have much of a strong flavor. I'll have to come back for another latte and to try more of their delicious looking pastries!

My family and I were finally able to check out what all the hype is about, and we were not…read moredisappointed! We are true cookie and dessert fanatics, and always on the lookout for delicious new treats, so of course Gideons came up on our radar. We had tried to get some before but the like was simply ridiculous so we passed. We happened to get lucky and caught the like today, and now I understand. Lol. These cookies are phenomenal! Soft and delicious and packedddd full of stuff. We tried the Key Lime Chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip, and cookie & cream cookies, along with a piece of cake. Everything was deliciousssss. As for value, prices are high. I think the cookies run around $7 a cookie and the slice of cake was around $12. It def adds up quickly. The decor and ambiance was adorable. Like a spooky little workshop. Service was very kind and fun, too. Wound I come again? Yes, if the line was reasonable. These cookies really were unlike any others I've found and are a special treat.

I am rounding down my experience rather than up. They can't print a receipt so I am frankly not…read moresure what either item cost, but the gross amount including tax was $19.17 for one cookie and one slice of cake. They did not include any plasticware or napkins, so I expect they think I was just going to inhale the food like Nintendo's Kirby monster and not need to wipe any chocolate residue off along the way. I would like to meet the complete idjit that designed this process of melty chocolate in Florida's summer heat to understand the complete contempt they had for their customers that waited 10+ minutes in line so much so that they can't include plasticware to eat cake with and a napkin to wipe off the melty chocolate. Must be the same guy that made the DMV how it is. The theming is cool inside, that is the best aspect of this place. The vibes are immaculate. This is a place a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. You just can't say that about many spots in Orlando. The banana bread cookie I was most excited about was doughy, overly salted to an extreme, and had way too many walnuts. The girl at the register warned me it had walnuts and we discussed how walnutty this thang was. They really should call this the walnut cookie. The walnut is basically the whole gat dang cookie, you can't taste banana nor bread. Calling it a banana bread cookie is just misleading. The thai banana cookie from Summer House around the corner in Springs is not all it is cracked up to be either, but that one certainly is not 99% walnut by weight like this one. The cookies and cream Oreo slice was far better, which was mildly concerning that a cookie shoppe traditionally known for their "viral" cookies had failed so bad at cookies it was actually their CAKE that was the thing worth writing home about my experience. It is such a viral spot everyone is coming here for the experience to see a spot that a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. But smart customers get the cake, not the cookies. When you get the cake slice, verify that you have plastic cutlery and napkin before leaving the store, otherwise you are going to need to Kirby-inhale it. I think that is Nintendo, so that is Universal IP not Disney, but you get the picture. Who is the Kirby of Disney? Drax with his cake-toast?

This year for some reason it was 2 cupcakes for the birthday gift which was great! I was also able to redeem my cupcakes after my birthday too. Their cupcakes are generally pretty good. I find the cupcake part to be pretty moist on the day of. Don't put the cupcake in the fridge because it will dry it out. I usually get the red velvet. I also tried a vanilla one and thought it was good too. I did order ahead and came like 10-15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. I did have to ask where my cupcakes were but they had them ready in the back.

I've been stopping into Sprinkles for years now, making it a habit when I'm in Disney Springs…read more For my latest visit (my first in awhile), I felt like the inside was a bit "sterile" in an atmosphere sense -- tablets replaced people at the order counter, which can be convenient for perusing the menu but also felt less personal, considering it seems there aren't employees stationed near the tablets at all. Overall, it kind of felt like walking into a bakery warehouse rather than a shop. I ordered a classic Sprinkle cupcake for myself and wanted to get a single pup cake, but for some reason that was only available as a three-pack, so I decided I'd treat the dogs in my family, too. My order was ready quickly and the person who handed it over was very nice. I wanted to enjoy the weather and my cupcake, so I sat at one of the tables outside and dug in. My cupcake was a little on the dry side but good overall -- the flavors were there, especially in the frosting. I also felt like it was a good size, but I'm admittedly the type of person who isn't a fan of giant "oversized" desserts. And I do think the price is pretty fair, especially by Mickey's standards. The pup cakes? Well, they were devoured by three pups as soon as they came out of the box, but alas, the dogs wouldn't give me a review beyond that.
