While staying at a Hilton Grand Vacations Club hotel during my latest Universal/Disney trip with my mom, we decided to go stop inside Publix to pick up some water bottles, coffee, and snacks. I was in awe at how big this Publix location is! Since it was our first time at this Publix location, we had to learn where all of the inventory was located. Luckily, a team member helped us locate where some of the snack items were inside the store! Stopping by on a Wednesday evening, most of the inventory was still in stock and well organized in the store too! While we were checking out, we were talking with the team members at the register and let them know we were from Las Vegas! The team at Publix gave us some tips about the local area and provide us with some attractions to go see while we were in Orlando/Kissimmee area! This is a great supermarket! The day before Thanksgiving is no joke! I had two pickup sandwiches I preordered and prepaid - it took so long for a worker finally to get to me to get it in the back. I had trouble locating the pumpkin pies, turned out they were just in a cart pushed next to the front table. Like 50 pies in one cart, I missed it walking in and probably would have assumed they were putting them away with it being in a cart instead of on a shelf. Checkout was surprisingly fast, I was happy to see how many registers were open. read more

My husband and I got off shuttle bus of Busch Gardens at Publix stop so we went in for exploring. Just like other supermarkets, it has pretty much everything and it's very clean and bright. Surprisingly we found it has four aisles of Disney merchandise at lower prices than in the parks and Disney Springs!! What a perfect place to buy souvenirs. The Publix is right next to Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets (5 mins drive), so if you're staying nearby and having time, it's worth a visit for some great deals. read more

Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. This particular location of Publix is located in Kissimmee, Florida. The staff is courteous and the supermarket has a pleasant enough ambiance to soak up while you do your shopping. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

Organized chaos for sure lol! But one thing for certain is the bathrooms will be clean and the brisket will be hot. You can buy anything here from a bottle of water or a charcoal grill. One of my favorite things about Florida is the Publix supermarket chain. This particular location is absolutely massive and spotlessly clean, and grocery store aficionados like myself will be in shopping heaven. The store is huge, with just about everything you could ever want or need. It would take over an hour to fully browse all of the aisles, but you can find everything from local hot sauces to Disney souvenirs to booze to boiled peanuts. This is also a great place to pick up a cake if you're celebrating a birthday while on vacation in Orlando. I'd give Publix 5 stars except for one major problem: it's so expensive. The prices here are well above nearby markets (Winn-Dixie and the Walmart across the street) on just about every item, so if you're bargain hunting, this isn't your place. read more

I stopped in here after shopping at Walmart and having a doctor's appointment across the street. I needed to pick up some drinking water and wanted to take a look around. It's not a bad looking store with a good inventory. I found my drinking water and they have lowest price in the area that I have found. Prices on so much has gone up to where it's difficult to buy things that you can enjoy. The Home Run Inn pizzas used to be $6.99 but now they are over $10. In the end I was only able to get a couple of items but Publix tends to be a pretty good place to buy groceries. read more

In my 15 years of living in Florida and shopping at Publix, I think I had my best Publix Deli experience yet today. Danny was the reason. Danny was outstandingly personable, attentive, and made us truly bomb subs -- best I've ever had or seen being made. Danny was also accompanied by Sam and Hilda behind the counter, and observing the way they worked together you could tell they're all great people and recognize that in one another. Respectful, funny, amazing team. Danny also gave WONDERFUL recommendations as we were deciding what to put on our subs, and made a point to personally greet every single person who entered the deli line. 100/10, get this man a promotion and a heck of a raise. read more

Welcome tot he neighborhood! Our newest Publix is finally open and they do not disappoint. Our new store is spacious and brightly lit. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by every employee we came into contact with. Being the Grand Opening Weekend everyone is super excited to show off their new home but I know from the old locaiton, this is typical behavior for Publix. I love how the produce department, Bakery and Deli aren't as clustered as they seem to be in some of the other locations, there is a little more ease in getting around. If you have never tried Boars Head meats, this is a must, it's one of their signature items in the deli. Also be sure and stop at the back of the store and pick up some fresh made sushi. You won't be disappointed. On our way out they had a special on Boars Head hot dogs, $1 for a hot dog and a Publix Soda, so we endulged. I had mine with their Sweet Onion Relish. Oh so good! Can't go wrong at Publix. Came here while in the area to pick up some waters and some Hawaiian rolls for our day at the pool. Store is clean as usual Publix stores are. Was able to locate our items quickly and be in and out in no time. Parking is easy to get in and out. This location is in a strip plaza so there are other stores around, including a Starbucks and Ross. Staff was friendly at checkout. read more

Great location to grab food prior to heading to a Disney park. We went her two days in a row for essentials and food to eat prior to going into a park. Definitely recommend before heading to animal kingdom. The food kiosks are limited and the restaurants you have to order your food through an app. A happy tummy is a happy group in a hot park. read more

I am lucky enough to be there for the grand opening day! They were staffed like crazy and the was a smile on every face! This new Publix is big, beautiful and they should be proud. I was greeted by Eric, the store manager, at the front door and then recieved a publix reusable bag. Awesome gift! The bakery was full of fresh baked goods. The deli staff were friendly ready to help you get the very best meats and cheese , from Boars head. There is also a salad bar. I walked around and really enjoyed my shopping experience. I went to this Publix today not my usual but was on way home getting my grandson I have not been able to see for TWO MONTHS! He's a Fortnite gamer....his presents and rewards for making straight "A's" for four years is Xbox gift cards! I was a bit behind and since sending his Easter care package haven't spent $25 a weekend on GC... So we went to THIS Publix! I was asked BY TYLER if I was paying with a card...yes... he said but you can't charge them...I know you didn't ASK what kind of card! My USAA debit card! We both had masks, we respected social distancing, we filled the ONE WAY isles!!! Tyler asked to SEE my USAA debit card and MY ID... Hmmm never been asked that and TYLER told me that is THE POLICY? I asked really never been asked before... HE SAID THAT IS PUBLIX POLICY... Hmmmm well then every PUBLIX I have been to since I was born...aka ORLANDO NATIVE....had never followed that policy ! I PUBLIX!!!! Y'all need to seriously talk to TYLER! If it was my first trip to PUBLIX buying food and spending $100 on GC....I would never ever shop there again! This is the worst Publix I've ever been to..... especially the deli.... Stood inline for 30 minutes and watched them make 2 sandwiches because having their conversation was more important then helping the paying customers.... And even better after waiting over 30 minutes another group decides to just walk up and stand where every they want and cut us off, and the sandwich makers just ignored me and took their order instead...... this location is a shining example of what all the other Publix locations don't do and why they don't do it and can't even bother with the pre made sandwiches cause they are all on stale, wet bread.... All the ingredients if they are even on the sandwich are all in a smashed up pile in the middle of the roll. The entire thing is just disgusting and a waste of money read more

Wow! We came in and found ourselves in line in the Deli department. We noticed Michelle working fast for 3 customers all by herself with a line behind us growing. We asked for a salad and were amazed at the care, detail and punctuality she took in making it right. She even suggested a particular pickle to try. And all the while, acknowledging those behind us that she was working as quickly as possible! When we got back to our vehicle, we decided to try the salad. It was so very good! So much so? That the next evening, even after a long day, we decided to come back to the deli and get something different. We were hoping Michelle was there again, and she was! This time she created a great whole sub! It was perfect! We don't live in Orlando, but with employees like Michelle? You'd find us coming back several times a week for sure! Nice new addition to the Publix family. I must say that it was really weird to make a right onto Poinciana blvd today. We were debating between Aldi and Publix, and with two crying tots in the back, we opted for Publix...this was before realizing it had relocated. So we figured what the heck...lets go! The store is nice. the first thing we noticed is that they have more of the kid carts than the average publix. And they are clean! The store itself is laid out like many others. The aisles are a bit larger than our Celebration store, which really makes a difference. It is the little things in life. The store was noticeably "not busy," which we loved. It wasn't slow, but not as busy as expected for a Saturday in a new store. The addition of the prepared foods was a plus. We actually opted to do it for dinner tonight, ordering up some pot roast, asparagus and loaded potatoes. We fed a family of four for under $20. They have a bunch of options, but not as much as whole foods or other specialty stores. The prices were comparable to a typical Publix in the area, and notably cheaper than Celebration. The deli, as always, was slow as ever. I think this is simply the Achilles heal of Publix. It doesn't matter if there are a million people, or you are the lone ranger. Plan on waiting 15 plus minutes. we did note that the service came with a smile. This is an improvement from our typical experience in Celebration, where we often get a grunt or two. I am a fan of this store and will likely make the drive to avoid the crowds. read more

Finally got to try a Publix sub and now I'm sad I can't have them on a regular basis. It's honestly nothing that special if I really think about it but something about it was amazing. It has to be that delicous bread. I got my sub on the 5 grain bread and it was just perfect. The outside was still a little crispy but the inside was perfectly soft. It wasn't all soft like the bread at other sub shops (i.e. Subway). read more

It's Publix! That should be enough said. All Publix's in my mind anyway expect for a few odd things are the best. This place is the cleanest store I have ever been in. Both inside and out. There parking lot is well maintained. I swear not one cart running a muck. Always where they should be. I have never seen one in the lot other then in the parking corral where they belong. Someone is always collecting them to keep the lot clear. I like that. Yep this is the store for you. The aisles are wide and clutter free. The selection of prepared food is great. Bakery selection is yummy. Everything always looks so fresh. All my encounters with staff have been pleasant. The bathrooms are well kept and clean. Another amazing Publix. This store is the best of the best. One of the largest locations I have ever been in. Extremely clean and well maintained. Personnel was as in all Publix's extremely polite and friendly. Again, the one problem would be the deli section. I have now learned to just place my deli orders online and pick them up so I don't need the headache of having to wait since there is always a line wither you are getting cold cuts or subs or hot food. Still always worth coming here. In a strip mall that just opened with several others stores such as a Petco and a Ross. I love Publix and this is my first bad experience. I stood at the deli for about 10 minutes this evening waiting to place an order. I'm ok with that when it's busy- I have no problem waiting my turn. Tonight there was 1 other women ordering (that was it, no line) and 2 women behind the counter. The one kept stocking and the other finished with this costumer and walked away. The woman stocking stopped to help another customer that had walked up well after me. When I asked her where I needed to stand to place an order she directed me 2 feet to the right and proceeded to ignore me. I might have actually laughed if I was there by myself but I was there with my 2 kids so time was precious. It was really a pretty eye opening experience and a disappointing one to say the least. read more
