I was making them in the truck while we were parked at the stadium. 45 minutes total. Thank goodness Candy warehouse came to the rescue on this one. I usually use gumballs but they didn't have the purple we needed. So I opted for chocolate kisses. This worked just as good as the gumballs. We made a total of 7 candy leis with a 4 lb bag. My rating is 3.5 stars. Some pros: easy to get to, parking is a breeze, not crowded, colorful and sorted nicely. Cons: outrageously overpriced. OMG everything is E X P E N S I V E. I've come here once before many years ago. I remember it not being super great at the time but figured I'd check it out again as I am hosting a "color party". My color is blue so I was looking for some fun, blue candies. I walked away empty handed.... As I walked the few, short isles my jaw continued to drop. WOW I couldn't believe my eyes on the prices of everything. Things were at least double the price, if not more. *jaw dropped* I really don't understand how they remain in business. I am posting several photos with some captions comparing their price vs. Walmart/Target or a grocery store. If you are looking for something super specific such as white wedding bells, gummy carrots, pink/blue/orange malted milk balls or white cross candies then sure, this is the place for that. What a great find right here in the City of Long Beach. EVERYTHING you want to find is here. They even had Candy Cigarettes! I thought they were illegal, I love those things. Totally from my childhood. My wife was looking for green candy for an office party and we wondered if we might find a bag of green jellybeans. What we found was a wall of green candy, of orange candy, of purple candy. We were blown away. We bought a 4 lb. bag of Hersey kisses and got a great deal. Tons of piñata options, vintage candy, helpful staff, and the place is organized like the library of congress. You'll find what you're looking for, fast, and you'll have a great time doing it. This is a heaven for anyone with a sweet tooth, kid or kid at heart (again sweet tooth), or anyone who needs to plan a candy buffet party overnight! This place has it all!! From baby showers, weddings to birthdays, this place has everything in color coding, themes amd holiday as well. Aside from candies, they have the jars, cups scoopers also! Did i already said this place has everything?? Had i known about this place when i had to plan for a baby shower, this place would have saved my stress and brain cells! This is my new go to place for my graduation lei supplies. It's a huge warehouse but the retail part is a smaller section of the building. The place is fun, decorated with candy memorabilia and clean. No one is in the front/office area as you walk in. The employees and cash register are in the retail area with all the candies. The candies are organized by type and in certain sections by color. The employees are always very helpful with checking inventory and answering questions about the candies. Inventory has varied the times I've visited. But I've been able to find something else to make up for it. I love their little section of nostalgic candies from the past and sometimes find some new candies I've never seen before. This last time I found "Hot" Zotz candies. I grabbed a strip of 5 for $1.00 and gave it to hubby. He loves Hot Tamale candies so he liked these a lot. read more

For those with a sweet tooth, this place is heaven. So many choices, awesome color coordinated set up, unique candies as well as many traditional mainstream staples. Mostly sold in large sizes, it is great for parties. I'm not a huge candy person, but love the occassional treat. I have enough people in my life who would absolutely love this place. I had fun roaming the isles for a few gems too. Candy is heavy and in bulk it can be expensive. However after an online price search comparison, I think the prices are fair. The huge pinatas were enough to sell me on a return visit in the future. I'll be back! read more

Always wandered the warehouse in Long Beach just before Halloween, sorry to see them close the warehouse but will operate remotely for orders in the Dallas TX area. Love the Laffy Taffy banana flavor in the tub and the Dots in small boxes sold by the bag. Good size for Trick-or-Treat and any extra candy goes to the office into the big grab bowl along with other's lefr-over candy. My Laffy Taffy and DOTS disappear from the bowl long before the candy from others. One year, Halloween was on Sunday, so I went to Candy Warehouse the day before, store closed, I was so mad. Went to Smart-n-Final to get candy and on a whim bought a $5-dollary Scratcher ticket from the vending machine. Won $500 !!! Thank you Candy Warehouse for being closed on Saturday. read more

Walked in to the warehouse, thinking it was going to be a really big space. But most of the warehouse was blocked off and there really was only one or two isles open that had cool color coordinated decorations, but honestly was kinda let down at the scale. Ended, we ended up going to a small business store in Long Beach that had a better selection and even the location was smaller. I was disappointed because I thought there would be more of a selection & the prices were insane for anything chocolate basically . It's only 5 rows of candy the other area is for their warehouse inventory. Thank goodness they offered a 30% off which my check in on this app or else I would of looked elsewhere. Willy Wonka will be proud :) My little brother, girlfriend, and I went here because I saw a video in facebook about this sweet tooth of a place. We were bored, so why not explore it! This place is somewhat hidden from the public's view, just like the Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. It looks normal from the outside, just the M&M peeps standing in front. When we enter, it is a mind blown experience. It feels like I am a kid again :) This place is real life factory and they just divided it as a makeshift area for the public. Most of their candies came straight from the candy manufacturer, so it is cheaper here than to buy it from other stores. They have all kinds of candies and chocolates; name one brand of candy in your mind, most likely they will have it. They even have those rare 5 pounder Hersey bars, oversize gummy bears, and party pinatas. I became so impressed that they carried a tub of Black Licorice Red Vines :) what?!?! We ended up buying one huge bag of sour dots for less than $15. They even have 20% discounts for purchasing any items inside the store. The best part is we got to meet the employees that run this place :) One of the best customer service that I experienced. We get to meet the manager that I saw in their facebook videos (she got cool blond hair.. pretty recognizable) Overall, definitely coming back and buy shit load of stuff here when we have a party or its the holidays. I am in need of candy to create a candy bar. After checking this place out they have sections by the color which is nice for a color coded candy bar but the pricing does not seem to be affordable. I am not sure why I thought this was a wholesale place and would be selling bulk at a discounted price. Someone else reviewed that it may be cheaper to get candy at Smart and final or something like that and I agree. Also at the time I went, the candy selection wasn't massive to what I would think as a warehouse. It was limited to a couple of aisles. Although they had a lot of things I was expecting more selection. The front part of the store is cute with the decor and different nostalgic candy selections. read more

You have to try and visit this place! It's just fun to peruse the candy aisles and while you're there take a picture in this really cool purple velvet chair with Willy Wonka props. Want to take family and friends here just to take pictures around the fancy arrangement. Love how organized their selections are, and if they don't have a particular candy, they are very helpful and take the time to find the item and have it shipped to the warehouse. The first time we went, we just wanted to check out their prices which we found comparable to others. They have such great products and love how organized they are. The candy colors are organized to make it easy for shoppers. We came back last Saturday and asked the workers for advise on space theme candies. The two ladies that work there were so nice and so helpful! Katya most especially was so knowledgeable about different candies to help us with our theme. She got on the computer and helped us find the perfect space theme lollipops. I am so excited to show our guests our space lollipops! Thank you Katya for being so helpful, creative and friendly. I was in desperate search of chocolate covered gummy bears because I was tired of letting my local candy-by-the-pound shop hustle me out of house and home. They charge $7.99 per 1/2 lb. I saw this place on yelp and saw the huge variety they claimed to have on their site and a 20% off coupon so I was sold. It looked kind of sketch on the outside since the windows are tinted and it's in a parking lot but no worries!! The inside looks magical- like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. There's even his purple chair and an orange, curly Party City shake n go wig to go with it. They have everything organized by color, not by type of candy. The prices were kinda marked up for some items but similar to Amazon for others. There's a clearance section too. I found my chocolate and white chocolate bears for $10-12/lb after the coupon then I dipped. Cashiers and the owner were nice/helpful. I'll come back for my fix. read more

Who wouldn't like a local candy warehouse?? I decided to take my kids on an impromptu after school adventure for good grades (I'm an awesome mom lol!). We brought along another parent and her kid and let the kids grab a basket and roam the isles. The actual area open to the public wasn't as big as we thought, but it was still a fun experience. Prices are not cheap for everyday candies; their inventory in my opinion is mostly for bulk color coordinated decorating or events. If you've been to Party City and didn't find a color or specialty candy, it's likely this place has it for cheaper and in bulk. They have tons of colors and varieties for weddings, baby showers and parties. Previously, I had driven the way to La Canada to get some silver and lavender opaque gum balls and paid a fortune for them but this place had them in abundance! We allowed the kids to get a few of their favs and took some pics and snap chats in the cute lobby. It was a fun local outing that I recommend! read more
