I've been wanting to check out Bougie Boozy Bears after seeing tiktoks about this place! It was so nice visiting here in person. The owner is so helpful and friendly. She walked us through everything they make here and what it is made of. We got the gummies! We tried the French 75 and cranberry sunrise. The gummies package is equal to 3 drinks. The flavor is good, and tastes like a lemon drop. They also had chocolates with alcohol too, they looked delicious. I recommend this place!! I will be back to try more treats soon. Unfortunately, Bougie Boozy Bears did not do it for me. I really wanted to like their products because their service was fantastic (very friendly, very knowledgeable) and the presentation of their product was attractive. However, I would not buy the boozy bears again. We tried two different flavors - Tiger's Blood and Strawberry Lemon Drop. The gummy bears have a weird texture and the alcohol overpowers the flavor of the gummies. The after taste is really unpleasant. Each bag cost $16 and the claim is that one bag is the equivalent of three drinks, but, after eating about a third of one bag, I felt nothing. This is a really cute idea, but the execution fell flat. read more

I found the best spot wondering around Carrollton! This wonderful establishment has all the yummy sweet booze infused gummy bears you can imagine! I loved talking to the owner and hearing how her business started. I ended up getting a bag of the Caramel Apple bears for the hubs since he likes the Salted Caramel Crown Royal, which is one of the 2 types of alcohol the caramel apple bears are infused with. 17 bears= 1 drink so her slogan is "Please Eat Responsibly". Was in Carrollton visiting a client and drove through old downtown on my way home. Being Friday and having some guests coming over, I thought these would make fun treats or at least a great topic of conversation. This store is run by a daughter, mother and grandmother team and they do a great job creating and merchandising their products. We stumbled upon this place the other day and it's such a cool idea! Very cute inside with very friendly people. There are a million options for boozy treats, from marshmallows to gummies. We got some of the gummies for a party and were given some bonus gummies too! One bag of gummies is supposed to equal about 3 drinks. We liked the gummies but wish they would've been more flavorful; they still had an alcohol taste to them instead of something fruitier. I would go back and try more stuff! read more

Went in tonight on 2.24.23 with my wife about 7:15pm. I usually drop in to the 3 National Brewery across the street to grab some craft beer but my wife wanted to try this little shop for adult treats...I.e alcohol infused treats. OMG.... Just oh myyyyyyyyy. We walk in and the owner comes out from the back and greets us and starts telling us about the candy. So I'm going to make this right to the point. Just get in your car and make the trip. It's absolutely worth it. She helpfully explained certain treats are the equivalent of one or two drinks etc. We each got a cake pop and a chocolate bourbon turtle. Unbelievable how good they were. So I have had other alcohol infused chocolates....hahaha not even close to this! I will poorly try and describe this. First the chocolate turtle. Amazing. Delicious chocolate with a creamy smooth Carmel center and the pecans are apparently soaked for several days in bourbon. It tasted so good. Same with the cake pop. It's chocolate with a soaked marshmallow center. It had a delicious cherry chocolate flavor. The actual cake is moist. The chocolate outer shell is just...wow. Here is the thing..... if you ever had alcohol infused chocolate candy that tastes like...well...alcohol.....this doesn't. The alcohol only enhances and brings out the flavors she uses. It's not overpowering. It's perfectly balanced. She also has gummies and we sampled were a margarita flavor and I swear it tasted exactly like a margarita. These could be dangerous! But in a great way! So eat responsibly as she told us. She is the bomb. This place is so worth a visit. Prices vary depending on what you buy. The turtles were about $6 and the cake pops were a little more. It's well worth it and I know you brain will think "wow six bucks for one piece of candy".....it's a good value. This is the crème de la crème of adult treats. Never had anything like this. This is is located in a quaint little area with various trendy shops and restaurants. Parking is typically a nightmare here....but there is parking right in front of her shop (and the adjacent stores) so don't worry. Go right now. I hope this lady's business blows up with even more success. The owner has pride and confidence in her product and rightly so. We just love it. Oh also it's pet friendly (Pup Cakes is next door). I absolutely adore J'aime and her talent with flavors. She is so friendly and passionate about her craft where baking meets mixology. I tried the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Marshmallow pop and it was so delightful. The flavors of peanut and marshmallow pop but don't overwhelm each other; PLUS the chocolate smooths out the peanut butter whiskey in the marshmallow. Love the idea of Bougie Boozy Bears. I saw these on tiktok and youtube and decided I wanted to try them. The reviewer had tried the bars, and then took a breathalyzer and it showed a fair amount of intoxication after just one or two bars. The reviewer also said that the bars didn't taste of alcohol at all, which was a big selling point for me as I love mixed drinks. I ordered a single bag of the gummy bears, since I wanted to start out small. The bag itself was 17$, and then despite only living about an hour away (I did not know this prior to ordering, or I would have just picked up my items in store) the shipping was an additional 21$. The bears taste of nothing but alcohol, though I will say I do not remember the website claiming that they didn't so I will say that it isn't their fault. That was an expectation given to me by a third party and shouldn't be held against them. The gummies are very cute, but they have an odd texture to them. I wouldn't say that it's a bad texture, just not the one I was expecting. I have had about half the bag by now, though, and despite being an extreme lightweight, I don't feel anything. This could be a really good treat for someone who doesn't mind the taste of alcohol, and has a fair bit of money to spend on a fancy treat, but I would not substitute it for regular drinking. The gummies are very cute as I have said, and they would make adorable party treats for some sort of get together. I don't think I will be buying again, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try it once and see if it's right for you! read more

Failed TikTok Experience. I saw a cool TikTok review of these cool adult popsicles. I placed an order for 4 popsicles on 5/17/23. I checked in on the order 4 weeks later and was told it would ship the following Monday 6/12/23. I didn't not receive shipping confirmation so I contacted the vendor again 6/14/23. Where again I was told my shipment was going out the following Monday (now 6/19/23). I wrote them back and explained this was now 5 weeks after my order had been placed and informed the company if they could not ship the item by 6/19 I would just prefer to cancel the order. 6/28/23 I received notification my order had shipped: despite my calling and email to let them know I would be canceling the order. The order arrives today and I'm short an item. I immediately emailed the company to let them know what I was missing and see if they want to refund me for the missing item or replace it. Either way just hope they do the right thing and make this right. I do not recommend this business. Update 7/11/23: I never received a tracking number, inquired with the company when the shipment would ship. They sent me tracking it was delivered yesterday. So it sat in 100 degree Texas Heat for over 24 hours. What a waste. Thanks for nothing! read more

Co worker ordered some gummy bears and popsicle shaped gummies. Guys from work tried them and out of 3-4 of us tried them, nobody was impressed. Flavor was not that good. Gummy part was very still and rubbery. They did taste boozy but not enough for grown men. 3 bears a piece was unnoticeable other than headache a couple guys said. Popsicle was split 3 ways and was also unnoticeable. Was hoping these would be better tasting Atleast and after watching videos and seeing reviews we thought they may have had some noticeable intoxication, no luck. Packaging and shipping were great.
