Make Your Life Sweeter is definitely worth a visit. It's such a cute and charming little place. The staff is friendly and smiling as they greet you. Plenty of treats to choose from like chocolate, popcorn, cupcakes, macaroons and cotton candy. They also have a variety of beverages. My main purpose was to visit and try the Zphere beverage. It's a passion fruit non alcoholic drink. It has special effects of smoke and a big bubble that pops. My mother truly got a kick out of the presentation. It was a Valentine's treat to keep her sweet. I left feeling happy and with a big smile. I will definitely have to go back and try something sweet. I'm not a big sweets person. I thought the price was reasonable. My mothers laugh and smile made it a GREAT experience! The entrance to the store is adorable. This place would be cute for a girls day out. read more

I think the idea is cute, I feel as though it could have been executed better. One of the biggest reasons why I'm giving it a three star is because it is not worth the price, I think wanted to give it a higher rating really bad because I can tell the owner has put thought and effort into it and for that I am very appreciative. The space is small, it's open to regular customers to purchase some of the items such as the candy and popcorn, they can purchase the items at the register which is literally less than 12 feet away from you. For $115 per person, I don't think it's fair that you're practically having a tasting in a candy store. It would have been better if the tasting was in a separate area from where customers couldn't come buy the desserts. The tasting was good and as I said, you could tell time and effort had been put into it, I just feel as though the price does not equate to the experience. As stated below, there are better tastings for a cheaper cost. Really cool Pop-up! Sooooooo Dallas has this dope pop-up for you sweet lovers! The menu varies but up to 25 courses of handcrafted dessert experiences! From edible vapor bubbles to vegan wasabi cotton candy! My FAVE is the Passion Fruit Truffle - literally bursting and oozing with flavor. Honestly, there are wayy too many courses to try to remember, but everything was exceedingly tasty! One thing I can say.... I'm not the biggest sweet tooth lover, so I liked how they crafted their sweets to be just sweet enough and not overly sugary. I loved that they've feature custom gifts to support BLM and local businesses. This is definitely a sweet experience to try with your friends or date night! The pricing varies depending on menu but can be on the higher end.... but I mean one of the truffles has real truffle butter... so expect quality. I really wanted to give this establishment a high rating but I just can't. I am breaking my review down into sections to explain why. Value - 2/5 My friend and I paid $115.00 per person for the 21 dessert omakase. Michelin Star restaurants in New York and Chicago both charge under $100 dollars for dessert tastings (so I came in with pretty high expectations). Unfortunately, I do not believe the price tag equates to the quality of food received. I feel as if all plates were probably something I could have put together myself. (With the exception of the palette cleanser, the passionfruit lemonade.) Ambiance - 2/5 It's a VERY small space. The table was nice, but the space was incredibly small. Because the space is so small the tables are right next to the counter. This led to people constantly passing by our table while we were eating. It was awkward and kind of cramped. Hospitality - 4/5 The owner is lovely, and she explained each dessert thoroughly. Unfortunately, near the end, she had what seemed to be a family friend come in to support the business. This led to another employee taking over the remainder of the omakase, and she didn't quite know how to explain what we were eating. All in all, it's a very pricey experience and (in my own personal opinion) not worth the money. Was looking for something fun to do with my family since we have been cooped up for so long. We called ahead to find out the hours and were told that space is limited due to Covid restrictions and there was a party that had reserved later in the day. So we planned around this. It's a small place and there is a cool selection of unique desserts to try. For those who get the full course I can totally understand why you would need to reserve ahead of time!!! The decor is really cute. Love the little gummy bear museum. This place is very instagramable!! The desserts here are very unique. The have many flavors of popcorn and cotton candy that you would not have imagined! I tried the hot wing flavored pop corn, thought I was a BW3!!! You have to try the Turkish cotton candy. I have never had anything like it. The texture and flavor is something I have never tasted. Just wow!!! Also the chocolates, They looked like the beautiful chocolates from Kate Weiser, but that's where the comparison stops. We enjoyed the full Make Your Life Sweeter experience, starting with the gorgeous murals that lead you into the shop! The displays are over the top and adorable, starting with the floral decorations at the entrance of the store. Yasmeen limits the number of people in the store, and everything is constantly being wiped down. I love that the Omakase experience requires a reservation, it's perfect for a date night or a girls night out and she accommodates for people with crazy schedules like mine with private bookings. If you just want to try select items from the menu, like the zphere and or something from the secret menu like their amazing Afogato, those are also options. Four of us did the 21 dessert Omakase which was a truly amazing experience. The pop up shop is darling and it feels like a cross between Audrey Hepburn and Willy Wonka. Half the fun is just looking at all the cool treats for sale. The service itself was fabulous. About every 5 minutes the owner brought out another spectacular tasting. We all liked every single serving but naturally the four of us each had different favorites. One of the best part of the experience was the owner explaining each course including tidbits about which event it was developed for or which part of the world different unique ingredients were sourced from. That was a big part of our enjoyment and whoever serves should be well versed in those details. Beforehand, we were all a bit worried that we might walk away feeling horrible on a sugar bloat, but surprisingly that did not happen at all. They carefully mixed a few savory items in with the super sweet items and we all felt it was perfectly served in terms of not being too full (or sugar sick) when we left, but perfectly satisfied. In terms of value, yes this type of thing always "feels" pricey, but honestly given the very unique flavors, specialty ingredients and beautifully served settings we felt it was worth every penny. I understand the times and I respect the rules , but I appreciate communication especially when you talk to the employee and ask for recommendations. The tables said had signs with wording in French- I assumed reserved for if you're eating dessert. I didn't ask what they said. The two ladies there did not say anything about not being able to sit in the store. We bought the cotton candy- had kids and were going to stay and eat at the present time. No one else besides the workers in the place and we were refused to sit. With at least 5 empty tables. The tables had signs that said you needed to make a reservation. They said they had one in a little bit- we sat outside nearby to eat it and no one else entered while it took us a whole three minutes to eat the cotton candy pints. I responded when told we couldn't sit there with why we weren't told that when we came in to buy the cotton candy. I would have appreciated, hello do y'all have a reservation- if not we won't be able to sit you today. Then let us decide if we still want to buy. For $8 plus a small five bite thing of cotton candy this was a hoot!!! Will not recommend and not be back. read more

Everything I tasted was amazing. You can tell the quality is there in every ingredient and that each item is made with care. On top of that, the staff is very COVID conscious. Such an unexpected sweet treat! We went for a girls' night an hr before the mall closed and eventhough the space is small it did not feel crowded when customers wandered in. The store is COVID conscious, staff wore gloves and they ensured single serving disposable items. We opted to do the full 21 course omakase (but there is a shorter/cheaper version available). Several of the courses you can buy from the store a la carte (popcorn, gummies, macaroons, truffles) but there are some very unique courses that you have to do tasting menu to get. My favorite was the falooda dessert (this edible rose flavored deliciousness) which can't be bought off the regular menu. You should pace yourself with the bottomless popcorn though because it is easy to fill up quick. There were also cute instragrammable spots in the store and fun treats we bought to take home to kiddos. A definitely sweet experience you could do for a date night or even day date ;) read more

Just being in the store was an experience itself. My daughter had a blast picking out things for herself and to gift this holiday season. We ended up with melted butter popcorn, fried pickle popcorn, three gorgeous hot chocolate bombs that taste just as good as they look, four pints of such unique cotton candy flavors.
