I called AZUL to schedule a pedi and the receptionist suggested I book an appointment with GODDESS and I am so glad I did. GODDESS is a goddess. She was so supportive and accommodating. She allowed me to initiate conversation, she created a comfortable and safe space, and she welcomed the moments of silence and reflection when I needed them. We shared a beautiful conversation that is a sacred and treasured experience for me. I scheduled a mani/pedi before I left Macon because I enjoyed the first one so much. I needed to move forward with my life, but I didn't want to leave GODDESS! If I were a Macon resident, I would be on her calendar regularly. As a manicurist, she knows what she's doing! Because she is in her own room within the walls of AZUL Salon & Spa, you'll be the only client in the only chair in the room. You'll have her full attention. She has a nice selection of polish colors. She gives an excellent leg and hand massages and the warm towel wraps she uses on your legs are heavenly! She's also experienced in giving diabetic pedicures. Five stars for GODDESS!

They worked efficiently as a lady was doing my nails at the same time. However she was quite rough with the drill and filing. Also, to mention it was really a trust be process situation with my nails. I was very concerned how they were being shaped at first. The service was pricey but seems that's all the salons now. $135 for a full set plus pedicure. Not sure about their sanitation practices either. I wasn't paying close attention at the time but I suspect some on the brushes and pumice stone had been previously used.

-- Do Not Waste Your Time nor money on TRACY…read more Extremely disappointing experience at Princess Nails. I had a 5:00 PM appointment with Tracy for a gel full set and drove 30 minutes to get there. Despite having an appointment, I waited over an hour past my scheduled time to be serviced. What made it worse was watching Tracy take her time with the client before me. When I finally sat in her chair, I was then told to wait another 5 minutes so she could service TWO more clients for eyebrow appointments. I had already waited over an hour, but I agreed because I assumed that once she started my nails, she would take the time necessary to do a good job. That was NOT the case! I waited approximately another 10 minutes, and then my entire gel full set was rushed through in less than 10 minutes. Yes -- less than 10 minutes for a full set. I felt rushed, disregarded, and like my appointment was simply something to squeeze in between other customers. I drove 30 minutes and made an appointment because I expected my time to be respected and my service to receive the appropriate attention. If you are fully booked or unable to honor scheduled appointments, STOP accepting appointments you cannot properly accommodate. Customers should not have to wait over an hour, then be pushed back again for walk-in services, only to receive a rushed service once they finally get in the chair. I understand that salons get busy. I also understand that delays happen. But this was more than a normal delay -- my appointment was repeatedly pushed aside, and the actual service felt rushed because of it. Unfortunately, this was an awful experience from start to finish. The amount of time I waited versus the amount of time spent actually doing my nails was completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend Tracy or this salon based on my experience.

I asked to take off my existing gel builder set and apply a new one. I was sat down, then asked to move two seats over. Not a big deal. She started drilling off the color gel and first layer of builder, then switched bits and started drilling off another layer. She then went to grab a file and I asked her if she was going to soak them off. She said that she already filed all the product off. She did not. Then in Vietnamese, she told someone to bring her a bowl of acetone. When they brought it over, she told them she doesn't know why I wanted a soak off when all the product is off. She left me to soak while she did someone's pedicure. After five minutes, I started scraping off product. After about 15 minutes, someone mentioned to her that I had been sitting there a while. A gentlemen came over and started filing off the rest of the product off my nails. I told him I only wanted a gel manicure and not the gel builder. He started a manicure. In the middle of his polish, the lady came back. "What happened to the gel builder?" "Oh she didn't want it, just a gel manicure" "well aren't you lucky" LUCKY??? When he finished my nails, there was a bump on one finger. He asked someone to bring him a top coat and said that I bumped my nail. Sir. I did not bump my nail. You painted a dust bunny in it. Lady came back, removed the paraffin and then wiped my hands off with a hot towel. $15 take off $33 gel manicure Am I in Macon or San Francisco? The end result is LUMPY.
