He did exactly what the picture looked like (most of the employees can do nail art too is what I was told), he was also very thorough with each nail. I could not be happier. They were also reasonably priced (acrylic tips with airbrush polish and chrome for $75). I have been to another nail place in Macon, in the shoppes at river crossing, that did okay but the shape was not nearly as perfect as here and it was way more expensive there. read more

I went for a regular pedicure ($30) and then upgraded to deluxe ($47). YES Leg & foot massage. NO The nail tech, Kim, was complimenting me about my looks, my legs, etc. It felt weird + I would rather she focus on giving me a rock star pedicure instead, than buttering me up. NO She put toilet paper in between my toes, instead of using rubber toe separaters. I asked for them and they said "they were out." I had to ask another nail tech multiple times until "suddenly" they found one. That's just cheap. NO Once she started painting my nails, she used LOTS & LOTS of tiny brush strokes, going both horizontally and vertically. Huh?! Not good technique. NO Instead of using a little paint brush dipped in nail polish remover to go around the edges to take off extra polish, she just used her finger nail. NO When my nails are done, I like to sit a little extra in the chair so my toe nails can dry. Do you know how many times I've left a salon and my nails have gotten immediately smudged? But she wouldn't let me stay in the massage chair even though there were many empty chairs! NO She took me over to this old school drying fan where you put your feet underneath - it was not very effective. NO At that point, I noticed two different nails had not been painted all the way to edge of nail. Seriously?! She "fixed" it but it should be done right the first time. So no I do not recommend this nail salon unless there is a more skilled/professional Nail Tech. read more

This was my second visit. The first time was just before Covid hit. I was asked what I was getting and was told to have a seat in the massage chair. They was busy, but I got there just before people start coming in to wait. After about a 15 minute Sam came over and started getting ready to do my pedicure. I asked her the price and she explained each. She was patient and very good at pampering me which was much needed. When completed with my pedi, she again patiently did my medi and did an amazing job. I go in about once a month for a deluxe pedicure. I either make an appointment a day ahead for Mai Le or request her when I arrive. She is excellent and gives the best foot massage. My toenails and polish always look beautiful. The salon does get really busy at times. If I show up during a busy time, I am always told the wait time or asked to come back later. I have also used Sam or Kelly and both are very good. Everyone is friendly and I enjoy going to Princess Nails and Spa. read more

So the first day I walked in a lady took her time in the back talking and eating while I sat there and waited. The next time I came in the nail tech was doing his nails while sitting right in front of me and then started to do my nail with the same utensil. Once I corrected him, he changed it out. Then he tried to do my nail the way he wanted instead of what I asked. Then he charged me $25 more dollars then what an actual fill in cost. I used to love this nail salon but there's been too many things happening. Maybe a new staff should come in or they should polish it up a little to make it better for their customers. First let me say i have really bad social anxiety. I went in with stiletto inch nails and came out with stubs covered in "let me see your manager" polish. I asked for 3 nail repairs and a polish change. I normally bring my polish but i forgot and said no biggie I'll just pick one there. I had my son with me and had to go to work in About 2 hours. Thought I'd be in and out. She said i think you should cut them down because of your work. I reluctantly agreed but asked that she keep them pointy. She didn't She made them squared. I asked for regular polish as the gel can only be taken off by drill. She got a attitude. I asked for a specific color (sienna/ dark orange) as i was in a wedding party and she came back woth blood red. I thought the lighting had made it look reddish but not that it was red. She literally picked thewrong color up after i refused theother colors SHE PICKED....and kept telling her the one i needed. But she asked me to pay before she painted them.......everything about this visit was wrong. I couldn't leave fast enough. She didn't really listen but charged me 23 for what should have been a 15 buck job. My son was there and i had to go to work. Not to mention SOCIAL ANXIETY from being in a salon. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place was the worse. read more

I'm in town for a tennis match and messed up my polish from my all natural nail spa at home in Augusta. It's been a year since I've come into a traditional nail salon. The smell of nail polish, polish remover, and acrylic dust nearly knocked me out the door. Nevertheless, I needed to get my polish fixed quickly. I came in about 15 min before closing time. I asked how long the wait would be and was told "Not long. Pick your color." I was seated in 10 minutes and the technician removed my old color and trimmed my nails. In and out in 30 minutes for $10 polish change. Not bad for an emergency. The service was good and the venue is nice. They just need some better ventilation. read more

This is the first nail salon I've been to in Macon so I have nothing to compare it to but I've visited plenty of salons before in other places. $25 for a standard pedicure which isn't bad- might be about $5 more than other places in this area. Nice selection of OPI and China Glaze polish colors. They include the callous remover and a good leg and foot massage with their standard pedicure. Their massage chairs are nice as well. $8 for an eyebrow wax which is pretty standard, and the lady did a really nice job (they use a wax pen which I have never had used on me before). I walked in around 11am on a Saturday morning and was seen to immediately, no wait. Overall a good experience! read more

I stopped by to get my nails done today while I was in Macon. I've been to Princess Nails many times before. I've gotten the SNS dip powder there before as well. I decided to get it again and it is horrible. My nails look like crap. To start off with, I got cut on 8 different fingers. Normally they will only do 2-3 coats for the SNS, but no she gave me 6!!!! I stayed there for almost 2 hours for just some nail work. It was ridiculous. My nails look like mounds. It is very apparent that my nails have way too many layers in them. Like I said, I go here all the time. I've never been to the women who did them today but I was very displeased with the outcome of my nails. I will be going back tomorrow to get them fixed. Ok I have been to a few nail salons in different states and this is equal to what I am use to in nj except for one thing the manager. The girl that did my pedicure was great. The manager did my nails and my eye brows which I didnt request. I know they needed to be done but 2 months ago a lady somewhere else took one off so I was regrowing them and keeping them thick but before I knew it the lady put wax on my lip. I was shocked and stunned. 1 st I have baby fine blonde hair on my face and 2nd I never asked her to do it. After my face was done she chuckled and said oh I always do that. Wow. She also did a full set. Nothing special. The foot \ leg massage was weak. I could have done it myself but she did a great job on my feet. If I go back it will be too only get my feet done. She never told me price for my eyebrows and of course she charged me for her doing my face without asking. Never asked if I could use a drink. I am very picky and believe if I pay you to do a job and I list what I want please dont add shit I dont need nor want. I guess I have to jeep looking for a nail salon. Also all the nail salon owners workers know each other and how do I know this. Its because I use to go to one place for a few years until they sold. That being said the manager lied to my face when she said she didnt know anyone in Macon. Also they are officiated with the salon across the street near the Mexican restaurant. Sam was amazing !! She did my pedicure she is the reason I am not giving them no stars! By the older lady who did no nails, although very nice is not very good at Gel nail polish! I got my nails done late Saturday evening by Saturday nights 2 of them peeled completely off(didn't know until someone pointed it out to me). Here it is Monday and I'm now missing 3! They look like someone glued them on. They are thick and stand above the top of my finger! I tried to explain to the thing that I was unhappy with them and she just shook her head and smiled! I called when I got back to my office and the girl that almost understands English answered and told me to come back at 1:15 tomorrow and she would fix them. I've been to this salon on and off for the 10+ years I've lived here. Several years ago my big toenail was trimmed so low I got a severe ingrown nail. I avoided them for years but took my daughter recently to get her nails done for prom and the young lady did an excellent job. Flash forward to the Saturday before Mother's Day. I took my elderly mother and me for mani/pedis. She did fine. I got S&S for the first time. My nails literally hurt for 2 days, I decided to never get that again! This past weekend I had a planned spa day in another state, with a manicure. With the growth, I could see indentions in my nails from the Princess Nails mani. This technician stated that it looked like drills were taken to my nail beds and because of it my nails were very thin. I've already chosen another local nail salon who has done well for me in the past, without pain. No more Princess Nails for me or my family. read more

The experience was not terrible but I went for a manicure and a pedicure during my lunch break. I asked for a pale pink color number 535 and they informed they could not find it. I was told to pick another color and did so. The color chart they give you is EXTREMELY inaccurate. The 'pale pink' color I asked for as a substitute for the lost one ended up being hot pink but the lady had already done the manicure portion and I had already tried two light pink colors colors previously that were awful and not at all true to the way they should up on the sample, so I accepted the color. I specifically asked for light pink because I work at an attorney's office and wear neutral colors daily. The lady knew the color looked like crap and her paint job was horribly patchy. The gel manicure was $35 (I have never paid this for a gel manicure on my own natural nails) and the pedicure $25. I could've gotten a full set for that amount or SNS at most salons. Pricey and not worth the trouble. Go elsewhere if possible. read more

I'm a Macon native and I went in with my mom for a quick little mother-daughter get away. My friend had seen some nice reviews about the place and she went their for her prom nails and said it was great, so this was the first place to come to mind. Indeed, she was correct. The staff was all super friendly, they were a little crowded but we had been seen, if not immediately, 5 minutes later. We got the deluxe pedicure or whatever they have it labeled as with the masque, sugar scrub, callous remover, a good 5 or so minute massage on each leg and foot, etc. it was the most relaxing pedicure I think I've ever gotten. This place looks nice except the service was terrible. The woman who did my nails didn't even attempt to make them look nice. I explained multiple times I took my gel set off and want them filed and smoothed down and a manicure. She started to put the base coat on when I stopped her and told her to take the remaining gel of which was clearly visible and half on still. She told me no until I ripped a piece off. She charged me $5 extra which was fine except she was then very rude to me after that. When she refilled my nails she went so short on one of them it started to bleed and still hurts the next day. I can see the dried blood under my nail. Then she half heartedly painted them and when I asked her to take the hair off one of them she didn't even fix it when it ruined the nail. I'm still picking nail Polish off the sides of my fingers too. Then she threw my coat at me when I was drying my nails and tossed my purse on the chair next to me almost spilling the contents. If she hadn't made me pay before she really started I would have refused to pay and spoken to a manager. When my nails were dry I was so annoyed I just left without saying anything. I'm a Macon native & decided to stop in on a whim before leaving town one weekday morning. Very disappointed in my pedicure, I think I was in and out in probably 15 minutes (and the place was not crowded). Was probably the most basic pedicure I've ever received - nail polish removed, nails filed, some dead skin taken off the bottom, a little bit of lotion rubbed on and nails painted. For $30 before tip I believe I was ripped off as I've gotten much better around town for the same or less money. I think most people must bring their own polishes to this place because the selection, to me, was pretty poor (I wanted coral but had to settle for red) and many bottles looked like they had been sitting there for a very long time.
