The reason they are the best, they have the best facilities, all their locations are clean (my favorite is a Macon). The staff is very friendly, helpful and very discreet. As a man it can be awkward going in to a place full of women, but they make you feel comfortable. My Esthetician, was very kind and didn't make it awkward. I usually get my butt and strip waxed and they do it quick and painlessly. I don't ever have breakouts in that area. I always visit the bathroom to ensure all areas a presentable. I want to try a Manzilian but I live in ATL and it's a 90 min drive to their location. I use to visit more frequently when I traveled for work. My only wish is they had a few locations north like even McDonough. It would take me only 45 min and trust me, it's worth the drive. They have the best prices and they don't over charge me like in Atlanta. I have very little and fine hair on the areas they wax so it is faint easy and quick to wax me (a man of color). In Atlanta they automatically assume I have hair like my counterparts and over charge me. So I don't use places that do that I will wait until I visit WaxStrip and have it done. As a man I encourage everyone that has a WaxStrip near them to visit. The have licensed and certified staff. Men if you go in for service, be sure to hit the restroom to ensure all areas being waxed are presentable, that will save time and money. Also men their are only a couple folks that can wax men the manager and a lovely young lady with tattoos. I forget her name. But they both are great! So plan according Enjoy and tell them Ken the bodybuilder sent you!

I called AZUL to schedule a pedi and the receptionist suggested I book an appointment with GODDESS and I am so glad I did. GODDESS is a goddess. She was so supportive and accommodating. She allowed me to initiate conversation, she created a comfortable and safe space, and she welcomed the moments of silence and reflection when I needed them. We shared a beautiful conversation that is a sacred and treasured experience for me. I scheduled a mani/pedi before I left Macon because I enjoyed the first one so much. I needed to move forward with my life, but I didn't want to leave GODDESS! If I were a Macon resident, I would be on her calendar regularly. As a manicurist, she knows what she's doing! Because she is in her own room within the walls of AZUL Salon & Spa, you'll be the only client in the only chair in the room. You'll have her full attention. She has a nice selection of polish colors. She gives an excellent leg and hand massages and the warm towel wraps she uses on your legs are heavenly! She's also experienced in giving diabetic pedicures. Five stars for GODDESS!

I texted for a couples microdermabrasion facial appointment last week, but all of the appointments were booked. However, I received a text for two availabilities this afternoon and I confirmed. Nice small office in an office park. Close to the local pizza joint that I've visited before. I like that she uses all natural products. The facial was similar to the treatments I've received in the past. Her touch was so soft that a few times I had to catch myself from dosing off into a tranquil sleep. I'm sure I'll be back and anxiously awaiting to see how my fiancé enjoyed his facial...

The studio is quaint, clean, and smells like a spa. I went in for a wax (of the most personal kind) and she was such a professional. I will definitely return and recommend that anyone looking for top notch service does too!

-- Do Not Waste Your Time nor money on TRACY…read more Extremely disappointing experience at Princess Nails. I had a 5:00 PM appointment with Tracy for a gel full set and drove 30 minutes to get there. Despite having an appointment, I waited over an hour past my scheduled time to be serviced. What made it worse was watching Tracy take her time with the client before me. When I finally sat in her chair, I was then told to wait another 5 minutes so she could service TWO more clients for eyebrow appointments. I had already waited over an hour, but I agreed because I assumed that once she started my nails, she would take the time necessary to do a good job. That was NOT the case! I waited approximately another 10 minutes, and then my entire gel full set was rushed through in less than 10 minutes. Yes -- less than 10 minutes for a full set. I felt rushed, disregarded, and like my appointment was simply something to squeeze in between other customers. I drove 30 minutes and made an appointment because I expected my time to be respected and my service to receive the appropriate attention. If you are fully booked or unable to honor scheduled appointments, STOP accepting appointments you cannot properly accommodate. Customers should not have to wait over an hour, then be pushed back again for walk-in services, only to receive a rushed service once they finally get in the chair. I understand that salons get busy. I also understand that delays happen. But this was more than a normal delay -- my appointment was repeatedly pushed aside, and the actual service felt rushed because of it. Unfortunately, this was an awful experience from start to finish. The amount of time I waited versus the amount of time spent actually doing my nails was completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend Tracy or this salon based on my experience.
