I've been to this salon one other time and had a great experience so I scheduled a mani pedi. The staff is very friendly and do a decent job but the prices are ridiculous, they charge for so many things on top of the actual service cost: $5 to take off old gel from my toes, $5 for a medium length of acrylic, $20 for chrome... and then I go to pay and $3 to use a credit card. You'd think with all these extra charges that the facility and salon is high end but it's a very average, out of date environment. With all the other options in Las Vegas and the fact that I was for 3 hours, I won't be returning here. read more

Ask for Heather or T whenever you stop in! I asked for galaxy nails and was really happy with what I ended up with. They'll quote you before doing anything which is always nice so you'll know what you're getting yourself into. Even let me know if the gel cracks within the week, they'd fix it. Awesome experience! I was in the mood for a pedicure (plus I really just needed one) and I turned to Yelp for recommendations in Summerlin. Candy Nails Salon had killer reviews and a basic pedicure for just $25. I took my chances as a walk-in and luckily I was soaking my feet in no more than ten minutes. The chairs have awesome adjustments and control options for the massage portion along with IPads for your entertainment. The guy who greeted me was refreshingly gregarious and seemed like he was genuinely enjoying himself. The salon itself is appropriately themed and very festive. My nail tech, Lisa, was incredible! She did such a good job with a "basic" pedicure that now I'm realizing I've been missing out on what I thought were basic pedicures... Lisa didn't rush my pedicure and I felt like she really paid attention to my nails and cuticles- buffing, filing, etc. as needed. I am changing where I was getting my nails done. I had been going to my previous nail lady for over two years! It was my first time here & it was very pleasant. I was seated on time and the place was clean (a little dated). I saw Andy which is what made this experience so great. He was extremely talented. I'm so impressed! I haven't had acrylics in months but Andy did not disappoint. Came in with a pretty simple design idea in and it was done very well. But just know they don't do designs for regular nail polish, you need to have gel for them to do a design. They look so clean, and I've gotten so many compliments on my nails. The whole thing took about out an hour and a half, so just make sure that you have that time set aside if you're going to do a gel full set. So let me start this off by saying when we came 2 months ago we had amazing nail techs and a good experience. My husband booked us for pedicures for my birthday yesterday. He told them Deluxe. This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The lady gave maybe a 1 minute massage per leg and slapped on nail polish. I can literally do my own better. They did even start my husbands pedicure until I was finished. When I went to pay, the man apologized and seemed truly sorry but gave no discount. Here I am a day later and my big toe is very red, swollen and uncomfortable. So I truly believe they did not sterilize tools and my toe is infected. This was a little further out then the last one I tried & I was kind of disappointed bc I went there bc they had individual IPad stations but my chair was broken & didn't even have one. Oh well. Don't sit in the middle corner chair I guess lol. "Liz" was a good nail technician but it seemed like the other girls had regulars so that's good. I went to get a fill and my daughter who is 9 got a gel manicure and I believe the total rounded out to be $60-ish plus I added a tip. Let me start by saying that my initial experience with this salon was not too hot, so I understand the bad reviews. I had a terrible nail tech and I was not pleased with my nails. However, the owners apologized and rectified the situation. That is something that I NEVER experienced in Vegas, so I decided to give them a second chance. After revisiting the salon, I have to say that this is hands down the BEST nail salon in Las Vegas!! I brought my sister and we saw Heather and Son. They're siblings and the best nail techs in the Valley. Heather understood my concerns with my callus and LISTENED to my needs. She shaped my nails, in the square shape that I requested, and painted them perfectly. Not a single complaint! It's very rare that I have no complaints and I have nothing bad to say about Heather.. I found out that I was not the only person who had issues with the previous nail tech, and she has since been fired. Thank GOD because that lady could not do nails. I'm am extremely happy to finally find a nail home. If you ever have a bad experience here, just let them know. They will rectify it and let you know exactly who to see next time. They value their customers and their opinions. That is very rare is Vegas. Go to Candy Nails. You won't regret it. read more

Not giving them 5 stars because they remembered me and my sister after the longest time, but... I'm giving them 5 stars 'cause they're still one of the friendliest establishments around! Son and Ivy still know their patrons, and they can still make us laugh. Something new is that they changed the layout of their salon. At least just their manicure area. New associates too, but they still know how to make your nails nice with sound practices (i.e. clean tools). If only I still lived on this side of town. *SIGH* read more

I had high hopes for this place especially because I really wanted to pamper myself on a little grander scale. Sorry to say it fell short. I called ahead of time to make an appointment. When I was sat down there was apparently no communication between the technician and whoever I talked to on the phone. I scheduled for an ice cream pedicure and a basic manicure with paraffin. My technician seemed to be the only one who didn't speak much English in the entire facility and proceeded to tell me that they don't have that for hands I felt like she either lacked professionalism or was new? She kept making me reach my arms over during my manicure (I was sitting in the pedicure chair) and didn't really bother to make sure all my nails were evenly filed or even bothered to ask how I want it shaped. She didn't even use cuticle oil. It looked like I did my nails on my own. I asked if I could use the iPads they have on the chair and she said she didn't know the code and didn't bother to ask anyone. So, basically they were just decoration ‍ I tried to enjoy my pedicure, but it was not peaceful at all. I definitely felt rushed the whole time. She kept asking how long I needed to be here? I'm not the technician so I always leave it up to the expert. I kept telling her "I'm not in a rush". My biggest highlight of the pedicure was the tiny ice cream they provide ‍ The pictures of my nails look okay my toes definitely better than my nails. I don't think I'll be back. Too bad because I like to tip generously. Especially when I get great service. read more

Last time I had my nails done was in the beginning of February when I was home visiting my family. The place I go with my mom to does a great job with gel polish and it lasts, (I had the same gel polish on since February 7th til yesterday). I called to see if they were busy and asked if I could come in at 2pm and the lady who answered said that was perfect and come on in. I got there at 1:55 and signed in, the young lady showed me where to pick out my gel color, I picked 514. Nina pointed me to which chair, I sat down and she started on my nails. She was so friendly and talkative and we had a great conversation the whole time. Nina complimented the length of my natural nails. She did a great job on my nails and really took her time with the details in shaping my natural nails. When Nina asked what color I wanted, I told her 514 and she let me know that it wasn't a full coverage color, that the example was a glitter polish with white under. She helped me pick out a similar base color so that it would look better, and I appreciated that! She added several coats of the gel to help ensure my natural nails were strong and hard. The prices are decent and the customer service was great! Next time I need my nails done I will definitely be coming here and seeing Nina! read more

I wanted to love this place, I really did. This salon is very clean and close to where I've recently moved. The staff I've encountered are also professional and kind, so I hate to say I won't be back. I came in a few weeks ago to check the place out and to get a pedicure. Gotta say, pedicure was lovely and it still looks nice 3 weeks later. I'm sorry to say that's where the good news ends. After my pedicure I made an appt to come back the next day for a powder dip manicure. Went in for my powder and all went well, and my nails looked pretty nice when I left. Three hours later at home I was folding laundry (clearly a strenuous activity, right?) and the nail on the middle finger of my left hand cracked straight down the middle and popped off. Thankfully the salon was still open, and because they offer a "seven day guarantee", I went to have it fixed. They did this free of charge, which was excellent! I left that evening for a weeklong vacation, and within 24 hours ALL of my nails came off. Meaning that without any stress to my hands or nails, all of them popped off within a day. Before this manicure it had been several months since I had any nail treatments, I chose to let my nails be natural for awhile to recover from over three years of constant powder dip manicures. In the past when I've had this kind of manicure they are thick, strong, and last at least three weeks. I am a nurse, so with the constant hand washing my nails go through a lot! In over three years of constant powder dip manicures at my old salon, I only ever had cracking once. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I'm not sure if this salon uses an inferior product or if their technicians just don't know how to properly do a powder dip manicure. Either way, the result was awful and it was definitely a waste of money. The powder dip costs $40, I tipped $7 to my first technician and another $5 to the one who fixed my nail the first day. $52 poorly spent, honestly. Moving forward I would come back here for a basic pedicure, but beware if you're looking for a quality powder dip manicure. I've learned that driving an extra 30 minutes to my old salon is well worth the piece of mind knowing I'm getting a gorgeous and reliable powder dip manicure there. Still wanted to give a couple of stars because the staff is friendly, it is easy to make an appt, and it is clean inside.
