My whole family goes here: - Dad for pedicures with Duke or Paul to prevent complications from Diabetes. - Mom for acrylics with cute designs and pedicures with Theresa. - I have gel manis by Anna which last forever (a miracle since I'm training, in the pool and scrambling; even completed my first Tough Mudder without breaking a nail!) and pedis by all on my runner's feet. - Anna does a great job waxing my legs; she also performs facials and chemical peels, which I have not tried here. - Theresa is a Lash Extension Pro: people constantly ask me about them; I love that I can go from gym to pool to OCR and still look great. Need a new set, STAT! On top of their expert skills, they are caring above and beyond business, we consider them friends. When I'm out of town, they offer to check in on and help my parents if needed. They have donated generously (without being asked) to the Alzheimer's Walk, as they have seen my Dad deteriorating over the years. Gels that last forever, perfect pedis, luscious lash extensions, clean shop, reasonable prices and truly wonderful family = couldn't recommend them more highly! * highly suggest appointments, they are very busy *

Today, Anna, gave me the Best Facial I have ever had!!! I had the peel and moisturizer ... Anna includes some of her specialty items such as numerous hot towels, cool sprays, mini head massage along with arm and hands! I also had my eyebrows waxed and, they look fantastic! I was so relaxed I didn't ask to see my eyebrows before I left. I looked when I got home and was pleasantly surprised to see she had applied a lip stain in a light wine color...it was fabulous! I would highly recommend Anna's facial.... I can't wait to go back! Reasonable prices for the quality of the facial I received. read more

Love this salon! I tried several when I first moved here from the L.A. area and they were either too pricey or not very good. Paul and Anne at SunShine Nails are efficient and high-quality at an affordable price...AND they are very close to my house...even better! The atmosphere is fun and the clientele good-natured. First time at Sunshine nails, and I just had a pedicure with Loc. It was amazing and much needed! My pedicure didn't feel rushed, and I felt that he really spent his time with my feet; he even helped get out an ingrown that was starting. all the other staff also seemed very kind and professional. At the onset of the call, Paul offered me 2 appointments for the next day, one at 11:30 am and one at 5pm. i couldn't recall the names in the review with compliments that seemed a fit for me. When I called back in 5 minutes, Teresa told me NO appointments were available with ANY operator employed there for 8 days, Teresa was sarcastic and cynical. Too snarky. Actually I called the day before at 11:45 am and my call went to voicemail. Leaving a detailed message and my number my call wasn't returned. - After the poor customer service just to get an appointment, not much confidence these folks take care of the customer. Can't imagine what they'd say if you complained nail polish wasn't cleared off your cuticles or some such minor adjustment was necessary!?! If you feel a business should treat you respectfully as a paying customer go elsewhere! read more

I was so happy to finally find an affordable nail salon close to my house! I came here to do my gel nails and the end result was great. I also have to mention the fact that this is the cheapest gel manicure I have found in town, just $30 dollars! And the pedicure is just 20. The staff is nice and attentive, I was in and out in just one hour! I would totally recommend for you to come and try it for your self! Appointments are not required but highly recommended read more

I've been coming here for 5 years now! I love this place! I love how they make you welcome & they are so kind & sweet! They know everyone by heart! I'm a guy that keeps my hi-genes on point but definitely can't do it without their wonderful service. I definitely recommend this nail shop above all others just because the owner Duke keeps it real. You feel the positive energy and the relaxation the moment you step through the door and if for some reason you don't, then wait for Duke. He knows his stuff and his wife is also fantastic and service oriented. Wonderful place. read more

This salon is appropriately named as Sunshine, as the people here are rays of sunshine! Everyone was so kind. I was impressed with the amount of care and detail devoted to my pedicure, which was done by Loc. I was MORE than pleased with the results! It was only my first visit, but I intend to return for future manis/pedis just due to all the warmth (and humor) exhibited here. Thank you, Sunshine Nails!! read more

Got a gel mani & regular pedi - cost=$55.. Little too pricey for me especially coming from San Diego where it only cost me $38 for the exact same service. The nail tech was nice and friendly though. My nails turned out ok ... Nothing special...Just feel this salon is overpriced. read more

I had my first appointment yesterday with Dane the owner. He gave me an excellent manicure and pedicure. I had tried two other local Salons and was underwhelmed. Dane and his coworkers are friendly and the salon is very comfortable. Before we even left the salon, half of my daughter's toenail polish was already chipped or completely off. That should not be happening immediately after getting them painted. For my nails, I specifically asked for tips on two of my nails and the technician didn't do what I asked. The clear polish is also all over my cuticles, which makes the manicure look messy and rushed. I also got gems put on four of my nails and one of them has already fallen off after just one day. While this was happening, my daughter needed to use the bathroom and I was trying to get the technician's attention, but she completely ignored me. I had also asked if they could wait to start my daughter's toes until I finished my nails so I could sit with her, but the technician insisted "it's fine, I got it" and started anyway. Overall the service felt rushed and inattentive, and the quality did not match what we paid. I was really hoping for a good experience doing something fun with my daughter, but we left disappointed.

The shop was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The barber took their time, paid attention to detail, and made sure the haircut was exactly how I wanted it. When I need a barber shop I might give them a chance but it's far from my home. The guys working here were very friendly. I should have asked them how many people think this place is also a speakeasy. It's located inside El Cortez and on the second floor where the original hotel rooms are located.

Absolute blast and amazing way to end an amazing night in Vegas…read more Family vacation 2 older teenagers. Decided they would get a night on the town with a show, dinner while wife and I had our fun. Dinner, show (Absinthe) capping with our stop at the Barbershop. I love whisky/bourbon. I love speakeasys. I love live music. Check, Check, Check. So now it's about 11 pm after dinner and the show and the walk. Passed the ski lodge speakeasy with just a few people waiting. Got to barbershop and the line was 20 deep. Ruh Roh. It did end up being 40 minutes wait but we made friends in line (ended up all hanging out inside). We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.
