The lady and man that did mine and my man's toes rushed the whole time and cut 7 of my 10 ties and cut two of my husbands, they showed no remorse and then saw we were bleeding so they poured alcohol on it and said nothing. I also used google translate to see what they were saying because a worker was doing her toes next to me and they all (4) said my toe nails were too small and that she shouldn't even do them. Then they were talking about the price. And then charged me $95 for it. I wanted to refuse and walk out before she started shaping but I needed them done for my husbands birthday. Shauwna is the only one I trust and I will not be returning unless she's there. 10 mins later^^ The owner just emailed me and worked a few things out. Looking for a new nail salon I was eager to try Venus as it is close to home. I was extremely disappointed. I will not be going back. No effort in my pedicure even though I asked several times to adjust the massage chair, and said I enjoyed a strong massage. Visiting from California & this is the worst experience ever !!!!!! The place smelled like cigarettes & asked kindly to open the door but instead sprayed febreeze. The guy who did my Nails did a horrible job, didn't ask the shape i wanted or how long, kept telling him my nails weren't shaped good & kept telling me "oh sorry in my side i can't see well". The talent of the technicians have been average at best, but it is obvious that the volume of business is dwindling, the noonish is not fresh, and today I got up-charged out of what can only be explained as desperation. Great place and great employees!! Some of the negative commentary (I am seeing in other reviews) seems suspiciously inaccurate. My step mother and I went and we were greeted happily at the front door. We both got mani pedis (and closer to the end of the day). My technician was the owner, Jennifer. She did an exquisite job on both my toes and nails. Callus gone, nails and cuticles fully cleaned up. My polish job was nothing short of perfection. I'm telling you... perfect! You ever see those fake pre polished glue-on nails hanging at Walgreens? They looked better than those! I was so pleased. There studio is very clean. All of the tools used for my mani- pedi were sanitized before and after usage. They have dividers that separate them from clients at the manicure station. The message chairs are kept nicely and always make my visit more relaxing. My entire family, including my father, are continuous customers and we love every visit. Highly recommend visiting. I was visiting the Las Vegas area when referred to this place of business for a simple mani-pedi. There were only about 3-4 customers in & outta there. My feet were done 1st then my nails on my hands. The manicurist wanted to reinforce a side-cut thumbnail for no additional charge and I agreed. I was a distracted reading but didn't feel I needed to monitor the manicure 'cause my toes were adequately done. I was given a gel mani without my permission! I've had a couple of gel mani's before but don't like them (don't care for the damage they do to my natural nails), therefore, I know I shouldn't have been misunderstood! Plus, the nail polish was drippy/droopy & dried like that! I visit Vegas quite a lot 'cause family lives up here but will never spend my hard-earned money here, again! She did greet me with a smile, though (coming & going). read more

1 star is 1 too many. We went after golf one day because my usual nail salon was booked. Asked if they had an opening for 2 pedis at the same time and they said yes. I sat in my pedi chair for 15 minutes and finally asked if they were going to put water in the tub. Meanwhile they had already started on my boyfriend's pedi. At this point, I'm still waiting for a technician and for water to start my soak. 10 more minutes pass and I ask again. They ran around frantically, saying who knows what. Still nothing. 5 more minutes pass still nothing and now they're more than half way done with my boyfriend's pedi. So I walked out. They ran after me asking why. I let them know we were there to have a pedi together and it was an epic fail. All that aside, the place is FILTHY. The equipment is not properly sterilized and I question if everyone is licensed. As a man it can be uncomfortable to go get a pedicure, but the workers make me feel extremely comfortable to make sure my feet and toes look nice in sandals. They are extremely professional, and keep the place looking nice. I would definitely recommend this shop. read more
