The Dry Clean of this place is awful, I took my leather jacket and the employee destroyed it, instead tell me that they don't work with Leather, the employe put a remover and the jacket is totally destroyed. She gave me the jacket in a big bag and when I opened the bag saw the mess. I came back to make a claim and the owner or the manager said that she will give me US$100 dollar if a bring her a receipt, that of course I not have because I bought it in Ann Taylor one year ago, so she asked me to go to the store, thing that I won't do either, they don't accept their responsibility, finally she said that she is going to give me a credit to make some of my clothes clean, what for?to destroy it? no way. Glad this place was available since my dryer is dead .Clean , large , breezy , plenty of stuff to do while you wait . One can even buy lottery tickets .I prefer my book. I could not tell which one was the dryer or washer since I don't have much experience with laundry places . The young lady laughed at me and I laughed too. I came here last minute since I needed to wash so late. I appreciate the fact that they were open and had tons of machines available.I used to come here years ago and it was nice but I also lived closer. When I came in to wash at night I couldn't believe how much it had changed and not in a good way. It looks ran down unkempt and the prices for the machines I don't feel are worth it. I noticed some creepy crawlies around the sink areas but I had no choice to still wash here. I just made sure I used a ton of laundry sanitizer and I did not use the tables to fold. I hate saying negative things about businesses but this place would be my last resort. read more

It's kept pretty well. There is a bathroom with a key if you need to use one. They also have books and DVDs for sale for a dollar. A lot of space to sit and wait for laundry to be done. They use quarters here not cards which I like. They increased the price by .25. a small wash went from 2.75 to $3. Pretty outrageous. The place is kept clean. The machines are a little more expensive than other places but theres places to sit and a lot of machines. BUT just like every other place the staff doing pick up laundry takes up so many washers dryers and tables. The evening staff (hispanic women)are nice and helpful. For the amount of money spent on the "state of the art" machines, you might get back to your life faster than waiting around "watching your super wet clothes" dry. That right, the washing machines m, designed to extract water, leave your clothes wet as if caught in a rain storm. What happens then? You put them into the "dryers" that must be preset to cool down 4min before the load is dry. Then you must put more quarters, which now since your clothes are cool, must heat up again, definitely losing a great portion of the 6min per .25. I had to run 8, 1/2 loaded dryers for 30min - 1.25 x 8 = 10.00 in order to finish and spend my morning here at this laundromat. They may be the same owners of the laundromat on Taft and Douglas. I tried tin find a way to respond to the owners comment but was unable, so i will respond via my review. Thought it may be true that an object caught in machine may cause it to not spin completely could be feasible, it should only happen once on a visit. Sadly I have tried 2 locations and they both operate the same way, leave your clothes too wet to dry quickly. Please explain how 6 different machines on 2 separate occasions would fit to tour response. And please don't claim that the machines were overloaded because o already know that too may clothes in the wash will not get your clothes clean. My uptight machine is in storage as I am remodeling and it leaves clothes much dryer that your "industrial" machines do. read more

They called when the laundry was complete. I am so happy I used this service! I may use it all the time!! The laundry smelled good and was beautifully folded. Everything clean and dry. My wife dropped off cleaning on a Thursday and paid an additional $20 rush fee to ensure two suits were pressed by Sunday for a work event the next day. When my wife attempted to pay she was told by the attendant that her card did not work so she was informed, to pay on pick up. I received a text Sunday that my items were ready and upon arrival they handed me one pair of pants. Upon informing the attendant that I was expecting two suits I was told the other items were not ready though I received a message that they were. I was then told the other items had my not been paid so they were not pressed, which is ridiculous. I informed the attendant that my wife was told to pay upon services rendered and also I explained to her that one pair of pants does not constitute two suits. Needless to say they did not want to refund me my rush fee, but instead proceeded to press my items on the spot. When I paid the bill, the attendant was waving the card over the reader, and then told me my card didn't work. I informed her that she needed to insert the card in the bottom of the reader via the chip, and that this was the same thing that they told my wife when she dropped off the items claiming that her car didn't work when in fact, it was user error. The only saving grace was I received my items within minutes after paying for the services, but the experience was horrible will not be coming again and do not recommend. read more

I rarely write reviews and try to avoid leaving negative reviews because I don't want to negatively affect a local small business. However, in this instance, I relied on reviews to convince me to give this location a try, and want to leave a review to help others decide to either support this business or not. I regularly use wash dry fold because my wife and I both work long hours and we also have two small children. On the occasion when we get down time together, I'd rather spend time with my family than spend the day catching up on laundry. So once a month or so I use wash and fold services. I generally go to a reliable and cost effective place in Cooper City but decided I'd give Candy Clean a try. I was awfully disappointed. While they completed the job quickly and fairly inexpensively, they did an awful job folding the clothes. Many items were wrinkled to a ridiculous degree. It looked like they just sat for a while before being folded. About half of the items need to be put in the dryer at home and refolded or ironed to get the wrinkles out. My wife who is a nurse in a local hospital was extremely disappointed because all her scrubs have to be rewashed, dryed, and folded again so she can be prepared to go into work at 6:30 tomorrow morning. Overall I'm very upset and won't even consider returning here. When you charge for a service but only fulfill your end partially, you don't deserve to stay in business. It would be like getting new tires on your car but the shop not putting enough air in them so two of them blow out and need to be replaced. Just a complete lack of care for their customers and in today's world there are plenty of alternative options for customers to choose. I've been coming to Candy Clean for the last 5 years and I am beyond grateful for this place. The machines are modern and clean. Some even take credit cards! I went at 11 AM on Saturday and it was not too full. I go to this place occasionally. I have noticed how busy it is regularly. These days of the pandemic, at night, while not busy, there were some clients around. Night time. I had had a busy day when things turned out to be just a bit more complicated, somehow. And...sure enough, I made a mess while doing the laundry to make things more "exciting." I had observed that the manager, seemed to be , as always, very busy, and seemingly working by herself. I approached her, showed her how the detergent had overflowed out and over the washing machine I was using. I apologized to her, feeling both embarrassed and guilty for having increased her amount of work. She was very helpful and polite. Her reply; "No worries, that's what we are here for! to help. I'll take care of this. This things happen all the time. I guess she could tell how bad I was feeling? She took care of the issue in less than five minutes. I asked her what her name was, "My name is Cynthia," she said. I think every laundromat should have many Cynthias. This Cynthia is always cordial as well and supportive of all clients regardless of how busy she always seems to be. There is also another lady by the name of Grace I must mention, whom is very friendly and does such a wonderful job ironing my clothes! Had the worst experience from the owner herself, i told her the dryer wasn't drying the clothes properly she said no one complain about the dryer but push off and said here a quarter on me, which I took in the begging then over heard spoke to one of her employers and said she just wanted a dry on the house, when I over heard her said that I gave back her quarter.
