Went here around midnight as it was the 3rd place i decided to check out. Was able to use the app to pay for my wash and dry which was super convenient! The laundry carts were either in an episode of jackass with Johnny Knoxville or a monster truck derby of some sort as they were barely together and extremely damaged beyond repair. Luckily my laundry hampers have wheels! Outside of that the facilities was not very user inviting as the vending machines were definitely aged and empty! The laundry bay is opened on both sides as to allow air flow I'm assuming. I can't tell you as it is a rather chilly night for me! But the facilities is equipped with a large fan which is moderately and thoughtfully placed across from the folding tables above the vending machine if one needed more airflow! The prices are fair and the machines seem to be working as expected. Kudos to one of the better 24 he spots I've visited. Though a few things could use a little attention and less neglect. The place is overall comfortable and suited to provide you exactly what you intended a laundromat to provide. When I raised the concern, instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable resolution, the company dismissed the damage entirely, hid behind "industry standards," and claimed the changes were within "normal tolerances," despite the fact that the garments were materially altered and unusable. What was especially frustrating is that a prior issue with a different garment had already occurred, which they acknowledged at the time by offering compensation as a "courtesy." Now, faced with a much larger and more obvious loss, they refused any accountability. I expected professionalism and care commensurate with handling expensive clothing. Instead, I was met with deflection and a refusal to stand behind their work. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing valuable or tailored garments here.

Today we had to go to a laundromat because we had two weeks' worth of laundry. Our washing machine…read moreneeds a part that is on backorder so we had to take action - we were running out of clean clothes! We went to a laundromat that was recommended to us and it was closed! I googled a nearby laundromat and found one called Tropical Isle laundromat not too far away. I looked it up on Yelp and it wasn't listed so I figured I'd take a chance a go there. (It turned out that the business was listed under a different name - perhaps the name when it was under different ownership. Good thing because it was a negative Yelp review!) Walking in, I heard a TV on and saw a couple of people doing laundry in the back of the shop. There were a few chairs near the coin machine on the wall and a few tables to fold clothes in the middle of the room. Other than that, there were empty and running washers and dryers. The place was clean and other than the buzz of the machines and TV, pretty quiet. The machines in the front were unused so I started loading some machines. I used a 55 pound machine for a king size comforter that we'd been meaning to wash for the last month - it didn't fit in our home machine and we knew we'd have to wash it eventually so I took today's opportunity to just do it. I added some of our clothes to that machine and fit the rest of our clothes in two 40 pound machines. We had to feed 20 quarters into the 55 pound machine and 16 quarters into each of the 40 pound machines. As this was the first time I ever used a laundromat I didn't know what to expect, but I never thought it would be so pricey! I didn't bring enough quarters so I used the coin machine and converted paper money to coins. I noticed a couple of signs up that explained how to load detergent into the machines for pre-wash and wash cycles, and a sign asking that we call a number if we have any issues with the machines so we could get our money back. Other than that, there was nothing in the shop - no puddles of water, no loud customers, no debris - nothing. The ceiling fans were spinning on high and once I had the machines going, I sat under a fan and Yelped away. A half hour later I used the wire baskets on rolling carts with metal rods to move my wet clothes to the dryers and fed 4 quarters per dryer to buy 28 minutes of drying time per machine. Before I knew it, we were packing our clean, dry clothes and heading for the air-conditioned car. For us, it cost $16 and about an hour and a half of our time. I met a very nice woman there and our conversation made the time pass quickly. I can't wait to have our machine fixed - I have a new appreciation of the convenience and savings of using our own machine. But if I had to use a laundromat again I'd have no qualms about going to this one. They have 28 washers and dryers and free wifi so I'd likely have access to a free machine and opportunity to touch base with my Yelp friends!

I have to say if I'm going to be an adult, and do my own laundry this is the place to go. It's clean (for a laundry), it's big, it's bright and the machines work. the best part, the staff is super friendly, to the point that they will spot you a cup of detergent in a pinch. this is one of those fancy dancy places that uses the prepaid cards rather than quarters, and while you can run down the street to the Save-a-lot and get cash, you can also give the attendant your cc or debit card and they will add money to it. Heck, I even had to dig in the car for 32 cents to finish a dryer and SHE TOOK PENNIES!!! How cool is that!? All in all, if you don't have a maid, or one of those fancy washers in your hovel, check out Kerry Laundry if you have to do your own laundry, you might as well do it in a pleasant environment.
