I got a hand pie (was supposed to be the cheeseburger, but ended up with the sweet potato) and a lemonade. The hand pie was amazing, with fresh, flaky crust and wonderful filling...no regrets on the flavor mix-up. I should note the size was more of a turnover/appetizer so not enough to make a meal. The lemonade was fresh and refreshing, though it was more on the tart side so plan to add sugar if you like yours on the sweeter side. For something sweet I tried the brownie and it was really good if not overly moist, something closer to a flourless torte. Like most things on the island the prices weren't cheap, but the quality was there so I'd definitely recommend trying this place out for baked goods or a nice snack.

So that is four. That leaves a pull out sofa in the main room. AND there is only ONE BATHROOM. The main bedroom bed did not have a frame. In fact, none of the beds had bed frames and there is no art on any of the walls, so the pictures on the website are not accurate. The closet door was completely missing in one bedroom. There was a nasty red stain on the carpet in the big bedroom. There was a broken tie rack in one closet. The kitchen looks like it was last renovated in the late 1980s. The rear entrance does not lock securely, the back door has a note on it on how to lift the handle to get the bolt to lock. The kitchen had a table with only two chairs. So you and your guests will not be eating together. There were three other mismatched chairs scattered around the unit, and none of those were the right height for the kitchen table. In the living room there was a dehumidifier grinding along. There seems to be a drainage issue with the whole complex. The front window by the front door was missing a curtain. Another curtain wasn't hung properly. Neither television worked properly, as the internet connection kept glitching. There was a scarred desk in the living room. The showerhead in the one bathroom needs to be replaced. I did not find this townhouse adequate for adults. I give three stars because of the building and grounds, very pretty, and within walking distance to downtown.

Maine has many lovely places to stay. This is not one of them.

Steve came right outside, got wheelchair chair ramps for us, had already put up handicap handles in the shower and on the toilet. Each cabin I've been in, is always so clean. So neat. It started with oysters, then vegetables, a fish pairing, more vegetables from their garden, and another meat and three deserts! We lost electricity for 7 hrs during one of the days and Mike would not talk to us directly, he lied to us numerous times about a car accident that never happened. I called the town ELEC company and there were no reports of any at all. Then he told his two man crew who did come back to work to tell us they would have itnon any minute. 4 hrs later we were ready to leave this dump. So finally when the lights came on he told his people to lie to us yet again and say they shit the wrong property off . What a joke this was. All the dishes and silverware was disgustingly dirty and sticky . I spent my vacation skimming the pool because the owner was getting drunk and losing control over the rest of the property . Don't let them fool you, there is NO useable playground and the rotted wood that is below the slide has holes in it and the sand had dog and cat crap in it . There is no arcade like his advertising says . Just disgusted . But took a thousand pics to show all the code violations and to have for proof. My 11 year old was in the pool and discovered a Cut ELEC wire sticking out of the water being held by a Brick . But of course he was too busy sitting in his bedroom (drinking and drugging as we were told he does everyday and night by all the neighbors ) to ask about this wires . When he finally came to our door 3 days after arrival he was hammered and slurring all his speech. I have proof of everything I'm saying since I took video and pics of this crap hole . Do your family a favor and go somewhere else . Then this guy says he remembers us from last year which is a riot since we've NEVER even heard of this place but he claims he remembers us very well. WEBSITE & BOOKING A ROOM: - Mapped out website to understand more about the inn & policies. - Easy to navigate, view room availability & select desired room. - Wonderful photos of each room with sq. ftg. noted. - Lots of information of what's around / things to do in the area. INNKEEPERS: - The level of communication is great. I had sent an email with additional questions & was answered timely. They also use a method of texting as well as leave their phone #'s. - We paid for a 12pm check-in & Dave greeted us. He gave a tour & a mini history lesson about the building, which was so interesting! - Kelleigh waited on us for breakfast & was delightful. She'd engage in quick conversation & swiftly served us each course. THE ROOM (#4 - PERMQUID POINT LIGHTHOUSE): - Super clean, cozy & romantic. - The queen bed was comfortable with many layers of sheets, a down comforter & quilt-like blanket on top. - The (2) chairs by the window served as a nice area for me & my husband to enjoy a beer from the "Big Brewstah" keg & chat. - There are robes with slippers which make the stay all the more comfortable. - The thermostat is programmed, but it's allowed to change the temperature. - There isn't a mini fridge in the room (not sure if there are in the other rooms). 3-COURSE BREAKFAST: - Served ONLY between 8am to 9am (as long as you arrive in that hour). They do ask if there are any dietary restrictions prior. - As previously mentioned, Kelleigh was our server & hostess. - The hot coffee is French pressed & packed with flavor. - Dave has some serious cooking skills & we appreciated the use of locally sourced, fresh ingredients. - It was a very filling & delicious menu that Dave creates uniquely for each morning.
