Dr. D is straighforward, knows her stuff, and stays calm in any situation. In other words, exactly the type of physician you want during pregnancy. I started seeing her about 12 years before I ever thought of getting pregnant and always found her to be down-to-earth and easy to talk to about medical concerns. She has since cared for me during two pregnancies. She did a fantastic job; my husband has been impressed too. The only downside to her practice is the lack of transparency in fees. A few times recently I've been blindsided with an unexpected fee for things like administrative tasks/insurance checks/telehealth that were not reimbursable. The real problem is I wasn't told about the associated fee until after it was too late to change the clinical decision because it was AFTER my appointment was over (I guess I could have changed my mind, but then I would have had to have made a second appointment for the same concern and/or changed physicians.) A list of possible fees up front would be preferable. read more

I really like Dr. Daneshvar and have seen her for years as my general gynecologist. However, something has come up which unfortunately forces me to write this review. She has started a policy of notgiving any information about a patient's test results unless you pay an extra $150 fee. If you don't pay the fee, you have to make an appointment and go in in person - even to find out that you have a normal Pap smear! There was no explanation for this new policy, so I assume it is just to bring in more money. I have been going to doctors for years and every doctor always calls me after a test to tell me if it was normal or not. No one has ever charged separately for this. I find refusing to tell patients that they have noting wrong without additional payment or a separte appointment is just awful. In my case, this caused a delay of two months in getting my actual results, as all I was told (weeks after the test) was to eventully come in, but not if the test result showed a problem or not. If I know there is a problem, I go in right away. If there is nothing wrong, why do I need to make another appointment quickly? Patients need timely basic test results from their doctors and shoudl not have to pay extra for that. I already paid for the appointment to get the prescription for the test, and then I paid for the test. Again, Dr. Daneshvar is very nice in person, and I regret writing this review about someone I like. This review is about her new policy, not her as a gynecologist. But this new policy causes confusion and delay, wastes patients' time, and comes across as just a way to extact money. read more

Dr. Daneshvar is a great doctor. She is straightforward with you and does not sugar coat things. She is very caring and on top of it. Sometimes I think she cares more about my fertility/future child planning than I do! Her office does have a $1000 fee for obstetrics (which is not uncommon for a lot of private practices in LA). If you have any issues, the office can work something out. She delivered my first child without any tears within 1hour of pushing. My husband mentioned that she was such a professional in the delivery room, that she commanded respect. We are currently working on our 2nd child, and will have Dr. Daneshvar deliver our next one as well! read more

Do not come here I'd you want her staff lying to you and treating you as if you are not human. The women up front said that "she had an emergency " and then lied to me saying "we tried calling you several times" oh and " we couldn't get to the phone. Wednesdays get really busy". When in reality, I got ZERO calls from this office because I checked my cellphone and I NOT ONCE did I recieve a phone call from them. Also, let me start off my by saying that my insurance from work isn't some free, crappy insurance... I pay for my insurance. As soon as I walked in, the women up front stared at me as if I had a zoo over my shoulders. No thanks. I'll take my MY MONEY, MY INSURANCE, AND MY LADY PARTS SOMEWHERE ELSE. P.S I went to Dr. Sushma Bhadauria and she is GREAT!!! SUCH a sweet doctor, educates you, and treats you well. The staff was pretty nice and I got an walk in appointment read more

My baby is now 14 months old but I remembered I never left a review. I went to Dr. Daneshvar and she gave me tips on how to get pregnant and I tried her techniques on a whim and poof - I got pregnant. I kept her as my OB and my husband and I enjoyed her very much. I'm a straight shooter and liked how she was the same way. She was informative and honest and I felt her bedside manner to be firm but smart. I appreciate all she did for me through the pregnancy process, birth and after. Thank you Dr. Candice Daneshvar! read more

I highly recommend Dr Daneshvar!!! She's been my OBGYN for the past 5 years and earlier this year, she delivered my first child. Under her care, I feel heard and seen which doesn't always happen during doctor visits. She has a personal touch and could relate easily, giving me such reassurance. Anytime I had any concerns or questions during my pregnancy, she would respond quickly and always give a solution that I was comfortable with. I love her matter of fact with compassionate approach, she just gets it! She really goes above and beyond with her patients with her time and care! Plus her office manager, Angie is a delight! I could easily schedules appointments and they would run on time. read more

Thank you Dr. Daneshvar!!! I am on my third pregnancy and I cannot say enough how amazing Dr. Daneshvar has been. She is always so patient with me -- in my first pregnancy I had one billion questions and she always approached everything with calm demeanor and considered all my concerns. She always goes way out of her way and I am so thankful for that. Her office is in a convenient location with plenty of parking so that is a plus. After my first pregnancy she added an admin fee for extra services. I shopped it around and in comparison to other offices I'm so glad I stuck with her because I get so much access to her -- she is so prompt with answering me via email text or call which is a lifesaver. I had an issue w her billing department but the doctor swiftly resolved it which was great. I've been told the billers have been replaced. All in all I am so glad I have her on my team for baby #3!! read more

My experience with Dr. Candice Daneshvar was very disappointing. I am sharing my experience with all women to make sure they are proactive when voicing their concerns to their doctor and needs are not met, then they should immediately seek help from another physician. During my visit with the doctor she dismissed my concerns out of hand. I was adamant about getting an annual mammogram and she replied "You don't need one. You are too young and it is not accurate." I made relayed I had been getting mammograms for five years and a previous doctor who referred me and my medical records was also clear about my getting scans every six months. She dismissed my concerns and said "I think you're fine." I asked "how do you know that?" She begrudgingly wrote an order for a mammogram and it was the wrong order. I had a bad feeling and was disappointed. She did not even look at my medical history or my records. I returned to my long time doctor and paid for the visit. She ordered a more advance mammogram and found breast cancer. Do not by any means trust a doctor let alone Dr. Candice Daneshvar who literally dismissed all my concerns out of hand and I ultimately became my own advocate. My previous doctor found stage 2 breast cancer and it could have been found earlier if that doctor had simply listened to my concerns. She neglected my concerns and it led to dealing with a medical problem. DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR. read more

I couldn't have asked for a better OBGYN experience! Thank you Dr. Daneshvar and team for making all of my visits and delivery so enjoyable. After deciding I wanted to get pregnant, I was in search for an OBGYN who made me feel comfortable, who answered all of my questions thoroughly, who offered excellent service on and off hours, and most importantly, a Dr who would make my delivery as easy, as stress free, as possible. Dr. Daneshvar made sure I was well educated with any subject matter I questioned. She guided me on anything I needed in preparation for giving birth and baby. She would give me a sense of confidence in every visit. And above all, she made my delivery fun (yes fun, believe it or not) and as calming as possible (and I am EXTREMELY terrified of pain). Even after giving birth, she checked in to make sure me and baby were well. Dr Daneshvar, thank you again for being the best OBGYN! I'll absolutely be back for gynecology visits and for future pregnancies. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Daneshvar enough. She has been my OBGYN for two pregnancies/deliveries, and now on my third. She has made herself available at all hours of the day to answer my numerous questions, and when I was worried that I had miscarried earlier this pregnancy, she made sure to fit me in at the last minute. She is kind, respectful, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. She truly cares about her patients. I have referred multiple friends to Dr. Daneshvar, and they all love her too. One thing I love about Dr. Daneshvar is her calm demeanor, especially during a potentially stressful/scary situation like pregnancy and child birth. My last delivery was, to say the least, VERY stressful - to make a long story short, I almost delivered in the hallway of the hospital. As scary as it was for me, Dr. Daneshvar remained calm the entire time, and was a source of comfort both during and after the delivery. She also called to check up on me about a week after my delivery, as I had some complications and she wanted to make sure everything was ok. After talking to friends who have used other OBGYN's, I can assure you, this is above and beyond what most doctors do. Thank you, Dr. Daneshvar for being such an amazing doctor! read more

Dr Daneshvar is an amazing Doctor. My wife had complications on her pregnancy and was considered as high risk. No matter what time of the day we called she was always reachable and answered all of our questions and concerns. She is the best OBGYN anyone could ask for Thank you Dr. Daneshvar for all you did for us. read more

Honestly a solid enough doctor. Just can't get over the fact that her office decided to hit us w/ an admin fee of $1,000.00 when my wife was 36 weeks pregnant. What a convenient time to let us know about a new charge. Never disclosed to us until this point. Way too late to consider going w/ a new OB GYN. My wife insisted we just pay and settle with insurance afterwards since it really didn't make a difference to us since we would hit our maximum out of pocket expense with or without the admin fee. Unfortunately, our insurance told us they flat out don't cover it. We asked the Dr's office for a breakdown of what the admin fee covers. That information obviously was not available immediately. We got the run around for a bit until they essentially told us (admitted) it was just a standard fee that all patients of Daneshvar pay. They said the fee goes towards a bunch of b/s that every doctor deals with; phone calls, office supplies, some other non sensical answers. Not to mention Daneshvar was pregnant herself and was out on leave for 2 months or so in the middle of my wife's pregnancy. At one point Dr. Daneshvar seemed receptive to waiving the fee since we had an issue with it being disclosed so late, but nothing ever came of that. You can imagine what an awkward situation it could create between you and the person who is going to deliver your child. We figured it was best to resolve the issue after the delivery since IT WAS TOO LATE to switch. She delivered our baby. She was good at that. All was well and we kind of just let go of the $1,000. Since we had already paid it, it became too much a fight to get the charge reversed. Then a new bill showed up. We reminded them that we already paid them more money than we should have and they could use those funds to cover their new $200-$300 bill. Juliet Mesrobian from their billing dept asked us to send proof of the admin fee payment. We did. And they left us alone for 3 months. Today they called to remind us our outstanding bill is due. They threatened to send the bill to collections on us. This has become so laughable. read more

Dr. Daneshvar is my favorite gynecologist that I have ever been to. Her bedside manner is warm and she makes you feel comfortable. She take the time to listen and explain. During there COVID-19 outbreak I needed medical attention: she was available by video chat the same day and she made me feel so well taken care of! I wanted a follow up call on a Friday, and I was scared about what to do if my symptoms worsened over the weekend. She called me back within an hour, didn't charge for a visit, and assured me IF I needed her over the weekend she was there for me. NEVER have I felt such compassion and willingness to be available from a doctor. She told me not to worry. A huge load of stress was lifted from me and this made all the difference in my successful recovery. Dr. Daneshvar really stepped up to the plate for her patients during a stressful time of the Coronavirus. I have much respect her! Meanwhile my family doctor left me out at pasture. Will be writing a terrible review for him. These difficult times show you a person's true character. Thank you Dr. Daneshvar! Lucia N. read more

AWFUL doctor and practice. Money hungry and incompetent. Please chose another doctor who understands patient needs and who is part of a professional office. Office is basic and old/tired. Waited over 1 hour to see doctor and was overcharged for all services and looks like a lot of other patients were too. More of a collecting agency than an ethical practice. read more

Dr. Daneshvar is truly amazing!! She is a wonderful and caring doctor and she is extremely knowledgeable. Beware this doctor has Awful bedside manners her nurse told me to undress and put a gown she came in didnt greet me or my husband and asked me why i was undressed she also was filling in for dr banooni and didnt disclose that even though she was seeing his patients she was going to bill out of network. In addition i posted this in jan of 2017 and dr banooni negotiated that if i deleted my review she would not charge the over fee now a year later the charges appear and thats illegal because an agreement is a agreement wether verbal or in writing so now im posting this review and suing this dr she didnt mail me a bill she put me in collections i wouldnt even give a star she is so shady and has such poor beside manners why on earth would you have her deliver your child. I work for guardian life the only time a dr is completely out of net is when there e and o isnt enough to allow a carrier to contract or a dr is so established they dont take ins well shes newly practicing and that to should tell enough about her from my perspective of who she is read more

Such a big dissapointment after seing Dr. Daneshvar. I found her through our common friend's referral. She personally and then her office said that she accepts my. I was very clear about using my insurance. insurance since I pay $700 to my insurance every month After a month later, they sent me the bill by claiming that my insurance is not covering her. I called her couple of times to talk and she never called me back. Front desk and she misinformed me and never took responsibility. Such a big dissapointment. I am wondering how she would take a responsibility if I want to deliver my baby with her while she was not even giving me a call back to discuss the mislead information that she gave. read more

Dr. Daneshvar was my wife's doctor. I had the fortune of being able to be at the majority of my wife's ob appointments. I highly recommend her to any couples who are looking for a doctor who is passionate about her work and goes out of her to make sure all your questions are answered. This office is INCREDIBLY unprofessional and disorganized. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I called Dr. Daneshvar's office before scheduling an appointment to verify that they accepted my insurance. Stephanie in their front office assured me that they did. After my visit, I received a large bill in the mail. I called the office to repeatedly and left several messages with their billing staff. They never returned my call. I eventually went into the office to speak with dr Daneshvar and Stephanie. They claimed that I did not have a balance on my account. However, shortly after, I received another bill and another. I kept leaving messages at the office. I eventually hired a legal representative to resolve the issue. Juliet, from dr Daneshvar's office called me on January 23rd to tell me to disregard the bills because my insurance had paid in full. However I just received an email from Juliet at Dr. Daneshvar's office stating that they were handing my account over to collections. This experience has been the worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. read more

I moved to LA from NYC at the end of my first trimester and had the difficult task of finding a new OB in a strange city at the last minute. I was so fortunate to be referred to Dr. Daneshvar. She is amazing! Personable, kind, super smart and super thorough, I never once doubted I was in excellent hands. And I was a high risk patient with a few complications like advanced maternal age, placenta previa and baby had a single umbilical artery (SAU). I met with Dr. Daneshvar for every monthly check up and she was very conscientious, following my case carefully due to the placenta previa and always putting my fears at ease. I ended up having to have a scheduled c-section when the placenta did not move and we delivered a beautiful, healthy girl at 36 weeks. The surgery was as painless as it could be and I healed incredibly quickly. My incision healed perfectly and the scar is very small. I really can't say enough good things about the excellent care I received from Dr. Daneshvar. I'm so glad I chose her as my doctor and you will be too! read more
