This place communicated very poorly and unclearly. Pretty frustrating and annoying. We were told 10 weeks ago we could join the 10 month class cohort. They simply asked us to call back a little closer tot he 10 weeks mark. Ok - no problem. So we did call back and - just last week - they confirmed we could join. In fact, they texted is to arrange to talk to coordinator. While their texting was inconsistent - at least it seemed we would be able to sign up. But when called to sign up we were told (surprise) no classes at all were available. In fact, no new class cohorts were even on the horizon. I have zero clue why they dragged out our expectations. No clue why they told us multiple times - even as of last week - that we could join no problem. Yet really they didn't even have classes to sign up for! Overall, this place seems very disorganized. And the people you talk to on the phone do not actually even seem to know what is going on with their own classes. They just sort of tell you "sure" and then let you down. read more

Rude service. Dr. Evans runs late to appointments and doesn't apologize. She talks in a way that feels like she's verbally attacking you. I decided to try a different doctor so I booked Dr. Morrisey. It took three months to get an appointment, and the appointment was to go over my test results. Dr. Morrissey was also late and didn't even have the test results! I did not find either doctor to be that knowledgeable about women's health. Plus, you have to pay a $400 membership fee. I would not recommend this place. read more

Do not be fooled by the nice office. The doctors here do not take adequate time with patients and do not care about your health. They want you in and out. They will not take the proper time and care to even review lab results. I've been seeing Dr. Christy Evans here for two and half years. In that time frame she has completely missed my hashimotos and ureaplasma infection (which causes low fertility and can be permanent). I request labs to be done a year and a half ago and my tsh level was 17 (clinical hashi's is 10, a healthy range is between .4 to 4). She suggested I up my vitamin D and that's it. This is pure negligence. I have been feeling awful for over a year and a half and this could have been caught earlier. She also told me I have an inflamed cervix, but didn't do a more extensive lab. Infact when I felt like I had an infection and nothing showed up in my lab she was so dismissive she told me to order a test online and do it myself. Months later when she actually believed me she did a more extensive test and I had ureaplasma. She also tried to prescribe me the same antibiotics twice in a row when the infection wouldn't clear and I had to remind her that it didn't work. I don't think she was even looking at my records and she actually argued with me at first until she took another look. These things have affected literally every aspect of my life. Her missing these things has affected how I feel every day and my fertility. Find another doctor who cares and takes time. read more

not convinced by the appointment and did not see any type of service or care that justify a 450$ membership fees! I requested the cancellation of my free trial month immediately after my appointment. Not only do they not send you a confirmation email so you can get a proof that you asked for a cancellation, but they will also NOT proceed to the cancellation and WILL charge you their $450 completely ignoring your request that you can't even prove. It's just not worth the money. They create this false sense of caring about well being by asking a ton of questions up front and then sending you weekly text messages to remind you to exercise and eat fiber and to see their list of basic wellness recommendations on the dashboard. It's not bad practice but it's completely unnecessary, unhelpful and certainly not worth $450. Dr. Evans herself wasn't particular great either. The few interactions I had with her, she seemed disinterested and aloof and wasn't particularly engaged or actively listening to the concerns expressed based on the way she would respond to questions. And there's nothing that irritates me more than making an appointment to get labs and then having to make another appointment to discuss the labs, especially when you're having abnormal symptoms and waiting and waiting for some relief and answers. And definitely not after you're paying so much to be a member. Wouldn't recommend. read more

It was easy to set up our first virtual appointment however we had some concerns about the birthing hospital they use. It was early on in our research so they encouraged us to look around and we mentioned repeatedly that we're very interested but that we'll do our research and get back to them if we want to move forward. After some research, two weeks later we decided to give them a try so we call and they tell us they're booked up and no longer taking new patients. If they have given us a heads up that they were filling up we would have moved faster but clearly they're swimming in leads and don't need to give everyone the full picture. Also, to any WOC out there, they didn't appear very familiar with concerns that would effect us so please keep that in mind. read more

I almost want to gatekeep this place, but my experience has been too good not to share. I signed up for an Almond membership after reading great things online and had my first appointment with Dr. Evans a few weeks ago. From the beginning until now, my experience with her and everyone in this clinic has been wonderful. The front staff was friendly, and Dr. Evans has been amazing! She took her time to talk and explain, which I sincerely appreciated. I had some lab work done in the clinic, and the nurse that did it was very nice and gentle. I haven't received a bill yet, so I can not speak to pricing, but as far as service and care go. Almond is 5 star. I agree with others that this should be the new standard of medical care. read more

Giving my first experience with Almond 3.5 stars! Their online scheduling system is fast and convenient and I appreciate their text reminders. The facility itself is in a good location and it's clear they put a lot of thoughtful touches and effort into the design, down to the sustainable feminine products in the bathroom. They even give you stickers when you leave which I was probably too excited about. I also appreciated how quickly Dr. Hill performed my annual pap smear. Where this fell short for me was the doctor struggled to build rapport and seemed like she was in a rush, especially at the start of the appointment. There were a few moments when we were speaking over each other. I'm used to advocating for my health, but was definitely not expecting this kind of reception on a first visit, especially at a boutique facility with a $200+ membership fee. read more

Do not even bother to call this place if you are pregnant. Made an apt for my first checkup/ultrasound. A week later, a day before my apt they call me saying they're "only taking gyno patients right now". Huh??? No apology or anything they just gave me a referral to a new place that supposedly would give me a priority apt. I've called this new place twice and they haven't even been able to tell me when they have availability, said they'd get back to me yesterday or today and haven't. Almond is absolutely amazing, I wouldn't go anywhere else. First of all, the decor and the design is just so beautiful and it feels like you're in a gorgeous spa. Everyone that works there is just so wonderful and kind, I felt so special and taken care of which is a really nice experience to have when you're going to the ObGyn. I recently discovered Demi, and so far I love it. During my first visit (which was over video) the doctor asked me a bunch of questions and really took the time to listen. I haven't needed a visit since, but I've messaged a couple of questions that came up and quickly received responses each time. An added bonus was that I was able to make a next-day appointment directly from their website. I've always struggled with finding an ObGyn that works for me, and am so glad that I found Demi.
